I have no idea what to have for lunch - might involve rye bread is that allowed Cod?

puddle · 13/01/2005 12:29

Rye bread with hemp in fact.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 13/01/2005 12:41

well the scales momentarily showed 10:13 this am then finally settled on 11.

porridge
banana
handful roasted seeds
homemade spicy butternut squash soup

tonight: veg curry or lamb in pittas, havent decided yet, depends on dh.

bought and read Heat (urgh I feel dirty) and after being mesmerised by the shaming pix of Sadie Frost read the article. she says you can have bread at lunchtime! And drink!

lowcalCOD · 13/01/2005 12:41

no bread for me
but eat iot if you insist!

Right, the home-made minestrone soup is on the hob simmering - I'm not going to put any pasta or cheese in it though.

So far today I've eaten a bowl of museli and an apple and a few carrot batons whilst making the soup

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 13/01/2005 12:43

dont want bread - feel much better and tum much flatter without it.

iota · 13/01/2005 12:55

Had a Tesco's delivery this moring and they substituted a small Warburtons seeded batch and sent us a large one - how cruel is that?

Am hiding - bad greedy porker gone back up to 9.13
KFC for tea last night but no lunch and still no wine.

iota · 13/01/2005 14:43

kfc??? I hope you took the skin off

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 13/01/2005 15:27

KFC!!! What were you thinking?! Cods, anyone, are rice cakes carbs? Is that a spectacularly stupid question? I suppose they are aren't they? Enid, Sadie pics were mesmerising indeed. Cods, I realised the diet IS in there, I was just sidetracked by all the celeb gossip and skimmed past it

FineFigureFio · 13/01/2005 15:32

for two peices of chicken at KFC, it is 5 or 6 points, so not that bad if you dont have chips

emmaTooMuchGrub · 13/01/2005 16:10

Oh no........I forgot my homework!!!

Feel like I've eaten loads of today. All good stuff but loads of it. Had to avoid shop on way home from school as I'm not sure I could have resisited the chocolate.

Today so far-

Brekky-1 manderin yog, 1 banana, 1 kiwi fruit.

Lunch-very small portion of cous-cous with veg.(Very small amount,it was meant for ds3 so a child size portion that he ate half of) 1 raspberry yog. 2 slices of fruity malt loaf.

Mid afternoon-1 apple, another yoghurt, apple and rasin cripsy things.

feeling hungry now....dinner will be chicken casserole with carrots, parships, swede, spuds and mushrooms.

Not sure if I'll make it thought the day without eating something bad..........PMT kicking in bigtime

crunchie · 13/01/2005 16:15

C*P C*P day yesterday, and I mean truely crap So bad I can't even admit it out loud.

However it was JUST ONE DAY in the scheme of things, and today I managed to put it behind me So far I have had freshly squeezed apple/grapefruit juice, 1 skinny latte (milk allowence) M&S chilli prawn noodle salad (about 400 cals), 1 banana (100 cals). Tonight I have prawn curry (280 cals) as a penance no rice However I will fry leeks as a kind of side dish (spray oil) and have veggie sticks if still hungry. So I am back in control.

Hopefully by Sat am I will be 11st 10lbs, that's all I want prior to my holiday

crunchie · 13/01/2005 16:20

OOH I have found a way to have wine!

M&S do mini bottles called 'Just a Taste' with 10cl (v little glass, but their calorie content is 66 for the white wine and 68 for the red. So If desparate it is better than a big bottle!!

vileandputridCOD · 13/01/2005 16:35

ooh thats a good tip crinch

no idea bout rice cakes

It is easier to be virtuous at work than at home.
I am off to clear out the cupboards of evil temptations.
