Well, I think I will stop going to the group for a while and just do it on my own...I am getting a bit pissed off abot the slowness of weightloss and the money I am spending...!
I still like the plan and all that, so, it's not that...but it's the money spend that annoys me, lol...
so, will need all your support, I think...
I will not weigh myself weekly though....
I won't weigh myself until beginning of april, that is when dh's and mine timescale of reaching certain goals, is...if tha makes sense

kid · 31/01/2009 23:53

I usually say I won't weigh myself but its literally impossible!
I didn't weigh myself this week though as I know I would have gained. If I don't weigh myself, I don't know for sure then it doesn't count

I have a menu written out for this week, will follow that and weigh myself on Saturday and not before if I can help it.

Its really hard to do it alone at home, I am struggling as usual, but I am still going to give it my best shot. Plus I have a new exercise regime to follow. 5 lots of 15 minutes exercise with my new wii fitness coach.

FairLadyRantALot · 01/02/2009 00:31

I know what you mean kid...but, well, going to group hasn't really been that helpful to me neither, this time, iykwim...so, we shall see...

Is the Wii My fitness coach any good? I'm thinking of buying it.

Franniban · 01/02/2009 09:27

Hi There, can I join the thread? I'm back on diet tomorrow. Can't afford to join the class again, which keeps you on the wagon. Really want to shift about 4 stones by July.

Have been studying my old mags and worked out a meal plan for the week. Would really like some ideas for taking lunch to work rather than boring old salad or sandwiches. No micro at work. Could get a flask for soup I guess. Any suggestions.

caykon · 01/02/2009 09:44

Fran - I made a salmon and broccoli quiche yesterday. (Dry fried some onions, par boiled broccoli and grilled salmon, mixed 3 eggs with about 8oz of vlf cottage cheese mixed in the onions broccoli and flaked salmon season and bake in oven) it was delicous both hot and cold.
could you take something like that for lunch. You can use what veg / ingredients you like in the quiches to key in with the day your having.

DrZeus · 01/02/2009 10:24

It was all going so well. 8lb in 3 weeks and 7lb away from target. Then I had a really bad week last week and I dread to think of the gain.......I'm so depressed that I've basically thrown it all away. I've got a dinner dance on 14th Feb and that was my target date. I was really stressed last week with work and stuff and didn't follow the plan (didn't follow any plan, just stuffed my face!). Back on SW today and hope against hope it's not too grim tomorrow.

Franniban · 01/02/2009 11:46

cay, thanks for that, I'll give it a try. Sounds yum

sugarlumps · 01/02/2009 17:11

dont worry zeusy, i've done the same thing this week, i am going to be lucky if i can limit the damage to a llb gain, but just think of the damage you will do if you dont go back to group!!!!!
(thats how im looking at it anyway!!)

Pwsimerimew · 01/02/2009 19:00

I've had a lovely weekend, but have to eat sin free now until wheigh in Tuesday. Typical, with all this talk of snow I could murder a proper hot chocolate with whipped cream.
I have to keep visualising myself in size 12 white linen pants and a sexy top.
What I don't like in group is that he rarely remembers my name . (was a member before Christmas for 5 months)

Pwsimerimew · 01/02/2009 19:02

Fran - I've got magazines going back 4 years! I have them all around the house in the hope that they'll inspire me via osmosis.

DrZeus · 01/02/2009 22:45

Thanks sugarlumps, just frustrated that I could fall so far off the wagon! Even today hasn't been great. I will go back to group tomorrow and hang my head in shame

kid · 02/02/2009 00:08

I set the profile up for my fitness coach last night, I have to use it 5 times a week for 15 minutes at a time.

I used it today and found it very good. Lots of people find the lady's voice annoying but I was too busy to really pay attention to it!

THe programme you follow is adjusted to your level. So far, I think it looks really good. I am going to be very good and stick to it. Time will tell if it actually works though!

sugarlumps · 02/02/2009 07:53

BLOOOOODDDDYYYYY SNOW! do u reckon i coud shift a couple of pounds before half 10 if i walk to school and back and walk dow to group? loli reckon i may manage a maintain, if i dont eat and drink anything before half 10 lol god its awful isnt it!!!!

Earthymama · 02/02/2009 09:05

Please help, this is 3rd week and only lost 3lbs so far

kid · 02/02/2009 09:37

1-2lb a week is a healthy loss so you should look at the total loss.
Stick with it, drink plenty of water and it will work.

lunavix · 02/02/2009 09:49

well i never made it to gropu this morning as my boss slipped in the snow and broke his ankle! so i got called in!

according to my scales a stayed the same this week but there is a 1/2llb difference between my scales and my consultants so, it would have been 1/2 a llb off! (somehow)

Pwsimerimew · 02/02/2009 16:02

Oops ! Good luck for next week then sugarlumps. i'll tell you how I get on tomorrow. Any tips on what I can drink on an "all day" mystery tour thingy on Saturday, which will help me go easy on sins??? I don't want to be the boring one drinking diet coke all day.....

Franniban · 02/02/2009 20:03

Good first day, so far! Trying mushroom strog tonight, can't wait. Potato and clauli curry sounds lovely, must give that a try! Must resist the urge to get on the scales tomorrow morning.

kid · 02/02/2009 20:46

I had one pot lamb roast tonight. It was okay even though I didn't have all the ingredients.

I really love balsmatic rice and tuna with a little salad cream. Definitely my favourite lunch.

ponto · 02/02/2009 23:09

Hello, can I join you? I had dd3 in July, I've been doing SW since September, lost 10lbs in the first 10 weeks but weight has been just going on and off since, so I still have 2 stone to go. I can't stay to class as I have the dcs with me, so I am looking for some online support instead.

Joined the local leisure centre this week so aiming for aerobics 3 times a week, should help as long as I don't just use it as an excuse to eat chocolate!

BigHotMama · 02/02/2009 23:21

Looking for some inspiration on here as 1st week lost 8.5lbs and last week maintained. Have got to lose around 3-4stone so feel like its a long way off for me. Its my sisters wedding in August and I need to look good as am chief bridesmaid.

I need to get some delicious recipes. Am doing mainly green days with a couple of reds thrown in.
Curry sounds good. Any other ideas?

Does anybody know this weeks password for the website please?

Has anybody found the extra easy plan works?
