17k steps @10kstepsaday . That's fantabulous. Great catch up.
'Batwings be gone' 😁. They better be gone. There is a reason we work to make sure we are hitting 10K steps minimum a day. @Joolly2 , i am betting on your new weights, for batwings vs new weights. You have got this. The gardening and weeding definitely helps.
@WorthySloth , how did it go? I trust your procedure was alright. There is no shame in not hitting 10k steps. We are only human, there are lots of things we can't control. Steps-wise, you are great at catching-up. Do not force it, if you are not up to it. Sometimes our body needs rest.
I find that with rest (though i don't usually like it. I feel like i am failing), my body has a good recovery and i feel stronger afterwards.
@Clearingaspace , it's interesting isn't it. Once you get used to counting steps you start to have a fairly good idea of where you are steps wise.
My steps:
Monday - 11,651 + 25 mins core & legs workout
Tuesday- 14,525
Yesterday- 14,248 + 30 mins strength training
I am finding being back at work is really tiring me out and i am not as good at juggling everything as I used to be - housework, kids & all their constantly changing stuff, work, errands/admin, my health (keeping healthy), my family (parent & siblings), friends (& their stuff) etc.
While i was off-sick, it seemed I suddenly had space & time. Now, i am back to work, everyone seems to take it that 'yay! back to normality and I am getting a sudden influx of A LOT of stuff'.
I think I just need time, i will get back in to the swing of things.
Have a lovely day, everyone.
