uh oh..ive scared everyone off again.
off to playgroup now...have a good day

Cheers bottle. I have been very good so far today. I've found that if I have gone off the diet, I weigh myself immediately afterwards - prob not very wise but it works for me. It gives me a good jolt and makes me get back into line straight away, instead of feeling miserable about going off the diet and not weighing myself for ages only to find I've put on a stone!! I am doing my own thing really, loosely based on the 'You are what you eat' diet so am trying to food-combine. It does work though (not when you eat chocolate pudding and mince pies...) and I feel much healthier for it. Wow - loads of lemon and water! Your insides must be sparkling lol!!! I really love it now. And it is great for a sore throat too!

Eves - first thing in the morning I have a cup of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon in it. It really sets me up for the day - a bit psychological really but it helps me get off to a good start. Try to have it half an hour before any food. It also cleans out your system. I have it last thing at night too.

Hello everyone! I never seem to get on this thread and actually talk to anyone. Never mind, I will keep trying! Managed to lose 1.5lbs on my first week - not brilliant as struggled to stick to the plan but as you all seem to be saying, a small loss regularly is better than a lot so am determined to get well on track. Is anybody there? Could really do with the support.

Loobz · 17/01/2005 18:38

I've had a crap afternoon at work and have been into the chocolates. I am pre-menstrual and have really let these two ar**holes at work get to me with their supposedly 'funny' comments (see earlier on in thread). I wish I knew what it is with some men that they think they have the right to make personal comments then expect you not to be upset because 'it was only a joke'.
Am trying to do some damage limitation and be good from here on in. Don't get weighes till Thursday so hopefully can salvage something. So fed up I could cry.

Congratulations on the loss Yorkiegirl - that's fabulous! I still haven't made it back to the gym. I've said I'll start back properly when I feel 100% ... I think it will be February at this rate!

Loobz · 18/01/2005 07:57

That's great Yorkie! Hope your mouth heals quickly too.
Am feeling so much more positive today so woe betide these two RSholes if they start again today. Loobz is on a mission!!!

WigWamBam · 18/01/2005 09:41

i am still doing well, having been a previous atkins dieter just cannot face it again i think i ate too many eggs [yuk emoticon], but it was the only thing that ever worked for me so did not have much faith that gi diet/you are what you eat eating would work for me but it seems to be

Fennel · 18/01/2005 10:15

Yorkiegirl - that must have been a heavy tooth! but a bit drastic as a form of weight loss.
