Right. It's a fresh start for me. I've joined Slimming World for the 5th time back in August of last year. Didn't do too badly up until Christmas but since then I've been dreadful.
Just had my weigh in tonight and had a huge weight again over two weeks - missed weigh in last week. The small amount of weight I have lost since August last year is very quickly creeping back on again and I have to do something about it now.
Tomorrow is my new start. I have my food diary at the ready.

sorry NA - I don't know

nappyaddict · 28/04/2008 14:45

maybe i'll just go to the shops lol.

Interestingly I have just realised the low fat yoghurt I normally buy is in fact not syn free!! It's the tesco healthy living low fat natural one. Apparently it's only the tesco healthy living bio yoghurt that is syn free. We also buy the Yeo Valley fat free one, Rachel's Organic Bio-live Natural Low Fat Yogurt, and Danone Activia - both of whicy are syn free luckily. Does anyone know if the Rachel's Organic Fat Free Probiotic Bio-live Natural Set Yogurt is free - can't find it on syns online but I might have missed it.

nappyaddict · 28/04/2008 14:53

also the tesco low fat natural set yogurt and the tesco light choices bio yogurt is syn free.

WI tonight, lost 1lb - phew! Had two bad days last week so glad about that. I have so far celebrated with 4 chocolate digestives and 2 jammie dodgers......not very clever really I know.

We also got the wii fit today which kindly informed me this morning that my metabolic age is 45!! I am 28 so this is pretty harsh but I've done it again and it said 32 which is much more easier to accept

I keep forgetting to get the new PW - anyone catch the new one?? Cheers

Hmmm what other treats can I have this eve .

DP has man-flu big time so gotta have something to get me through it!

BouncingTurtle · 28/04/2008 18:42

Well done sticktoit!!

I have made some vegetable soup, can I freeze it? It is just some carrots, leeks, parnsip and celery cooked with a couple of stock cubes and then blended.

toadette · 28/04/2008 18:42

Well done, sticktoit

I don't know this week's password yet but last week's one (pudding??) should still work. I'm waiting (im)patiently for dh and ds1 to return from shops with our new wii hopefully. Can't wait

Btw, SWlurker...don't worry about the weekend, let's start afresh again this week (I have even joined the wino thread again)

toadette · 28/04/2008 18:43

Hi BT, should be fine to freeze the soup

WallOfSilence · 28/04/2008 19:29

Hi all

Well done STI!!

I have been working all day & am knackered. Dh is making pasta with a bacon sauce & garlic bread I shall try & limit the GB though as it's delicious!!

I've not had much to eat all day as I had an exam this morning & then had to go into work... so have had a banana & 2 oranges!!!

nappyaddict · 28/04/2008 23:43

does anyone know how i can find out syn values of things from certain restaurants?

WallOfSilence · 29/04/2008 00:23

Buy a book?

Some restaurant options are in the books sold at the SW meetings.

nappyaddict · 29/04/2008 01:34

i want to find out how many syns the pasta is on the salad cart at the harvester and also the different dressings. does anyone knows if that's in the book?

nikkid21 · 29/04/2008 08:12

Have been sticking to the plan all week apart from a blip on Friday so want to do well tonight. Have 3lb to target and 1.5lb to my 2st award. However sods law has just put an appearance in and my star week just started

Tommy · 29/04/2008 08:21

well i just had beetroot risotto with the yoghurt and chives on top. very yummy!

nikkid21 · 29/04/2008 13:26

let us eat cake - YOU MUST GO TO CLASS !!!!

Seriously - you don't know how much your scales differ to the ones at your class. If you don't go you are paying £4.50 for the priviledge of staying at home feeling guilty. Go to class, commit to a mini target for next week and then ask for a sas log. It helps you to see where you are sabotaging yourself.

Good luck

toadette · 29/04/2008 13:27

Letus, GO to the class

Sometimes the best losses are the week after being very bad as the need to redeem oneself is very motivating!

sticktoit · 29/04/2008 13:28

letuseatcake - go to class, go to class, go to class!

You will feel better for going even if there is a little gain.

Just had smash and a tin of spaghetti?? Not bad though!

toadette · 29/04/2008 13:29

Ha, ha, ha...talk about peer pressure

nappyaddict · 29/04/2008 13:29

can i have rice as a HEb on an original day? i thought you could but looked on the website and it doesn't seem to be included as a healthy extra on there.

Furball · 29/04/2008 13:35

NA - No you can't.

toadette · 29/04/2008 13:36

No, you can't have rice as HE on original, nappyaddict. I thought you could as well until Furball pointed out that it's not actually on the list!

toadette · 29/04/2008 13:38

Hi furball, how's the running going?

Furball · 29/04/2008 13:42

it ain't! I've got a chesty cough, real gribbly one from somewhere, so haven't been for over a week but I'm saying sod it, it will make or break me and maybe soak me with the rain, but hey ho - I am deffo going tonight. Even if it's just for 3 or 4K.

What about you?
