good on you ceebee wish my DH could work at home so I could go - our creche is v.expensive and I have to pay for 2 to go - and that on top of my fees!! I can't wait to get back into it - I kept up 1 class whilst PG but am used to doing 3/4 a week....am going to start slowly though, as you know have been running few times a week the past 2 weeks and found my fitness has really, really dropped.....Hopefully will get it back as quickly as I seem toahve lost it!! Shame you don't live near me, we could have taken it in turn to watch the kids whilst the other worked out!!!

Hi guys.

Sorry been AWOL for a while, but had DS2's christening yesterday and had a barrage of shopping to do and visitors to entertain.

Not sure about weight this week, have had some bad days and have'nt had time to keep track on the website, plus my batteries went on the scales, so I need to go out and get a new one this week.

Well done to everyone, 2lb is actually quite alot! I found this while trawling the web this week. riven this ones for you!

Find a weight of some kind that weighs 2lbs, maybe a dumbbell plate, a bag of something, anything that weighs 2lbs; weigh it if you need to.

Now really feel that weight in your hands, it?s quite an accomplishment to loose 2lbs in 7 days. It is also the recommended amount that you should be loosing per week by doctors and fitness professionals. That doesn?t mean that it?s an easy thing to do!

Fast weight loss is not permanent weight loss! If you are loosing more than 2lbs per week then you might consider that you are doing something that you are not going to be able to sustain for a long period of time.

Slow, consistent weight loss is permanent weight loss!

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 20/01/2009 22:26

Is anyone else having troubles getting on tonight?

GrimbleTheResourceful · 20/01/2009 22:34

yes, they've exceeded their bandwidth.

they weren't prepared for all these MNers!

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 21/01/2009 07:11

Still can't get on this morning. What does 'exceeded their bandwidth' mean????

Still don't have any scales, but have just ordered batteris off e-bay, so should get them tomorrow! God knows what I'll be!

Ceebee74 · 21/01/2009 08:53

I can't get on either - am panicking now as I have become reliant on it!!

Dozymare · 21/01/2009 08:55

PANIC PANIC PANIC........what does that mean???????

OP posts:
GrimbleTheResourceful · 21/01/2009 09:34

They need to increase their bandwidth via their host, it's a simple procedure and I imagine they'll do it today.

It just means they've had a lot more visits than anticipated, everybody starting their diets in January (it works on a monthly basis) and all of us MNers.

Write down everything you're eating, we must all have a good idea of our limits by now.

Hello, btw. Sorry to come in all bossy, I've been using FF and lurking on this thread!

Dozymare · 21/01/2009 10:17

hello bossy grimble and welcome!! Come out of the dark all you lurkers and join us - we don't bite I promise

THanks for the explanation - finger's crossed they get a move on!!!!!

Does anyone know how I can make a lemon cake today and track???? Got DH off sick and he is requesting!!

OP posts:
JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 21/01/2009 10:41

dozymare I think the best thing is to add the recipe. Without looking, I;m not sure how to, but am sure there is a page where you can add a recipe and it tracks it in your foods (I think I've done it for some dinners I make, eg lasagne etc)

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/01/2009 11:02

If only I had weighed myself today and not yesterday as 2 more lbs lighter. Oh well, will hopefully stay of for next week.

Dozymare · 21/01/2009 14:09

where is our website I am in desperate need of it, as feel the urge to cheat...I am soo fickle no?!

five my weigh in day is Monday morning (although am going to change to Tuesday, a Monday is a v.bad day, as is a Sunday for that matter!) Had I used my weigh in on Sunday, I would have lost an extra 1lb! Must have been all that sunday roast eh!

Well done everyone - reckon we have lost a stone between us

OP posts:
FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/01/2009 14:29

You don't think they are going to make us pay now do you?

Ceebee74 · 21/01/2009 14:46

Dozy am with you on the sobbing - I feel like I have lost something...I really want a snack but no idea how many calories I have left to use today.... I suppose I could work it out manually (can I be bothered??)

Am starting to get a bit worried now as surely they would have noticed it was down and sorted it by now - maybe they aren't going to???

GrimbleTheResourceful · 21/01/2009 14:55

Increasing the bandwidth is a straightforward procedure, I see no reason why they wouldn't just get on with it.

I'm still hopeful, this time tomorrow it'll be back

wheesht · 21/01/2009 15:01

Oh what a pain! Weighed this morning and have lost 2lbs. Was excited about logging it

Me and betterhalf were laughing about how it is appropriate for the message to be about exceeded bandwidth. My bandwidth and every other width is certainly exceeded but not for long!!

MABS · 21/01/2009 16:48

well done to you all, I have been crap for 2 days and done no exercise, havingg done 14 days in a row before that. Not been eating badly, but just not losing weight

OK, I'm missing it now.

I loved it.

It worked, I was sticking to it, I was even kind of enjoying it.

Ceebee74 · 21/01/2009 19:47

Grimble I am exactly the same! Am gutted it has gone as I actually felt good whilst doing it and felt that this was one diet I could stick to - am adrift without it plus I don't know if I can have my frozen Freddo tonight or not
