well done yorkie, you're doing brilliently
i had a good day yesterday and have started well today...am 'in that frame on mind' at the minute, so am holding on to this thought for dear life!
am sssoooooooooo fed up of being fatthis time has 'got' to be 'the one!!!'

monkeygirl · 18/01/2005 10:51

EM - stalk stalk

Well done Yorkiegirl - and ouch! What diet are you doing?

Can someone please tell me what details I should email to YG?

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:01

think yorkie just needs email address, weight, and loss or gain each week
when are you getting weighed hun?
we've decided that as we cant get to a gym or anything together 9no help with dd), were gonna buy an excersize bike at weekend...so if my posts get wobbly...you know why..ill be on my bike

monkeygirl · 18/01/2005 11:06

Thanks EM - I do my weighing in bathroom on a Monday morning.

I'd really love to go to the gym (yes really, I actually like it!) but can't afford it atm as am a SAHM and the creche fees really make it much too expensive. Bike is v good idea and even better if your dp/dh is 'doing' it with you, so to speak.

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:09

same here! so how did you do then?

is it just me or does being a sahm make it harder to slim?if i was working and could only have allocated breaks, i think id could do better but because im at home and attatched my elastic to the fridge, im always in the kitchen!, just glad i made extra spag bol last night so i dont munch!

sanchpanch · 18/01/2005 11:27

i agree with you, i am at home today as dd1 is poorly and i havent stopped eating, i normally work til 1 then pick dd2 up from nursery then i have 2 hours to get everything done before we pick dd1 up from school,
I think if i was at home all the time i wouldnt be able to leave the house, as i would grow so big!!!
i am with you evesmamma, this is the last time i am dieting at ww, i am fed up of being fat and unable to enjoy my children to there full potential, running round with them etc

miam · 18/01/2005 11:30

Everyone is so motivated!! It is really great - this is the last year we will ever need to lose weight. We should have a national meet-up this time next year to show off how well we will have done!!

monkeygirl · 18/01/2005 11:32

lost 1 lb which was ok considering I was v bad for 2 days. Yes being at home doesn't help as I seem to be permanently in the kitchen and can't resist picking at something each time. Also it's been too wet and cold to go to park etc...excuses, excuses

sanchpanch · 18/01/2005 11:33

yeah it is great, i have got two things keeping me motivated, first ne is i am running the race for life, and 2nd is i am organising my boyfriend a massive 30th bday bash in may, and there is no way i am wearing an out fit from evans, (no offence but i am sick of going in there for my clothes)

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:33

thereis a really motivated buzz going around here isnt there!, im so glad i came on here now as although its given me and dp something to talk about, i dont want to tell my rl friends/family im slimming, so having you lot around here is giving me a sack load of encouragement

monkeygirl · 18/01/2005 11:37

God, not having to go to Evans is one of my motivating forces!

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:38

i lost 1lb too hun..better of than on and a realistic amount..1lb a week..over 5 st by this time next year..and we're not starving ourselves are we!
i know what you mean about evans sanchpatch, i want to go to a normal shop, one where i dont have to go right to the back for the 'big ladies' section and buy things i like , instead of 'anything' that fits..im 27, yet i really feel much older and frumpy isnt the word
but we're on the right road now ar'nt we

BethAndHerBrood · 18/01/2005 11:44

God! I loathe evans, With a passion!!!Why is it they dont realise if you're a bit bigger, you want tops that cover you up, not that stop at your waist (if you had one). Drives me nuts!!

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:54

i know, they just hang round your waist making your(i mean 'my') bum and belly look more emphasisized!!!! argh, and why are most 'bigger' clothes made from lycra???

BethAndHerBrood · 18/01/2005 12:10

Lycra - material of satan!!!

BethAndHerBrood · 18/01/2005 12:15

I've just had a huge plate of bacon, scrambled eggs and tomatoes! YumYum!!

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 13:03

just put dd down for nap, cleaned bathroom, hooverd living room, dining room hall and kitchen, made fence repair man cup of coffee and washed landing and kitchen floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!how many calories will that have burnt off????

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 13:33

beth..how is your hubby after the other night?

BethAndHerBrood · 18/01/2005 16:08

You are so sweet to remember, evesmama, he's "bearing up"! Apparently the police think the burglars were in the house when he got there, and they legged it out the back when he went in the front. Scary!! I don't know how the police know this, but i'm sure they know what they're on about!! Thanks for asking, bet you wish you hadn't bothered now!!! God, i do ramble!!!

Gald you're feeling better yorkiegirl! well done on the evans card chopping up!! That takes courage!Where will you be shopping now?

marj · 18/01/2005 17:01

Congrats on your loss Yorkiegirl! 3.5lbs is brilliant! I know what you all mean about the Evans thing. I am 31 and feel as if I should be 61 when I look at the clothes in there. Getting a lot of inspiration from everyone, maybe this will be my year?

BethAndHerBrood · 18/01/2005 17:56

I'm following s.w. and am having a red day today. my evening meal is a piece of lamb, but a bit stuck otherwise!Bit bored by salad, not sure what else i've got! Could be interesting.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 18/01/2005 18:04
