Weight loss for greedy fuckers

Hello, I'm starting a diet today.

The reason that I am fat is I am a greedy fucker with no self control. I massively over eat sweet things, mainly chocolate and cake. I have no cut off point unfortunately.

Just weighed myself and I am 11st 2.5lbs. I'm not very tall, 5'4 and every pound shows and hangs off my stomach and back.

Anyone care to join me?

I’m still plugging away but don’t seem to be achieving much. Off on hols tomorrow and have just made a giant slab of millionaires shortbread to take with us which hasn’t helped!

Millionaire shortbread does sound amazing ! I made rock cakes with the kids today - I did have half a one but I’m ok with that! Also no running today but aiming to go early doors tomorrow (let’s see how that pans out !) about to go out for dinner and I never see the point in ordering boring when going out !!

It's been a very long day here travelling home. I've had a snickers bar (breakfast), a meatball sub from alicante airport and am now having some parmentier potatoes for tea as I cannot face anything else and dh is cooking them.

Work tomorrow means back to no breakfast, a thin with philly and maybe ham along with lots of grapes. Then I'm having a kebab but it will be a shish kebab with salad and no pitta bread so pretty ok on cals.

Morning,

Braved the scales post holiday/period. Very pleased to see what ever holiday weight I may have gained is gone, plus I’m 1.6lbs down from my last weigh in before holiday. I’m really happy - and pleasantly surprised with that! Would have been happy to just break even and have got back to pre holiday weight so the extra 1.6 loss was a huge bonus and good motivation.

I’ve just managed a 9mi run (after a big meal out last night) and followed by a cinnamon bun so probably cancelled out !
weigh in tomorrow! Just need not to have regained back to my SW after holiday and ill
hopefully be able to stay on the wagon!

Also, this thread is seriously responsible for me fantasising about thick white buttered toast, millionaires shortbread and now cinnamon buns!!
Had a congratulatory sausage sarnie/roll thing and a frappe in costa for lunch. Had to go to the dentist and I bribed myself to go with the promise of a lunch pit stop afterwards 🙈

I appear to have put on lb for every one of the 5 days I was on holiday for!

I know some of that will disappear straight away when I go back to eating normally.

My food today was
No breakfast
Just over half of a supermarket chicken and stuffing sandwich. A rocky bar. :)
And our one payday takeaway we have a month. I went for a small shish kebab with no pitta bread but lots of red cabbage. V nice and I'm STUFFED.

I've been really good this week - lost 3.5lb! Really chuffed with myself. Today I've had one slice of cheese on toast (my slimming world extra a and b) then we went out for dinner and had a grilled chicken katsu curry (free rice and chicken, just syned the sauce). I'm doing intense studying for an exam this weekend so worried I'll fall off the wagon, I usually stress eat 🤦‍♀️

Ha I can add kebabs to my wish list now - I do think chicken shish kebab isn’t too bad though!!
Day at the cricket tomorrow (watching not playing!) so as long as manage to avoid all the fried delights and wine on offer should be ok!
one of the reasons I want to make some progress over the next month is to take a bit of strain off my joints for this charity half marathon I’ve committed to in early
october - surely I’ll be able to go so faster if I’m not lugging around all those extra pounds !!

Right you lovely lot.

I weighed in this morning at 65.7kg.

I was 63.7kg at the start of the summer holidays 😭.

We've got a day out at a theme park today so hopefully lots of walking and avoiding too much ice cream 😂 🐽

The only way is down from here (I know that's not true).

I weighed in yesterday at 64.6kg and I'm really happy with that.

Especially as I haven't been particularly motivated or disciplined!

Well done on some great results! I've had such a fab week, feeling really good about myself. I've lost 9.2lb in the last month, and made my first goal! Ultimate goal is another half stone away, but this is the least I've weighed in a really really long time. My visceral fat is the lowest I've ever recorded. Feel so happy that I'm finally on a diet that I can manage and is working ☺️

I haven’t been on here for a few days due to a hectic work pattern. I have been pretty good at saying no to wine and have now had three chocolate free days but still can’t face weighing myself. But today I dragged myself along to a Pilates class and decided to wear some leggings that I stopped wearing in the spring because they were feeling too tight (= my belly was really bulging in them) They fit beautifully now!!! Really comfortable! I’m really chuffed!!! I was going to treat myself to a glass of chilled white with dinner but now I’m going to resist!!

Guys you can do this. For all of you struggling…..Just put down the sugar/ carbs, seriously. I’ve lost 5 stone in 5 months, I’m 49 and had been really fat for about five years. Going back to school tomorrow size 10s!

Omg you are my people. I just can’t stop stuffing my face with chocolate even though I hate myself for it and feel
sick after. I’ve had to stop my husband buying any sweet stuff because I have no control especially at 2 am. 5 ft 4 and 12 stone 9. It shows bloody everywhere but mainly stomach. I have just started my first week of meal Replacement shake for lunch and protein/fibre bar for breakfast on the basis that its over processed shit that I love anyway but with more protein and fibre than I would have got anyway. I’m giving it six weeks as a short sharp shock to see how I go. Will keep checking in here as you all get the struggle.

ive bought some inspirational running shorts having watched lots of hot girls running in them near where I live. They look awful
at the moment but I’ve decided I’m wearing them come October so gotta get going !!
Managed another booze free day today - trying to psych myself up for a quick run if and when my DC ever go to sleep and trying to set myself up for a decent week!
