digestion much better with no bread.

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 15:25

I have one per day - 80% sylimarin (??) (active ingredient in Milk thistle) 300mg capsule. I think the ecommended dose is 200 to 400 mg per day, so it depends on the strength of the capsules.

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 15:27

dinosaur · 11/01/2005 15:27

Oh dear I have sinned then, had pasta for dinner last night at about 8.30 p.m. Bugger.

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 15:30

I prefer to do bread or carbs at dinner/ teatime - that way I don't crave food at evil hours between 8pm to bedtime.

I know "they say" its wrong, but I reckon if you dont pile your plate high with rice / pasta / or spuds it should be fine.

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 15:31

dino, late night carbs required for early morning shagging IMO

FineFigureFio · 11/01/2005 15:33

well we dont have tea till 8-8.30pm and no early morning shagging as my dh isnt here

lowcalCOD · 11/01/2005 16:44

Fio, I'm taking one milk thistle tablet as it's a one a day type from Boots. And I am a saint: have just made Wonka's scrumptious chocolate whipple mallow delight with ds from the Roald Dahl Revolting Recipe book, which involved a lot of butter, cream, chocolate and marshmallows and I only ate 2 marshmallows = 46 cals.

(does lunchtime shagging count? )

iota · 11/01/2005 17:01

wwww - are you shagging someone at work in your lunch-hour?

FineFigureFio · 11/01/2005 17:03

lol www! I would have to shag a passing postman or something

Lowryn · 11/01/2005 17:04

No bread for lunchtime is a killer! I am starving and have had to steal my DS's rice cake!

emmaTooMuchGrub · 11/01/2005 17:05

Can't remeber all of yesterdays grub.

Nothing high fat though, had cereal as I couldn't be bothered to cook for just me (DH on late shift this week).

Small hic-cup with some crumpets last night. Fora light on them though.....but with jam.

As punishment I have eating very little today so far. Salmon for dinner, will report later.

lowcalCOD · 11/01/2005 17:07

you get used to the noe bread really
please why is htis about sex?

OP posts:
iota · 11/01/2005 17:10

I hope you're steering clear of the crips at the moment Cod

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 11/01/2005 17:11

Sorry, no, re lunch times, am at home with dp!

(Coddy, miss, dinosaur started it, talking about sex, I just joined in.)

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 11/01/2005 17:12

Emma, crumpets aren't too bad! IIRC about 60 cals each. It's what you put on them that makes them high cal usually.

gingerbear · 11/01/2005 17:28

Coddy sex = exercisewe all know how important that is. will look up points/cals burned value in WW booklet

lowcalCOD · 11/01/2005 17:29

from sex to crumpet - gawd ouy know how to tempt us!

re, crumpets years ago t he ww book used to say " Butter - 1 pt" or whatever, " butter on crumpets 72 points"
exaggag a littel but not much!

Coddy - Confession time
I have been eating bread and potatoes but have been exercising and cutting out snacks and wine.
For example today I had
2 pikelets (thin crumpets) with a bit of butter
Did an hours exercise in the gym, mainly wieghts
Had 1 special k bar
Bowl of soup with ciabatta bread
1 Ryvita with raisins
1 apple
1 orange
1 banana
slice of melon
Dinner will be Southern fried chicken, cous cous and sweetcorn
One last thing plenty of sexercise
Had to substitue the wine with something
Is that okay???

emmaTooMuchGrub · 11/01/2005 19:51

Evening all!

Ok today I missed brekky as didn't have time. Long boring story that I just typed out and thought "who the F*ck wants to know that!!" so deleted it.

Faffed about at lunch and had cereal then. S.S milk.

Confession=I ate the crust from Ds's toast, and a few bits of soggy bakked bean soaked toast too.....and it had butter on it. But I didn't especially enjoy it, so have a handy tip.

Dinner was stir fry with salmon steaks....or were they fillets(can never tell which is which) and a raspberry low fat yoghurt.

3 cups of tea, 1 orange squash, 1 diet coke.

Oh also had some grapes earlier too.

Apart from the crusts etc today I haven't eaten bread in about a week. My stomach looks so different, still not flat but flatter. I don't feel bloated and heavy at all.

And...and...AND.....I haven't had a single morsel of chocolate....not even a sniff. And I don't even miss or want it. I didn't even have a biccie at playgroup this AM..........I am a new woman

Dh is at work so will up date you for his tomorrow. De did say the scales read 11st 8lb this AM though. Ba$tard!
