@GracePalmer33 Thanks for posting - you're a week ahead of me, as I'm about to take my forth dose Sunday evening (12 hours early, as switching from Monday morning). So hearing about your experiences of going up to 0.5 is useful to me. I had wondered about taking 1.5 doses of 0.25 to bridge the gap, but think I will actually go the whole hog with the 0.5 in a week's time.
Regarding the burps, I've been reading everything I can about Wegovy and people report this is due to food being slow to digest in the gut, so you're getting gases from food which hasn't passed through your system yet and is basically sitting there fermenting. Raw vegetables (ie, salad) seems to be one of the causes as your stomach is taking its time to break it down. Try to stick to easy to digest food. No steak! Protein shakes are an option until it clears.
Have you had problems with indigestion? Remedies reduce the amount of stomach acid in your system and, I've not seen this mentioned elsewhere, but I would have thought if people are having problems digesting, then reducing a digesting acid can't be helping. Although, when indigestion is very painful, I reach for the antacid too.
Regarding the runs, I have had this occasionally with IBS. Whenever it happens, I take a single diarrhoea relief tablet (non-branded Immodium) and that sorts it. Again, this is the opposite of what you want if you've got a backup of non-digesting food. You can try adding fibre, but personally I would avoid anything which takes a while to digest (broccoli & cauliflower can be my enemy). Maybe a fibre supplement which mixes in water. Also, for a sore botty, I have used nappy rash cream in the past, but more recently have found Metanium Barrier Cream a more adult alternative.
