Wegovy started week ago

First week weight in ,loss of 4 pound ,pleased with that as not found difficult
Now started second week hoping for same ,at present no side effects ,keep you updated.

Fab! I think I have more than four doses then in the pen - some ppl say there are as many as eight doses in one pen

@Tailfeather ive also reached the point of feeling starving…5 days in so definitely worn off. Although I don’t really have an appetite still, albeit starving, I’m quite happy to fill it with anything boring and bland rather than what od normally go for eg calories!!!

Have you weighed yet?

Hi I would really like and need to start Wegovy or Ozempic but I'm struggling to find them anywhere in stock online. Can anyone recommend anywhere that has it in stock?

I'll weigh tomorrow morning as weighed last Monday morning. Just took dose 2. I was starving all day! I went out for lunch. Tried to be good, so ordered a salad....but then had a pudding as I was really hungry. Hope I haven't undone the first 5 day's good work.

I've been flowing a few people on TikTok who have forced home the importance of trusting the titration and that some people don't lose on 0.25, but you need to persevere to the higher doses.

Have you tried pharmacy2u and chemist4u?

Thank you @Tailfeather I tried them last night and it wouldn't go through, it has worked with Chemist 4 u this morning so fingers crossed my order goes through.

I can't wait to get started. It's so expensive but worth it if it works. I tried Saxenda previously and lost 12lb in 6/8 weeks and the sickness put me off getting anymore but I've since regained 6lb so before it gets any worse I am starting with Wegovy to see if the sickness is any better!

@Tailfeather well done!! I was absolutely starving yesterday and had to have two meals. I’m feeling less hungry today so I’m taking my second jab tonight and will weigh in morning.
Persevering until bigger doses too as I’ve read and heard the same - I’m happy with 1-2lb loss per week anyway - bigger numbers put too much pressure on me.

@Tailfeather it didn't really build it was just intermittent and I noticed my mood was really low, when the dose increased I had a terrible day of vomiting with Saxenda I really hope I don't get that with Wegovy!

im not going to lie, i think ive mentioned i started at an odd time, but im home and i think i'm doing well. I'm not liking the side effects and have decided to have a 2nd pen at the .25mg dose before moving up. i take my 3rd dose tomorrow but my weight loss from day 1 to today which will be day 13 has been about 9lbs.. i've most definately not been hungry.. i have most definately not been eating my calories and i have been unwell which might account for some of it i guess. we should not be starving ourselves, we should be using this along with a blanced diet and exercise, calorie counting, not simply expecting it to melt away the pounds and make us starve

-2lb loss for me after week 1.
Happy with that as I’ve had my big ‘water weight’ losses pre Wegovy.

I also injected into my belly this time - much better experience than the upper arm!! Although it did sting for a while after but not as bad as the arm!

Day 18 and 11lbs/5kg down (a lot to go still though but met my first goal 😀) so am delighted!! I am sticking to 1200 calories now too which helps I think.

@EweCee thats great! Congrats on hitting your first goal! I’m about 6lb off my first goal, so hopefully in a couple of weeks :)

I’m due my second injection tomorrow and definitely feel this is working. I’m still calorie counting but tbh it’s pretty easy as I’m not sure the last time I felt real hunger. Weigh in tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes.

Can I ask .. those who got theirs from boots did you get a sharps box ?

I have just put my used ones back in the box as I know you can’t dispose of them in a bin

@Starlightstarbright2 they offered me one when I picked up from Boots but I already had one. I’m not sure if had to purchase or not. I got mine off Amazon for £1.99.

Getting bit concerned on week 6 and seems like I've started loosing my hair ,is it happening to any one else

@Dynasty73 Oh no! How much? I've heard this can happen.

How much hair is coming out? And how much weight have you lost? Do you think it's malnutrition?
