Thanks for your lovely message Yorkie.

I have put on 1/2 stone during my pregnancy so I'm hoping to get it off as quickly as possible. I was just starting to feel confident with my weight before I fell pregnant.

It will be lovely to catch up!!!

I've rejoined the classes AND signed myslef up with a gym. I'd be doing really well if I could just stay out of the bloody pub!!!!

Demented - I don't think it's that because I do lose the weight, it's just that every so often I hit some sort of trigger which means I suddenly gain lots in a very short space of time. It's just a case now of working out what the triggers are and then avoiding them.

Wheat was the big one, and is still one I'm sure I hit inadvertently sometimes as it's not always obvious, but I'm pretty sure that I've not had any wheat in the last couple of days. I wouldn't be at all surprised to discover that it is the wine, as usually I only have it at weekends, when I'm not even trying to lose, and it having it midweek does seem to correlate suspiciously well with the upwards blips. Could also be dairy though - as I did have a little bit of cheese when I was making dh's sandwiches the other evening.

Welcome sweetheart. What a lovely chatname. Makes me smile just typing it. I'm sorry to hear of your loss Wishing you lots of good things.

Lovely to have you on board Sweetheart.

Lunarsea, see what you mean, it's a shame about the wine. Is it red wine you drink? If it is I just wondered if white or rose might not have the same effect. I certainly retain some fluid after drinking wine (I probably don't drink enough water) and the next day I could be 1lb or two up but it has usually gone by the day after that.

Oh to be naturally slim!
