Well too much wine again last night
but had soup for starter , chicken veg and potatoes and the lemon meringue so not too bad on the meal i don't think.
Then danced for about 4 hours so hope worked some of it off!

I like cottage chees on the ryvita minis when i use them as my he!

Connie i know!! We are going to France next weekend for half term but i am going to have week off sw i think. The french bread is too much to resist

ConnieComplaint · 16/05/2009 18:11

I have just ordered myself a new bikini & a takini

God knows what I'll look like, but it needed to be done & at least I can try them on @ home & send them back if I don't like them!!!!

Haven't done too bad today. Had a boiled egg for breakie, ham with cottage cheese and grapes again (just too good to pass!)

Haven't had dinner yet, but the plan is to have steak and potatoes with nice veg (Brocolli & carrots) & maybe a little pepper sauce

HAve bought walkers french fries (4 syns)

Also, have any of you tried rainbow drops? You can have 28g for 4 syns... lovely if you like a bit of sweet stuff, and as they're so light, 28g is LOADS!! It lasted me all night last night

Oh dear after doing quite well last week I went to a wedding yesterday where there wasn't a proper sit down meal.I didn't know that before we went so it was nibbles (not great ones) - then afternoon tea and fish and chips half way through the evening (all v.trendy) but a nightmare.....we stayed over so a cooked breakfast this am. I'm worried that on this "diet" a day or so off the wagon really throws you off course. I'm going to stay off the scales til Monday I think so that I don't get horribly depressed. I've had some Ainsley savoury rice this evening with some chargrilled chicken fillets and a muller light. Had to do an emergency dash to Tesco's whilst DH put the kids to bed so neeeded something quick. Will do better tomorrow !......(hopefully).Must also get the Davina DVD out of the wrapper..

fuzzypeach · 16/05/2009 21:18

I too am going to France in 2 weeks, but I know there is NO point in trying to stick to SW as I will fail and willjust be miserable while Im trying to resist the daily ritual of croissants & pan au chocs for breakfast, then baguettes and loads of yummy french cheese for lunch and gallons of wine before fianlly giving in ... I'm just going to try extra hard to lose as much as I can before we go so that the damage is not too bad when I get back on the scales - then have 4 weeks to lose as much as I can before being a bridesmaid in July!!

Im having a hard day today, Ive done really well all week which is unheard of for me - I havent strayed for the whole week, but am really craving some chocolate tonight, and ive just made the fatal mistake of looking through some recipe books to see if I could adapt any recipes to SW but am now drooling over some delicious looking desserts in my nigella book going to go and eat -4- a peach to try and satisfy my sweet tooth!!

ConnieComplaint · 16/05/2009 22:02

Sometimes you're better off having a little tiny bit of choc...how about a freddo bar? only 6 syns & a good solid chunk of chocolate!!

If you don't live near a shop though, and you have no chocolate in the house then you're relatively safe

Even 6 syns on a wee bit of choc you really fancy isn't bad!!

My sister, who is also on SW, had a bag of clusters today, anyone know how many syns are in them?

Snorris · 16/05/2009 22:52

I've had a wayward couple of days too! Back on track though and went riding this evening, lots of trotting, v. good for toning the legs too .

I agree, having a bit of what you crave is ok. My trouble is that I can't stop at a little bit!

ProfYaffle · 16/05/2009 22:54

Oh can everyone please STOP talking about baguettes and croissants and pain au chocolate! I'm just back from pil, had a terrible day food wise. Went out to the pub tonight instead of tomorrow which is kind of better as I can just write off today and start afresh tomorrow iyswim.

Kid - will look for you in the sparkly place, do you have the same name or have you gone cryptic?

kid · 17/05/2009 00:38

different name. still 3 letters though!

ConnieComplaint · 17/05/2009 11:09

Morning

I have just had the nicest breakfast

Two hard boiled eggs mashed up in a cap, with a tiny little bit of flora light (not even 1 tsp)

Followed by a huge cereal bowl brimming with fresh pineapple, raspberries, strawberries & grapes, with a dollop of cottage cheese on top!!!!

I am now on the PC as the kids are having delicious sausages with toasted plain loaf.... my two sore spots, I will return to the kitchen when DH yells that they're all done!!

ProfYaffle · 17/05/2009 11:15

Still obsessing with cottage cheese I see!

My latest discovery is defrosted frozen berries (have to be frozen as they leak some juice which makes a lovely sauce) bit of granulated sweetener and a pot of Total fat free Greek yoghurt mixed through. Totally lush.

If you're craving sausages the Morrisons eat smart ones are free on red days.

ConnieComplaint · 17/05/2009 11:38

I'm in the arse end of nowhere in wild rural Northern Ireland...not a Morrisons in sight!!

Nearest store (about 10 miles away) is Tesco. Asda is about 20 miles away, as is Sainsbury's. I tend to go to tesco as it's near work & I can pop in on my lunch break

Morrisons have yet to darken our shores... though I think them (or something similar) did open for a while? Not sure.

The frozen berries sound lovely, I have some frozen exotic fruits in the freezer, but last time I had them I defrosted the whole bag at one time, ate it & give myself the runs

We're off to the garden centre this afternoon to get some stuff for the veg patch, yeehaa (sarcastic) I do like to live dangerously!!

kid · 17/05/2009 13:03

I've not even had breakfast yet, I had better eat something soon!

Shopping has just been delivered so lots of yummy food waiting to be put away. I have stocked up on those chocolate muller lights that I can't seem to find in my local Sainsburys.

While I was waiting for my shopping, I ordered a mountain bike. I had better use it otherwise I'll never hear the end of it

My last bike was bought 13 years ago and is ready for the scrap heap.

ProfYaffle · 17/05/2009 17:32

I've had another bad day well, not too bad I suppose. We went on an open gardens tour in our little town it took us 2 and a half hours to walk round everything so by the end we were shattered and retired to the church hall for refreshments. I forgot that the church always puts on the most fabulous home made cakes so we had tea in china cups and chocolate cake. It was a fairly small piece though and I'm planning on going on the exercise bike so I hope it won't do too much damage [deluded emoticon]

Connie - the Weight Watchers sausages are half a syn each.

TitsalinaBumsquash · 17/05/2009 17:39

Hi everyone

I haven't had a brilliant weekend, we went to a Herb food show on Saturday and every stall had tasters - it was anightmare! Not to bad though.

Today i have been building and painintg a stage for our next play and absent mindedly nibbled a biscuit or two, i am just so used to doing it i was chatting and didn't realise. (honest guv!)

I need to meal plan, i have been kind of floating along at the moment filling empty meals gaps with sancks from the fruit bowl which has left me with stomach ache and wind

Im going to do a food plan this evening. I havde already made a large Salad with Ham for dinner.

This thread is crashingmy pc, it's not hugley fast, i think its so long my computer is struggliung with it! How many messages before we get a shiney new one?
