Tomorrow is a new month and I am ready to LOSE. I have a holiday in 2 months and I want to feel great. I probably have 10kg to lose.

Who's also feeling ready to get lean and healthy?

I personally love sharing "what I ate today" for accountability. So will do that everyday along with my total steps and calorie intake.

My starter daily goals are 8k steps a day and 1700 calories. Personally won't be weighing myself but feel free to post your goal weights and progress.

Feeling fired up and ready.

WHO IS WITH ME??!!!

That's great @LuckyPlant ! I'm sure you'll rock your dress, have a lovely time.

@wefly hope you got some more sleep last night. Well done on the gym session!

I overdid the exercise in my poorly state yesterday so feel worse today... so taking it easy and have planned a health dinner. You win some, you lose some!

KillersQueen · 25/07/2024 13:57

@moosey89 how are you getting on? Hope you've managed to find a groove again.

moosey89 · 25/07/2024 17:02

@KillersQueen thanks for checking in - I'm doing better, not totally back to being on track, but much better than I was thanks. I'm struggling with life overall right now with the miscarriages, infertility, financial worries and job stress, so my head is in a really bad place. I've never tried to lose weight in a bad headspace before, and it's definitely harder! So I need to just try to be nicer to myself. I also can't currently run or walk for long distances (which would usually be both exercise and stress relief for me!) as I've got chronic heel pain, definitely not helping!

Finally I've have a good day of eating...

Bfast - porridge with fruit

Lunch - spinach, avocado and chicken salad

Snack - healthy brownie and sugar free ice lolly

Dinner - rice salmon greens

Snack- yoghurt with raisins berries and cashews

@moosey89 it's definitely much harder when you've got lots of other things going on, hopefully this thread is helping a bit

@wefly well done! 👏

I was just about to go for a walk and it has started raining... oh well! Did a strength class this morning though so feeling good about that.

Hope everyone else is having a good Friday!

Trying to finish strong last few days of the money month as last week was write off. Lack of sleep is the worse

Still, 3.6kg down so far I am very happy with the month and I maybe I needed the pause as my goal is about 3kg a month.

Got back from holiday yesterday and I'm actually feeling pretty good, I didn't eat too much junk though I had an ice cream most days. Also walked loads every day and swam most days. Today I'm going to try to get back to routine, do some weights and cut carbs. I will definitely need to try to keep losing weight and toning up for August as well, but I'm happy with where I am for now.

Haven't been very good at keeping accountable on here 😬 I'm on holiday this week and I don't want to have to count calories and miss out on treats so I'm just taking the week off and getting back to it from Saturday when we are back home!
