Can I join please?

Puddle
9 8 at the moment
Aim is 9
I'm 5ft 6

Weakness - wine in the evenings, green and blacks butterscotch chocolate. Luckily all kids Xmas chocolate gone (onto my waitline mainly).
On the plus side....I've just done two alcohol free days which has really tested will power. And I went to the gym last night.

emmaTooMuchGrub · 10/01/2005 10:59

Emma

5' 4"

Start 9st 5lbs
This AM 9st 3lbs

Aim: not really got one. Just NEED to eat more healthily as diet was appalling. Any weight loss a bonus.

Weakness: Bread.

MR Emma.

5' 6" (and a little bit)
Start: 11st 12lbs
this Am: 11st 10lbs

Aim: 11st.

Weakness: Food in general, he hate to see anything wasted so eats all the kids left overs. No exercise either, sits on bum all day looking at 2 straight lines(train driver) so that a weakness too.

Furball · 10/01/2005 11:02

Furball

5' 6'' ish

Start 11st 12 lb
Now 11st 8 lb

aim = 10st 7lb

Doing me own 'healthy' eating. Started jogging today. OK then a mixture of jogging and power walking (it was my first day!) managed 2 miles.

crunchie · 10/01/2005 11:10

OK I am shame faced

Started 12st 1lb
was 11 st 11 lbs (on sunday)
Then got AF this morning and now 11st 13 lbs

However I have 5 days until my sking holiday so I want to be 11st 10 lbs by then, and 11 st 7lbs by end Jan (allowing for holiday)

I will be eating potatoes (sorry COD) but I am vegetarian and can't do without, they seem better for me than wheat which I am trying to eat only 2 nights this week. No bread, no problem! Only one bottle of wine (dh had one glass) this weekend

My weakness is evenings, so I have to do loads of chopped veggies ready for nibbling. One tip is Oatcakes instead of bread

crunchie · 10/01/2005 11:12

Oh and power walking 1/2 hr at lunchtime to get fit in time !!!

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 10/01/2005 12:28

wwww
Not giving weights
Target, dunno, size 12/14
Weaknesses are wine, bread/butter, crackling on pork, the skin of the chicken, garlic bread, duck in hoisin sauce, pizza express pizza, Indian food, chocolate.
But I have given them all up now.

tortoiseshell · 10/01/2005 12:31

Can I join in as well please? No idea what I weigh - but definitely too much! Weaknesses - bread, peanut butter, wine, cheese. Would like to get back down to a size 12 really.

lowcalCOD · 10/01/2005 12:32

Why do we need digital scales don't normal scales count?! I am planning to weigh once a week on super-duper gym scales (which helpfully tell you your weight plus whether you are overweight or not!)

miggy · 10/01/2005 13:02

Have ordered dig scales-avon has special offer at moment red to £20 from £40 if you spend £8.
Do you porridge eaters eat it plain? I know its great etc but cant stand it without sugar and that would defeat the object wouldnt it?

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 10/01/2005 13:10

Hey! Cod I havent put on weight, I have lost nearly 6 pounds do you mind, I should be your star pupil.

((still having baked sweet potato tonight though))

puddle · 10/01/2005 13:12

Enid have you lost 6 lbs in a week? that's amazing well done.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 10/01/2005 13:22

Yes almost - although I did have AF in the middle of it so may have lost a couple of pounds through that, although was weighing 11 5/11 6 quite consistently through December .

I have been really good though, no wine except under Coddys say-so [beam, goody goody icon]
