I want to be a size 12 by Chrimbo

And then eventually an 8.

But I need motivating.

I have been farting about on a diet for the last 3 weeks, but I keep cheating. Keep me on the straight and narrow, and in return, I can offer swift kicks up the harris for all of you what need it

2lb
and I haven't done exercise for the last two days either.
If I can lose 2lb a week without doing too much exercise and eating well/drinking not too much then YAY!
It's DS2's Christening in three weeks, I want to be able to fit into a certain dress by then so I might up my exercise.

PinkButterfly · 23/08/2008 09:50

Well done hobnob - have a fantastic weekend!!

Storm - bet your hardwork will show next week and you will have a good loss. Try not to lose heart though I know it's hard when you have been so good and see no result for it!

Well done Scorpio and VS.

I haven't lost anything but no surprise there with how I have been stuffing my face constantly and I have done no exercise for nearly two weeks! Surprised not to have put on half a stone actually. Don't know what is wrong with me eating lots of chocolate and rubbish really isn't usually my thing!! Hey ho - done now. Upwards and onwards. Have started my food diary this morning again so hopefully I can get back on track.

Hope everyone else has a good loss - will check in later.

PB

Cappuccino · 23/08/2008 10:10

well done to all you losey-weight people

no, you're right, I am not officially dieting. The thing is, I am still slightly ME-y, and one thing I find is that I don't eat enough I go really really funny, and have to go to bed

so I'm just trying to find a balance, and cut the crap out

(that chocolate sauce was a killer, btw. One teaspoon my arse)

Sputnik · 23/08/2008 12:04

I have lost 700g, so about 1 1/2lbs, which is exactly in line with my goal of 60kg by mid december.
I'm very happy, as I don't feel I've really deprived myself in the last week. I've had wine a couple of times, pizza and even some ice cream yesterday.

Well done everyone who has lost something. Stormy, maybe your folks' scales are slightly off compared to yours, I would always weigh on the same scales, at the same time of day, (having been to the toilet, trimmed my nails, blown my nose thoroughly etc)

SheikYerbouti · 23/08/2008 13:00

yo yo yo yo yo

I styed the same.

I am not surprised. Nay, I am pleased because I ate loads of shit yesterday

I am having a weekend of drunken debauchery, so I will becak on it oficiually on Tuesday, when I have planned to give up alcohol for at least a fortnight and and I am go9ing to step up the exercise

I still look like part of a cruet set, sadly

I weighed myself on Sat and was 1lb down! so it is working. Very slowly but it is.
I went to a party yesterday which went on for hrs so tonnes of food was consumed.

I'm logging my cals again today and I'm going to stick to 1200.

Apparently Britney Spears has got back into shape by sticking to a high protein 1200 cal diet and 3hrs at a gym evey day.
Sounds like that would work well....

Jahan · 24/08/2008 11:40

Oh, well done everyone. Great to hear the 'losses'.
Storm - Stick to it. You'll probably show a good loss next week.

Sputnik · 24/08/2008 14:19

There you go Jahan
That'll teach you to go weighing yourself on a friday

Cappuccino · 25/08/2008 09:04

just popping in to say I'm off, loves

I'm not losing any weight and I don't really belong here, you're all trying really hard, and I'm not In The Place

thanks for discovering fitday for me tho, I will keep using that

wish you lots of luck

Sputnik · 25/08/2008 10:24

Thanks for the good luck wishes Capp

Maybe you are better off waiting til you're fully over the ME, don't know much about it but it must be quite a long term thing.

Take care

SheikYerbouti · 25/08/2008 11:05

Oi coffee woman, ye cannae leave me

I am recovering from a v drunken weekend. I am off to a gig later as well, so more booze (eek)

BUT

I have decided after that that I won; be drinking for a month, and I am going to step up the exercise. I will become sergeant majorish with you all once again from tomorrow. I might even start a second thread to signify my new beginning (plus, this one is getting bloody mahoosive)

Jahan · 25/08/2008 16:43

Take care Capp.

Glad you're having a good time Sheik. Please come and kick arse soon.

Please come back to kick arse Sheik, or start a new thread, as I need some military boot camp inspiration to keep me going, or will do a capp and bow out...

(no pressure!)

Jahan · 26/08/2008 10:48

Have food like porridge, soups and spicey, hot (low fat) curries. You'll feel much better

I have been for a long walk and have had porridge for breakfast.
I need to do a couple of 1000cal days to make up for weekend excesses.

scorpio1 · 26/08/2008 11:48

I was naughty on the weekend BUT will be good from today. Wasn't overly naughty anyway...

I have hurt my foot on wii fit so cannot run but will do other exercises.

sprained your bum???!!!

LOL

Sputnik · 26/08/2008 15:44

Soup with a generous quantity of ginger would be good Stormy. Was thinking of you earlier actually as I had a tin of mackerel and saw it was 63% rda of vitamin D.

Managed about 50 minutes of aerobic-type stuff today, despite 14 month old trying to pull my pants down, climbing over me etc etc.

Piffle · 27/08/2008 15:28

I'm a shirking latecomer to this thread.
Have wedding in oz end of October and have various folks attending who I need to Look Better Than them...
So I could lie and say I'm 5mths gone with no4 but as I am 17mths post natal I cannot lie like that.
I also am having breastreduction in December time and am aware once mammoth norkage is reduced the tummy will look bigger.

Anyway I am epitome of virtuousity today.
Sensible food
Housework sweat up frenzy AM
Davina 40min cardio box
Lunch
2 mile walk with ds2 in buggy

Am paggered beneath weight of halo

Need this thread to keep me on straight and narrow at weekends when desire for lager often outweighs desire for smaller tummy.
But am not drinking during week...
Can I join please ????
