Hi, I'm following a specific diet but going to use foodfocus to keep a food diary - does anyone know how to enter a recipe? I had a look but I can't see how to do it?

Thanks and sorry if this has been asked already, looked but couldn't see anything.

Dozymare · 18/01/2009 19:45

Evening everyone

Had my weekly weigh-in this evening and have lost another 2lb so 6lb in total - am really pleased although I did expect it to be a little bit more as I have done loads of exercise this week..but maybe I am expecting too much?

Riven don't feel bad 2lbs is ace, don't forget that it is the healthiest way to lose and the most likely to stay off once you reach your target. I don't know if you know but Ceebee, Dozymare & I have just had babies so were bound to get a bigger loss in the first week.
You are doing great. Keep it up

Hello everyone - have updated the list but not sure if anyone else had??? I have lost 1lb this week, which I have mixed feelings about....I had a really bda food last week, got v.drunk on Sat night but also did lots of excercise.......As you say though, it's better to lose slowly than crash. I am saying it now, I am aiming for a 2lb weight loss this week, taking me to half a stone since I started!!!!!

riven don't be disheartened, it is still 2lbs lighter than this time last week!!!

just read therad properly...everyone (including me) seems a bit dispondant (sp)..>Come on ladies, we CAN do this, nobody said it was going to be easy, and it is going to take a while. Let's stick with it.......today is a new week....

Riven , i am v envious of your 2lbs, i've been pretty good foodwise, exercised 6 days out of 7, fairly hard workouts, and not lost a pound! am v unhappy.

Can I join you please? Just started today as weighed this morning and nearly had a heart attack in horror.

Am 12 stone (sob) and need to get down to about 9.5.

The absolutely sickening thing is that I lost 3 stone last year and have managed to put the whole lot back on. What an idiot!

MABS · 19/01/2009 18:13

riven, you may be right, but i think your 2lbs without exercise is bloody marvelous!

Ceebee74 · 19/01/2009 18:13

Dozy/MABS I feel exactly the same - all that effort/exercise and I lost 2lb but I do think that the exercise is building muscle and that obviously weighs more.

Went to an aerobics class this morning for the first time since my c-section 8 weeks ago - turned out to be half step/half aerobics - was totally knackered but I managed to get through it I wonder how long it will take me to get back to my old pre-baby fitness levels??

welcome wheest and a MASSIVE congrats to jeniebee on losing 7lbs!!!!!!!! that is AMAZING, what is your secret

Ladies, listen PMA alert here - we can do this and it is best to do it slowly (although I would be lying if I said i didn't want to lose a lot one week, don't we all?) Anyway our mantra should be "slowly and sensibly" (yeah right )

ceebee what did you do with LO's to fit in a class?? We can't use the creche at gym until babies are 12 weeks (next week for me) and I can't bloody wait - did you struggle in a class or not to bad???? I am dreading my first one......(although secretly excited at the same time as have really, really missed go9ing for it whilst preggers)

Hello everyone else!!!!

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 19/01/2009 19:46

Dozy DH was working from home today so he looked after the LO's - there is no creche at our gym which is a pain in the a** as I would love to be able to go when I want - not just when DH is at home - but I guess that is what the DVD's are for!

The class wasn't too bad actually (although I did find the 30 minutes of Step very hard on my legs) and I really enjoyed it - my fitness is about the same level as it was when I stopped going to the same class at 7 months pg - but have had 4 months off since then so I don't think that is too bad.
