5st to loose, 26 weeks, 1:1 diet

oddwellingtonboots · 13/06/2023 22:10

Hallo everyone,

Jumping on here as I have set a target to loose as much weight as possible before Christmas.

Starting stats
16st 2lbs
5ft 6
Age 39
Size 18

Due to other health issues I need a healthy BMI to qualify for a breast reduction and life insurance, both of which I'd like to have by 2024.

Target weight is 11st. Going to start on 1:1 when I'm back from working away next week so I can get my delivery, see how that goes for a couple of months.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Xx

2lb is a big drop awesome work @HippyChickMama Lots of water sounds like a good plan.

Bumblebeebum23 · 18/10/2023 14:24

Oh my god! Is anybody else finding things so much harder now that the weather is so cold and miserable? I just want to eat stodge!! 😩 must.stay.strong. making do with a cup of tea

Great loss @HippyChickMama x

Hurryupharry · 19/10/2023 08:09

Well done @HippyChickMama that’s a great loss 👍
Lovely to hear about everyone’s NSVs. They really make a difference when the scales aren’t necessarily moving much.
Calm has descended here as Dsis and niece are elsewhere for the next week+. I am maintaining at just under 100kg at the moment which is a positive. Ideally I would like to keep the weight loss going as I am sure in the lead up to Christmas I am going to be less inclined to stay fully on track.
And totally agree @Bumblebeebum23 the desire for stodge is strong!
Have a great day, I was looking forward to some quiet time here then remembered I have to go to work for a training course 😬 thankfully it’ll be over by lunchtime.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 19/10/2023 09:36

I agree @Bumblebeebum23 & @Hurryupharry I hadn't linked it to the changing weather but I'm definitely finding it harder this month, I just really want the extra slice of bread with my dinner.

I'm still calorie counting and I have faith that if I keep creating a calorie deficit the weight will drop. but no it's definitely harder.

I'm still going to the gym and my legs are looking shockingly toned and muscled. so NSV there.

I'm working on being able to walk further and faster I want to be able to do 5km in under an hour without a break.

I can now do 3km distance in 45min OR I can get the speed on the treadmill upto 5km per hour, but I can't (yet) do 5.0kmph for anything like 45 min iyswim.

Hurryupharry · 21/10/2023 10:02

I’m somehow managing to keep on track with hitting my target, however this is the first week where I’m not ahead of myself so although I’m 15st 9lbs, and 9 weeks left until Christmas, I now have no wriggle room and will have to make a concerted effort to lose and keep the momentum going.
Calorie and content of meals not too bad but silly snacking and tempting treats at work are showing my lack of willpower. I’m going to try and simply not allow myself any chocolate and make sure I have healthier choices for when I’m bored on my late shift.
Hope everyone is keeping happy and healthy. Keep the faith 💪🏻

HippyChickMama · 22/10/2023 14:14

3lb off for me this week, only 2lb more to reach 2st off!

SW: 17st 12
CW: 16st 0
TW: 10st 7 (or thereabouts)

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 22/10/2023 19:43

keep up the good work @Hurryupharry
Woohoo @HippyChickMama nice work

Bumblebeebum23 · 23/10/2023 07:42

Well done @Hurryupharry and @HippyChickMama you're doing so well 😊 13st 7 and 1/4lbs this morning, so 1.5lbs off. Half term officially starts for us today 😊 hope everyone has great a week x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 23/10/2023 09:05

Well done @Bumblebeebum23 1.5lbs is great, I hope you all have a good half term

howdoesatoastermaketoast · 23/10/2023 09:15

Well I lost the extra from the weekend away (but it was mostly only the train ride home that was a disaster for my diet) and another 1.2kg, so I'm actually pretty happy with my progress this week. That's 3.5kg in the last 3 weeks so the trend remains steady.

SW: 150kg
CW: 128.7kg
TW: 60kg

Next couple of mini goals are excitingly close though. 127.5kg is 15% body weight lost and 126.9kg is under 20 stone which feels really significant to me.

I hope everyone is feeling good in themselves, half term for us here too.

goes for me too lol

Willowview · 23/10/2023 09:48

Well done everyone x

2lbs on for me, after saying I needed to be more on track, everything went tits up.

Just like my old school reports, must try harder.

X

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 23/10/2023 09:58

/sympathy @Willowview sometimes it happens, don't let it get you down.

Sometimes my weight fluctuates a lot no no particularly apparent reason. To have put 2lbs of fat on in a week would require almost 1000 excess calories a day and even if you haven't done well you (probably) haven't actually eaten that much. Do your best and fingers crossed you'll see a big improvement next week.

Willowview · 23/10/2023 10:02

Thank you 💕

Bumblebeebum23 · 24/10/2023 09:28

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk such inspirational progress, well done 👏 @Willowview sending hugs 🤗you've got this 💪xx

Willowview · 24/10/2023 14:24

Aaaaw, thanks @Bumblebeebum23

X

HippyChickMama · 29/10/2023 08:31

I got my 2st off yesterday! Then probably undid it by going out for a meal last night 😂 but a target met regardless. I'm off for half term week now so I've got to try not to slip into bad habits
SW: 17st 12
CW: 15st 12

Bumblebeebum23 · 29/10/2023 12:40

Yay, well done @HippyChickMama that's brilliant 👏 Enjoy half term 😀

Bumblebeebum23 · 30/10/2023 07:24

Stayed the same this week (13st 7lbs) 🙄 trying not to get disheartened. October has been a very slow month in terms of weight loss (I will post October's final total tomorrow, but currently, it's 3.5lbs). Just need to keep going and remember the bigger picture. I'm 30lbs down and on the right trajectory. (Now to make it through Halloween, Guy Fawkes and Christmas! 🙀)

Back to work today (boo)

Have a good week everyone xx

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 30/10/2023 08:18

Well every little helps 0.6kg

SW150.0kg
CW 128.1kg
next target 127.5kg - Maybe this week

Non scale victories; new bras which fit me better and they look fab, new hair cut which I like

Bumblebeebum23 · 31/10/2023 07:46

So, it was a little bit better this morning.

End of October weigh in: 13st 6.5lbs... so only 4 lbs this month, but still moving down. Here's to November 😊

SW:15st 9lbs
CW: 13st 6.5lbs

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 31/10/2023 08:45

Morning Bumble!

Thanks for the update, 4lbs is great although I appreciate it can feel like a lot of time and effort for small amounts of progress sometimes. Bring on November.

You've inspired me to work out my October stats too.

howdoesatoastermaketoast · 31/10/2023 08:52

End of October (2023)

Average kcal consumed per day over the last 5 weeks 1476

Average loss per week over the same period 1.025kg

Estimated tdee over the same period 2480

Weight start of October 132.2

Weight end of October 128.1

Total loss of 4.1Kg just over a stone in 4 weeks (from the week commencing 2/10)

Hurryupharry · 31/10/2023 10:37

Hi, sorry for not posting regularly. My sister and niece have been back with us for a few days- thankfully she flies home today!
Looking forward to a number of new starts in November- getting myself firmly back into a routine with gym, diet and self care. I will post my stats tomorrow all being well. Off to pick up my new car now .
Well done @Bumblebeebum23 and @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk , fantastic results for October- and overall. 🌟

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 31/10/2023 10:54
