How bad are ferrier roches? I've had about 4 and a boost bar. I think its safe to say today was a write off and I'll try again tomorrow!

nappyaddict · 25/02/2008 23:55

on a green day it says you can have cream cheese as a healthy extra. does anyone know what sort you are allowed?

nikkid21 · 26/02/2008 08:21

Theres' loads of Heb cheese listed for a green day. You can have 85g low fat soft cheese or 57g medium fat soft cheese. They are just the generics but there are branded ones listed. Your best bet is to log into the SW website - cherry is still working as password.

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 08:23

Nappy addict, I think you're allowed any sort of cheese at all as a healthy extra. As said on the other thread quark is free, but for more tasty ones you just need to work out what quantity would be 6 syns, and use that.

If anyone's got the password you can go online to check, but I seem to remember something like 85g of low/extra low fat philly being one of the biggest portions of cream cheese you can have. Hope that all makes sense!

Big announcement (well, big deal for me!) I start a SW class tonight! here comes motivation!! (hopefully)

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 08:28

No problems of course.

I have a new green day breakfast. Spaghetti hoops! Simple, warm and free, and possibly a bit weird of me but hey ho, I don't care as long as the scales like me for it!

Have to be good today, I'm going mix to match with any luck - green b'fast, green lunch, some fruit as snack and evening meal red - at the steakhouse again!

nappyaddict · 26/02/2008 12:23

on the website it says cream cheese aswell. does anyone know what it is?

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 12:47

What do you mean, nappyaddict? Cream cheese is any spreadable cheese, really. Philly, primula, etc.

nappyaddict · 26/02/2008 13:12

oh .... i thought that was soft cheese. it lists both soft cheese and cream cheese as seperate items.

nappyaddict · 26/02/2008 13:38

have just worked out that 28g of mascarpone is 6 syns, 84g of ricotta is 6 syns and 28g of creme fraiche is 5.5 syns.

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 13:40

oh! hmmm i don't know then, I'd have described them both as the same is it the same quantity?

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 13:42

gives up and wanders away, confused

SWlurker · 26/02/2008 14:06

Its bugging me now! Will check with new consultant tonight.

nappyaddict · 26/02/2008 16:42

it says 85g of low fat soft cheese, 85g of ricotta, 57g of medium fat soft cheese, 28g of cream cheese

poppy90 · 26/02/2008 17:09

well... I think soft cheese is something like camembert or brie, cream cheese is usually full fat - somethng like you'd make cheesecake with (the real cheesecake). But then again low fat soft cheese would probably be philly or the like!! phew hth???? x x

nappyaddict · 26/02/2008 23:23

swlurker - what did your consultant say?

sugarlumps · 27/02/2008 07:44

i asked my mum who used to be a consultant and she agrees with poppy - soft cheese is exactly that, soft, not spreadable, soft, and cream cheese is the stuff in tubs which is normally made with full fat milk which is why you are allowed less of it.
hope that helps.

Did anyone feel that earthquake last night???
the room was shaking and there was a really loud rumbling noise, i thought "is this an earthquake?" but then thought it cant be so it must be the plumbing lol, madness!

2moro is weigh day [hmmm] im praying i've got to my club 10. fingers crossed.
must plan a speed day today!

nappyaddict · 27/02/2008 08:18
