Jael, I usually shop either in Asda or Morrison and Asda often have the different quorn ones...can't remember if they are in the cooling section or the frozen food section though...

fairy....11Ibs....wow...
oh, and mugshot the noodle variety are all meant to be free syn ones...although....there seem to be some confusion about the Thai style one....

i have to admit i didnt know batchelors did a low fat supernoodle thing, but have just been on s/w website and it looks like the low fat range are free on green 5.5 syns on red, normal supernoodles are 3.5 syns on green...cant remember on red lol

it may seem my consultant doesnt know what she's talking about as she said all the batchelors noodles were high in syns....

MissieMoosMummy · 29/01/2009 13:42

Hello!

Can I join you? This is my 3rd week at SW and I've lost 2 lbs overall (to be fair, I fell pg in week1 and mc a few days ago, so it's not surprising that my weight hasn't moved much). I've committed to a 3 month subscription & hope to drop about 2 stones altogether. Hopefully I can shift some of this before I'm pg again, so I need to be a little better about adhering to the eating plan.
Does anyone have the password for this week? I had to rush off to the docs after weigh-in & forgot to ask the consultant for it.

justneedsomesleep · 29/01/2009 13:57

Hi all,
Thought i's join in early on this thread as other was huuge! Had lost nearly 2 stone before Christmas and then put 10.5lbs back on!!
Back now and have lost 3.5lbs - still a lot of christmas excess to make up for.
Going to try really hard this week - cause at some point, i would like a 2 stone award!

password this week is shrimp

FairLadyRantALot · 29/01/2009 18:09

Pwsimerimew · 30/01/2009 13:41

hi all! I joined three weeks ago with a friend (find that this helps don't you?)
I've lost 6 pounds, but she's lost......wait for it......1 stone 4 pounds in the same time!
It's her first time joining and she does have a bit more than me to loose, but I feel deflated all the same! (altogether "Aah")

sugarlumps · 30/01/2009 14:12

1 STONE 4LLBS??? IN 3 WEEKS????? WTF????
sorry!!!!!! my god thats good. why cant i do that? lol i lost 10.5llbs in 3 weeks but have put a couple back on this week so far!!!!
gosh i see what u mean about being deflated, i am too now lol!

caykon · 30/01/2009 14:20

I know how you feel a lady that joined the same night as me lost 11 1/2 lbs in her first week I will wait and see how she does next week. How do some people do it?

Pwsimerimew · 30/01/2009 14:37

I don't think she's had many of her sins, while I have been using them all. I really hope that she settles on one or two pounds per week from now on. Am I allowed to say that or am I being a bit bitchy?

FairLadyRantALot · 30/01/2009 21:21

not being disrespectful....but, sometimes, not always by all means, people that have big losses have more weight to loose...however...I know someone who is not that big and has been doing it since last january, and she can still produce big lossses....like 3 ibs in a regular week and her recent best 7Ibs in one week...
but generally it is easier to have big losses if you are very overweight...

OP posts:
FairLadyRantALot · 30/01/2009 21:23

oh, and if I could loose 1st 4ibs in 3 weeks...I would be almost at my lowest weight for my height...oh that would be nice....sigh...

OP posts:
Pwsimerimew · 30/01/2009 21:51

I've had too much wine tonight. Do you think if I drank it standing up, I wouldn't have to count the sins?

FairLadyRantALot · 30/01/2009 22:03

that would be nice, lol

OP posts:
magentadreamer · 31/01/2009 07:24

don't feel like a failiure christie!

it could be something simple like water retention, i have been taking a herbal medicine from holland and barratt for mine when i have my period and it really works.

Pwsimerimew · 31/01/2009 16:25

Don't give up Christie! We're right behind you. The scenic route is much prettier anyway.
Going out tonight, so more vino tinto, plus a gooey pudding. My mam's Sunday lunch tomorrow and then mullerlights all mealtimes until my weigh in on Tuesday.
Sad isn't it?

caykon · 31/01/2009 16:37

Had a good day soo far pineapple, blueberries, kiwi and banana chopped up for breakfast
then for lunch I made a salmon and broccoli quiche with lots of salad

I'm still debating what to have for dinner
