hi...wow 5Ibs from Monday to Saturday, that is brilliant Sugarlumps!
I never weigh myself at home...once a week is plenty...

Well so far so good on this new plan...i.e. eating wise brilliant...but the scales will tell all on Wednesday....I must say, I am a bit sceptical at the moment, because, the one week I did mostly mix&match didn't really work for me, and this seems similar.......but we will see?

No one interested in that magazine?

loobyt · 12/01/2009 16:55

sugarlumps · 12/01/2009 19:01

well today was weigh in, i managed 5.5 llbs off, it was technically my first week, well first week doing it properly any way lol! going to aim for 3 llbs this week, another 5.5 would be brilliant but i cant see it happening lol that would take me back down to last years target, but i think i want to take it half a stone lower this year lol!

heres to a good week for all!
the password is noodle!

FairLadyRantALot · 12/01/2009 19:54

well done sugarlumps...that is a fabulous loss...

doubt mine will be that good on Wednesday...but shall see!

kid · 12/01/2009 21:38

I started SW properly today, had more to eat than usual but all good food. Even chopped up some pineapple, what a mess that made!
I enjoyed eating it with some kiwi too.

Need to get organised and stock up on some more good food. I almost had a chocolate muffin tonight, but I had the will power not to eat it. It was difficult though.

Well done on your losses, I hope to be experiencing a loss this week, and the week after and the week after that too!

loobyt · 13/01/2009 09:19

Thanks Fairlady, thats great. It's for DH who is also trying to diet with me but says he needs sugar! I'm lucky enought to be allergic to chocolate so not a problem for me.

3 days in and all going well so far, really looking forward to weigh in though, hope i lost!

Well done sugarlumps thats amazing!

FairLadyRantALot · 13/01/2009 12:14

kid...this past week I have had loads of fruit and vegetables and really made an effort...it heped that I joined the 10/10 thread again...because it keeps me focussed on at least attemtping to get 10 portions of fruit and vegetables inside...
well done on resisting that muffin

looby..I think Curly Wurly are generally one of the best choices, especially if you put it into the fridge or freezer...as it means you eat it much slower than you usualy would and it is sort of more satisfactory...and hope that your weigh in will give you a fab loss....

Am nervous about tomorrow...because I know I will be really disappointed if I haven't lost much....what with being so supergood and all that!

Tommy · 13/01/2009 12:42

hello! I managed to lose 2 1/2lbs of the 3 I put on over the holiday so I'm fairly pleased with that. I want to lose 7lbs y half term - should be doable (although I have just had synfree and HE lunch and then, for some reason, felt the need to finish up the DSs' dairylea sandwiches )

FairLadyRantALot · 13/01/2009 12:55

oh dear tommy...dairy lea is not so bad...but what sort of bread was it?
Well done on your weightloss though!

Tommy · 13/01/2009 15:35

it's just crappy white bread, real butter and full fat cream cheese.

I wasn't even hungry

FairLadyRantALot · 13/01/2009 15:37

oh dear, those are the real disasters, aren't they...

loobyt · 13/01/2009 16:01

Tommy, I have been known to do that, isn't there an unwritten rule that if it doesn't come off of your plate their it doesn't count

Thanks for the curly wurly tip Fairlady.

FairLadyRantALot · 13/01/2009 16:08

I like that rule looby....not sure my hips, tum, bum and thigh would agree

Tommy · 13/01/2009 21:59

lol .

kid · 13/01/2009 22:27

Be careful with putting the curly wurly in the freezer, you could end up breaking some teeth and then loosing even more pounds at the dentist!

loobyt · 14/01/2009 15:54

Just put my lunch onto the online diary, I had Tuna salad with a dessert spoonful of mayo, checked it out on the syns and it;s 5.5 syns, can't believe it. Going to chuck the rest away I think! Has anyone tried the light mayo? Is it any good?

FairLadyRantALot · 14/01/2009 16:20

well...you gotta eat it slowly, of course!

Well am a bit ...because I only lost 1/2 a stinking pound....I have been really good, so, that is a bit disappointing...
I now wonder if I am one of those "lucky people"that the "brown" days don't work for...sigh!
NOT HAPPY!

loobyt · 14/01/2009 20:47

1/2 a pound is still a loss though Fairlady so still going in thright direction.

I had SW fish and chips for dinner and it was lovely, although i think I ate a little to much fish as it was only a HE and my syns were higher than I would have liked today due to the mayo thing, still no syns yesterday so hopfully it should balance out!

Another red day tomorrow, I really can't get to grips with all the new plans so I just stick with the old school red or green day, well mostly red actually!

FairLadyRantALot · 14/01/2009 21:25

I know looby...BUT I was so good...and I had to gains (over the x-mas/new year perios) , so, expected me being good to be rewarded with a good loss. I think it is just, that generally it is such a slow slog this time...when I did it last time I lost the weight so easily and this time it's just dragging along slaggishly slow, iykwim!

oh, I usually count my syns weekley, but try to stick near the 70 syns per week (i.e. 10 a day), works better for me...

FairLadyRantALot · 14/01/2009 21:25

better as in...fits better in with my lifestyle and drinking habits

Tommy · 14/01/2009 22:31

"lite" mayo is fine loobyt - I always put a miniscule amount of chilli relish or pesto or something with it to spice it up a bit if I find it too bland. I think the extra lite stuff is practically free.

I had spanish omelette with potatoes, peppers, mushrooms, tomato and a HE of cheese with baked beans for lunch and a veggie chilli with rice for tea - and I haven't even eaten any of the DSs' leftovers.

That and the run I went on is making me feel a bit smug...

sugarlumps · 15/01/2009 08:02

weight loss seems to have slowed loads since last week, but what can i expect? lol seem to have stayed the same since mondays weigh in but im hoping for a 2-3llb loss this week!

im gonna have to be extra good!

Ive gott my long shift at work today - 13 hours!!!! so im just planning my food for the day!
im thinking jacket with beans for lunch
and tesco value noodles with added veg any soy sauce for tea 1.5 syns

im just hoping nonf of the deliscious smells that come from the kitchen will tempt me!

FairLadyRantALot · 15/01/2009 17:41

Hi all,
