Wegovy started week ago

First week weight in ,loss of 4 pound ,pleased with that as not found difficult
Now started second week hoping for same ,at present no side effects ,keep you updated.

i ordered my first round from boots .25mg, took my first dose last tuesday, im afraid i can't say if the pen is responsible for this weeks 5lb weight loss as the following day i was admitted to hospital with a suspected stroke!! (nothing to do with the pen i might add). Thankfully after a 5 day stay i am home, with the diagnosis of migraine and a prescription of topiromate... but i'll let you know how i get on this week

I said I was giving up Wegovy after my next pen due to cost but I discovered that pharmacy2u have slightly lowered their prices and I found a 10% discount code. So I've ordered 1 more pen. £155 including delivery for 1mg. Not bad!

That’s a really good price! I can see why you were tempted to order again.

Im on my second injection, well yesterday was, I’ve done Ozempic and saxenda before but the daily injection with saxenda ended with me having raised hives/bruises where I injected which wasn’t great.

Also considering ordering via that pharmacy 2u site but I don’t need any for another fortnight so will wait a bit. Probably need to decide where I want to order from and stick with it. It’s hard to compare prices as you really need to submit a ton of details on the forms first!

Boots offer 10% off but that still only brings it down to £180 .. hopefully there is a price war - that would help 😊

Taken my 3rd .25 injection today and just tried to order .5 from Chemist4u and it says available but won’t let me select anything? Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks @Tailfeather I hadn't but now have. It doesn't make sense you have to begin a completely new consultation again to get the next some!! Anyhow, have done it now and am waiting to see if they will prescribe it, sigh....

I thought the same! I thought there'd just be a 'repeat prescription' bit in my account.

Just joining this thread to ask if Pharmacy2U let your GP know you have ordered? I'd rather not share this with my GP. I've filled in info about my Dr but there's no mention that they inform them.

@Pushkinini Chemist4u do inform your GP, but I'm very happy with that. I'd like it on record in case anything happens, say if I got hit by a bus and rushed to hospital and they need to know what medication I'm on...! Why don't you want your GP to know?

I asked this Q of Pharmacy2u and received a reply earlier this week that they DON’T inform the GP when ordering a private prescription.

Just checking in - took my 3rd 0.25 injection last night and weight this morning is 4.2kg (9.2lbs) down in 15 days! I am delighted 😊 I did start calorie counting to be 1200 calories a day in the the 2nd week which helps too. Now only 20kgs to go.....

Am taking my second injection today. The first definitely wore off by about weds. I have lost 2lbs so I guess it's heading the the right direction 🙂

@FattyPattyBumBum I'm on day 5 of my first one and am STAARVING!!!!

So what gives? Just injected week four of 0.25 and look at the pen - it's either not been working or it has nothing in it or it has loads left in it. Anyone got any suggestions??? For the record I've only lost like 2lb in three weeks

I've just signed up to boots and it's only giving me the option of orlistat or xenicol how do I get wegivy?

I was out last night meal and cocktails .. Ate probably a much bigger meal than I have most the week but didn’t eat much through the day either.

It may be out of stock or it may be not a time you can order . It only excepted orders for Weygovy between 8- 4 not sure if it was week days only

Oh! No idea, I haven't finished mine yet. Can you contact whoever you got it from? I know Ozempic had extra leftover and people were getting extra doses. Unsure about Wegovy.

Ozempic contains the same amount of 'fluid' in both the .25 and .5 pens. I bought some spare needles from our local pharmacy (around £7 for a hundred!) and used the remainder of the drug in the pen.

Funnily enough there was a small amount of 'extra' fluid in the .5 pen I finished yesterday, so I used that as well!
