Hi everyone,

I joined WW last week and have been trying the noCount Plan. I will stick with it until wednesday when I get weighed, but I think i will switch to the Full choice plan.

miam · 17/01/2005 10:40

Hi there MB and everyone else.

My halo is very very tarnished.... Had visitors on Saturday and I went mad. Had tagliatelli then chocolate pudding and double cream, then too many wines, then a box of revels, then 2 mince pies..... Have put on 2lbs unsurprisingly. But, I loved every minute and the occasional treat is allowed (says she trying to justify her gluttony). Back onto being strict again. Have had fruit for brekkie so am on the right track.

Evesmama · 17/01/2005 10:55

lost another pound this week, am happy with that as if i hadnt been watching my eating it would have been that and more on plus AF's visiting so am hoping to see a bigger difference next week?

had bowl of clusters for brekkie and am having a ham, cheese and salad sarnie with dd now with a slither of hellmans light mayo on.

Loobz - know what you mean about the height/weight thing, my original aim was to get to my pre-birth 10 stone 7lb, but that's still above the maximum weight for my height . I should really aim at 10 stone I suppose, but it's a shame that's still at the upper end of the weight range, as it doesn't give much leeway. Looks like there are few more of us shorties on here though.

Scaltygirl - I had similar experience to you yesterday, promised to make biscuits with dd. I did choose a flapjack recipe from my lowfat book, which said if I cut them into 12 then it was only 160 calories per flapjack, but they're so small! I was good and only had 1, but there's a whole plateful of them left now - soooo tempting! Maybe if I was doing the GI diet I could eat more as I'm sure oats are low GI (or high, whichever is better) I also made a low fat pudding from the book for dh and me - a creme brulee, although they were 260 calories each and I had to make 4 (couldn't possibly halve the recipe). Not sure low fat counts when they are so high in calories, but never mind.

I am back on the weight-monitoring - I lost 16lb of baby-weight before christmas and have 16lb to go to get back to pre-dd3 weight. I'm clearly too lazy for this thread as aiming for a measly 1lb a week loss and am currently just pleased that I haven't put on weight over the last month or two. suspect my standards are too low.

Evesmama · 17/01/2005 11:30

but a pound a week is over 5st in a year? so its an ideal amount to set as a goal and is realistic..good luck

monkeygirl · 17/01/2005 11:33

Can I join this thread too please? I am an XXXL weeble and need to decrease my wobble-factor .

Yorkiegirl - do we email you with our stats then?

Evesmama · 17/01/2005 11:37

well of course you can...you've just welcomed me to the other one

monkeygirl · 17/01/2005 11:42

Like I said, I am stalking you .

WigWamBam · 17/01/2005 11:42

Fennel - the usual recommendation is that you only lose 1 - 2 pounds a week, so if you can maintain a 1lb a week loss then that's great - it's not lazy, it's a steady weight loss to aim for.

Fennel · 17/01/2005 11:45

how many weight-loss threads is everyone on?!

WigWamBam · 17/01/2005 11:45

I'm only on this one!

bottle · 17/01/2005 11:46

hi everyone having a goodish day so far, porridge and 3 bread so far - got a v stressful day so hoping not to lapse, my weigh day will be friday and i am hoping for 12.2 or thereabouts

agree one pound a week is very realistic

miam hope you get back on the wagon but at least you enjoyed yourself - i have found for me that is the key to overindulgence if i beat myself up i tend to eat more if i say good, fine that was yummy it helps me get back on track - you have really motivated me - what diet are you doing?
your lemon and water tip is great we are consuming vast quantities of them

monkeygirl · 17/01/2005 11:46

Evesmama · 17/01/2005 11:48
