I've been on it a year, lost 10 stones and have 2 to go...

Hi WDMOLG (AKA H!!)

I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time in Disneyland. I went many many years ago (when it first opened - God I feel old ) and it was fab then.

Good luck with the LL classes - I find them invaluable and everyone I have met has been a super source of strength and support (and everyone on here too )

Have had a nightmare week with Zoe. Her top and bottom teeth are all coming through together so no sleep for me. And to top it all off today she fell at my mum's and hit her head off the telly - lovely split lip and what looks like it's going to be a cracker of a black eye tomorrow

Oh well. Fingers crossed for a peaceful night - HA!!!

Have a good weekend everyone.

LittleMonkeysMummysAXmasFairy · 21/12/2008 19:22

Hi everyone

How are you all doing? Been very quiet on here this week - must be all the mad dashing about doing last minute Christmas things

H - looks like you had a fab time in Disney/

Hope everyone is well xx

LittleMonkeysMummysAXmasFairy · 08/01/2009 10:25

Hi everyone

Hope you have all recovered from Christmas and New Year. I must admit I've had a couple of blips over the festive season but am back on track now.

Hope you're all well!

wheredidmyoldlifego · 04/02/2009 21:55

LLIAXS - how's your LL going?

I start the program tomorrow and went to my first meeting today.

Anyone else starting LL or CD?

How are we doing?

LittleMonkeysMummysAXmasFairy · 05/02/2009 08:32

Hi H. How are you? Fab to hear from you How did you get on at your first meeting?

I've had quite a few blips lately but have lost jus over 3 stone now. Haven't been to meetings for a couple of weeks as Zoe and I have both been ill and what with this 'delightful' weather I haven't been able to pick up any foodpacks so I'm just kind of muddling along at the moment (and wondering if I'll ever be able to open my front door again without the mountain of snow falling into the hallway!!)

How's the wee man doing? Did he enjoy his birthday?

Good luck and let me know how you get on. xx

undervalued · 05/02/2009 18:46

I started LL on the 8th January. It has given me a new lease of life and I can't say enough good things about it! I lost 7 lbs this week, making a fantastic 24lbs in 5 weeks - it is so nice to be 12 stone something again.
I'd wish you luck wheredidmylifego but you won't need it, the weight will drop off if you stick to it. Enjoy.

wheredidmyoldlifego · 08/02/2009 00:00

undervalued...your message here is far from being undervalued!!! Congrats on losing so much already. You're doing a fine job and it must feel so liberating that you're flying with LL.

I started on Thursday and all was going well...until tonight that is....boredom and feeling rubbish made me eat. This massive voice in my head was saying 'you cannot do this as you never can so why are you bothering...' and so I've eaten loads (DH not about tonight and so it doesn't count...)

Upset and demotivated but getting soooooo back on the horse tomorrow. Have you guys had this experience? Any lapses and then getting back on it?

LMMIAXS - lovely to hear from you and well done on your major success with LL also. Saw the pics of you and your gorgeous daughter on your Profile. Beautiful people! Thanks for your support in more ways than one.

Are we all going to have a good week?

H x

I find the best mind game is - I could have that but I have decided I don't want it. I'm a serial cheater usually but I haven't on this, and won't. It costs too much money, I was too desperate and wearing normal sized clothes is fabulous.
Draw a line under your little blip and start a new day wheredidmyoldlifego Get the flavoured drinks and use them to drink your water quota. I have found that the weeks I have managed around 3 litres every day, have meant a bigger weight loss.
Make sure you have a lovely piece of clothing in your wardrobe and, every time you have a craving, go and look at it or try it on. I am so close to fitting into a fab pair of jeans I bought 2 years ago, that I'm feeling quite giddy.
Best of luck to everyone during the first 100 days - it's bloody hard, but so worth it.

LittleMonkeysMummysAXmasFairy · 08/02/2009 17:37

Hi

Undervalued - welcome and congratulations on the fantastic weight loss!!

WDMOLG - I've had blips (lots of them lately!) but the imprtant thing is not to get disheartened and give up!! I've just weighed myself at home and haven't lost anything in the last fortnight - having said that I've been living on cough mixture for most of it (and I ran out of food packs this week - hate the sodding snow!!) Zoe is a wee cutie (not that Im biased in any way ) Can't believe it's going to be her first birthday in a fortnight - where does all the time go? Did Leo have a good birthday? Ambitious wee thing isn't he? Love that he wants to be a rock star!!

Hope everyone has a good week

LittleMonkeysMummy · 08/02/2009 17:55

Thought I should really get out of the festive spirit and change my name back - dozy sod

wheredidmyoldlifego · 08/02/2009 19:02

LMM - you could still be a fairy - and thanks for keeping up with our blog for Leo's journey. His birthday was semi-okay as he has been really poorly the last few weeks including more nights in hospital.

leosteam.blogspot.com for anyone else who wants to know more about our son's life post-cancer treatment (plus all the details during treatment).

Had my first drop-in today and lost 4 pounds since Thursday and came home now on a high. Have totally put the blip behind me and you're right undervalued, I am going to start to throw out the clothes which are too big - off to the charity shop they go - and I'll keep trying on my lovely expensive clothes which I've not work for years and years, and which will be lovely once I can fit into them.

Everyone having a good weekend on LL? Let's have a good week!

LMM - hope your cough gets better!

undervalued · 08/02/2009 19:38

Thankyou LMM.It was good to find this thread, even if there is only a few of us!
WDMOLG- nice weight loss!!
Please don't be too hard on yourself for little lapses; you will find that it's hard to stop using food as comfort, or a treat, or out of boredom, or because some little devil is telling you to...
Throwing out your bigger clothes is the best therapy ever - don't forget to keep your biggest item, sooo good to put it on, and it falls off!!
All the best, sending good vibes for Leo, here's hoping he feels well soon.

wheredidmyoldlifego · 09/02/2009 16:46

Have managed to make a bean chilli for my DH without even wanting to eat anything as I'm cooking so quite pleased with myself. Going to have my 4th sachet a bit later and looking forward to being weighed and check for ketones on Wednesday night. Hoepfully the blip I had on Saturday night will not afect me too much and that'll be the only one as I don't want to feel as guilty as I felt whilst and after I ate things on Saturday plus it does make things so hard the next day.

LMM - you got some more packs yet?

Undervalued - how you getting on this week?

undervalued · 09/02/2009 18:14

Work weeks are fine and I have settled into a pattern with my foodpacks. I find the weekends very difficult indeed, but have managed to beat off the cravings by weighing myself or looking at the lovely pair of jeans I will fit into by the end of this month
My DH is very supportive and often comments on my increase in confidence lately. Losing this weight is more about that, I'd lost all my confidence and my self-esteem was on the floor.
You are going to do well WDMLG!! There will be no need to feel guilty or 'bad' for cheating/lapsing - I see a hals stone weight loss for the first week - then there will be no stopping you! Best of luck.

LittleMonkeysMummy · 09/02/2009 20:42

Finally made it to my class tonight to pick up some more packs. Was down 4 1/2 lbs for my fortnight but considering I'd been eating for half of it I thought that wasn't too bad

Congrats on your weight lose WDMOLG!

Although I've only lost 3 and a bit stone I've gone down 4 dress sizes (am now a size 18 - first time in about 7 years!!!)

Oh well back to the snow watch I guess - roads here are like an ice rink!

Hope you all get on well the rest of the week!

undervalued · 09/02/2009 20:52

Well done LMM.4 dress sizes is a great achievement!!

wheredidmyoldlifego · 09/02/2009 21:23

LMM - 4 dress sizes is awesome - nice one! You're inspiring to me for sure! Are you going to keep going once you finished the first 100 days / 14 weeks?

Undervalued - I love your positive spirit and have enjoyed logging on throughout the last few days to see if you're around.

Still having a good day and even cooked (3 different dinners as he wanted X and then wanted Y and then wanted Z...I am such a softy) for my gorgeous DS tonight without wanting to pick at any of it. I even sat and had a lovely mushroom LL soup with my DH and DS at the dining table and it felt really good, and I feel very strong. Bring on Wednesday and weighing in...

undervalued · 11/02/2009 17:49

Must be love WDMOLG. My DH is on the Atkins diet so I wake up to the smell of bacon every morning - very hard sometimes!!
Have you tried mixing a vanilla shake with an expresso yet? They are so lovely that I have them as a treat in the evening, after I have read the little one a few bedtime stories. Heaven.
Thankyou for the positive comment - it's very good to have someone to chat to about it as I haven't told anyone at work. You too sound more positive evry time you make a comment.
The diet is so worth it - I've had to throw away my comfort work skirt today as it was too big and looked silly
Weigh in for me tomorrow but I'm not expecting much as it's bloaty week for me.
Let me know how your weigh in goes tonight!!

MrsBrendaDyson · 11/02/2009 18:17

hi i am thinking about doing this, but can't find how much it costs on the website - any idea?

MrsBrendaDyson · 11/02/2009 18:22

jeez, yahoo answers says £66 per week is that right?

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 11/02/2009 18:28

it was £66 when I was doing it last year before getting pg with DD3 - I loved it and once I give up bfing I think I'll do it again

well done ladies, you sound like you're doing great

LittleMonkeysMummy · 11/02/2009 18:30

Hi all

It does cost £66 a week I'm afraid - although I think it's worth every penny!

WDMOLG - I think that thisis now week 17 so I'm past the 100 days. I have lost weight more slowly than others in my group but I have PCOS and this happened last time I was on the diet. It's fab that you can sit with your family and have your sachets while they eat. It doesnt bother me doing that but it makes my family feel sooooo guilty that they're eating Drives me nuts to be honest

Undervalued - it's a fab feeling throwing out clothes that no longer fit isn't it?

Good luck with the weigh ins!!

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 11/02/2009 18:30

MrsBrendaDyson I was at the price too but thought I'd give it a shot

it covers everything you eat plus counselling/DVDs/Excercise equipment and frankly I didn't mind paying it as it worked for me personally

I shifted 2.5stone before getting pregnant where as I've paid £18 per month for a gym membership for years and never had the nerve to go

you could always go to the induction and see if you fancied it or not

(I'm not an employee by the way )

undervalued · 11/02/2009 19:20

I actually worked out what I spent on lunches, take=aways and alcohol over a week and LL is saving me a fortune!!
I have lost two stone and two dress sizes in 5 weeks and my nails have grown beautifully for the first time in years.
I am full of energy and feel fantastic.
£66 a week is a small price to pay for the results I have experienced - on the outside and the inside!!
I say go for it Mrs - 'tis fab.
Throwing away my fat clothes has been the best bit LMM, I shall strive to drop the four dress sizes like yourself - has been decades since I was a size 10

wheredidmyoldlifego · 11/02/2009 20:43

Wo hoo - 7 pounds down...in just one week...but more importantly, yesterday and today on my trip to buy milk for my DS, I proactively parked as far away from the supermarket doors!!!

What is going on? I got so much done today, my DH could not believe it when he came home and I'd been to the dump for the recycling which has needed to be done for months, tidied all my DS's toys and done loads of cleaning...plus got some work done too, plus cooked DS and DH a casserole...

Bring on week 2...loving LL...loving my new life (may need to change my name soon!!!)
