I want to be a size 12 by Chrimbo

And then eventually an 8.

But I need motivating.

I have been farting about on a diet for the last 3 weeks, but I keep cheating. Keep me on the straight and narrow, and in return, I can offer swift kicks up the harris for all of you what need it

1500-1600 sounds about right Piffle. That's what I'm aiming for and I'm I'm 5ft7.

Anyway, fill in everything on Fitday and it'll tell you, that's whats really great about it, having it all there on the screen in black and white I find really reassuring. If I just keep on doing what I'm doing I will make my goal, cos the graph says so!

I'm eating fruit, oats, muesli and low fat yogurt, or else egg and toast for breakfast.
Lunch is almost always a huge salad, usually some beans or chick peas in it plus tuna, or cheese, or avocado or something like that. Just vinegar for dressing, no bread. Snack of maybe some nuts, or a few crackers, slice of toast or cake, or fruit. Dinner things like fish and vegetables, stir fry or curry with masses of veg, soup, trying to avoid starchy carbs. After dinner snack of greek yogurt or ricotta and honey.

So those of you with the Tupler book, does it tell you anything you can't find out elsewhere, ie the tummy pulsing exercise and the basically holding it it as much as poss? Spill please!

Hobnobfanatic · 29/08/2008 12:26

Sputnik, it just has lots of very precise exercises (some Pilates based, some not), which are impossible to follow through diagrams. Some pilates exercises, it says, makes the tummy worse. I NEED A DVD!!!

I also think I started too late. Lots of them can be begun post-birth, with a 'splint' to hold your tum together and to get your muscles to knit back.

Piffle · 29/08/2008 20:08

have to admit the tupler book was not that simple
Is there a DVD?
Anyway having a few beers tonight but having eaten sensibly and walked my tits off (I wish) today 4-5 hours
So still with 1750 cals and having walked allegedly 643 cals... Not so bad!
My target date is 9 weeks as have consult for breast reduction and then wedding in oz.
So 7lbs by then...

Hobnobfanatic · 30/08/2008 08:33

Yay! 2lbs lost this week (despite last weekend's debauchery. Actually, thinking about it, maybe BECAUSE of last week's debauchery...)

Anyway, that means I've lost 8lbs in total over the month. I hope another 8 come off next month!

scorpio1 · 30/08/2008 09:53

Well done Hobnobs!

3lb loss here, thats 9lbs in 3 weeks . makes me 9st 7lb....on holiday next weekend, so will try to be good but won't expect a loss - going to France.

VictorianSqualor · 30/08/2008 10:11

I haven't lost anything this week, but I have been a lazy turd and not done exercise.
Must Do Better.

scorpio1 · 30/08/2008 10:18

but you didn't gain though? all is not lost!

LisaLessLumpy · 30/08/2008 10:32

I am the same weight as 2 weeks ago but have had a 10 day holiday in between so I'm chuffed to bits

Now the real work begins again

PinkButterfly · 30/08/2008 10:59

Good morning

Well done on your losses Hobnobs and Scorpio. VS well done on no gain!! LLL - fantastic that you were able to relax and enjoy your holiday with no gain - hope I can do that when I am away, don't hold out much hope but will try.

Well I have lost a 1 lb which I am v pleased with - first loss for a few weeks now. So I have reached Sheik's 7lbs by the end of Aug by the skin of my teeth and have 11 lbs to go now. Very motivated on my Scottish Slimmers plan so fingers crossed I will be reporting a loss every week from now!

I am off to do a workout while dd is down for her nap.

Have a good day all!

PB

Well done all you losers and no-gainers

I have put on 200 grams, and I have been really good this week too. Bum.
However, I have been exercising lots so at least something should be accounted for by muscle gain, right?

I am trying not to get discoraged. I think I look better in the mirror so in the end that's what counts.

Wish I had one of those body fat monitors.

SheikYerbouti · 30/08/2008 14:13
