5st to loose, 26 weeks, 1:1 diet

Hallo everyone,

Jumping on here as I have set a target to loose as much weight as possible before Christmas.

Starting stats
16st 2lbs
5ft 6
Age 39
Size 18

Due to other health issues I need a healthy BMI to qualify for a breast reduction and life insurance, both of which I'd like to have by 2024.

Target weight is 11st. Going to start on 1:1 when I'm back from working away next week so I can get my delivery, see how that goes for a couple of months.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Xx

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk amazing 👏 you're smashing it! 💪

Well, as expected, a gain this week 🙄 14st this morning (but did have a huge roast, rhubarb crumble and custard, chocolate, and a sandwich yesterday). Birthday celebrated ✔️ feeling better ✔️ so back in the game today. Hopefully back to a loss next Monday

Sorry 🐝, cross posted,

Bumble, the memories you created are worth more than the lbs, which can come off in the future. So glad you managed to celebrate x

Willowview · 18/09/2023 08:09

@HippyChickMama that's cracking!! Congratulations on your dedication 💖

Feeling left out, gonna start weighing Mondays x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 18/09/2023 09:00

First of all thanks @Bumblebeebum23 & I think Birthday celebrated ✔️ feeling better ✔️ so back in the game today. Is the perfect attitude, it's absolutely about prioritising your health and wellbeing. Some weeks that means different things than others.

Thanks @Willowview your support is genuinely appreciated, sure join the Monday fun! But I do also think sometimes it's quite nice to see people's progress on different days through the week, so no pressure.

Well done @HippyChickMama 2lbs is a great result, and a stone is 6 weeks proves it's a solid fat burning trend you've got going. Keep doing what you're doing it's clearly working.

Best wishes to you all.

Hippywannabe · 19/09/2023 07:11

Finally got my head straight when we went back to school and in 2 weeks have lost 12lbs! I know it is mainly water weight the 1st week but cracked down into another stone barrier. Now focusing on the next 7lbs to crack the next one.
I have been doing mainly 2 packets or bars and a healthy salad with a protein in the evening.

Bumblebeebum23 · 19/09/2023 07:34

Thank you @Willowview and @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk 😊 feeling back on track.

Well done on your amazing losses @Hippywannabe and @HippyChickMama. So inspiring to see us all moving down those numbers 💪

Willowview · 19/09/2023 08:44

Wowsers @Hippywannabe that's a cracking start! Congratulations 💐

Congratulations to everyone on all the fantastic results ⭐️ so encouraging to hear about how others are getting on and tips they have on what works for them. I’m finally feeling better after the horrible cold/virus thing. I have been pretty lax on following any kind routine with food over the last couple of weeks but have managed to STS despite chocolate and carb intake being quite high. I have a month of disruption about to start with my sister and niece staying at times until the end of October. I thrive best when dieting when I can follow my own routines and eat exactly what I want when I want. I will have to adapt when there are shared meals or evenings out. I find my daughter can also want to derail me - oh it’s the weekend, oh it’s just a glad of wine etc.
Anyway generally feeling better physically and emotionally so onwards and upwards!

Hurryupharry · 19/09/2023 08:58

*glass of wine 😬

Willowview · 19/09/2023 09:54

Hey up @Hurryupharry , glad you're feeling better 💖

I have similar ongoing problems with providing food for all needs, my eldest is vegan, middle is underweight, and youngest a carnivore. Tonight we're having curry, as a base, with levels of added extras, samosas etc. I will, in theory be having the base, plus chickenless chunks and brown rice.

I totally understand about the wine, once I've had a couple of glasses all my good intentions go out the window, but we can't, and shouldn't be good all the time surely, that would be no fun and IMO lead to binging.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 19/09/2023 10:55

First of all a big woo hoo to @Hippywannabe that must feel great though, you know the whole 12lbs isn't burnt fat but nevertheless it IS all lost weight, and feeling lighter is great. It is easier I think when you can be in a routine so I'm glad you're able to make the most of the kids being back at school.

Good to hear you're feeling positive @Bumblebeebum23

Hi there @Hurryupharry ! Routine is helpful isn't it, so disruption poses a number of challenges. I'd find it hard to stand up to the kind of peer pressure your daughter applies, with me it's my mum.

Willowview · 20/09/2023 16:24

Ladies, cheer your day up and hop on over to the does anyone still "Rock a full bush thread"

Bumblebeebum23 · 20/09/2023 17:48

Glad you're feeling better @Hurryupharry 😊

Hurryupharry · 21/09/2023 06:51

Thank you @Willowview , @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk and @Bumblebeebum23 . I haven’t done too badly in the last couple of days. Resisted a half price muffin in Costa yesterday afternoon with my coffee ! Love a bargain so it took a double amount of willpower 😬
@Willowview I’m hoping the ‘full bush’ thread hasn’t disappeared , that’ll be a good read to start the day 😂

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 21/09/2023 09:25

How's it going for you ladies?

Not saying it's hard, but, and mines a very big butt. . . .

Today at work in the care home, I h thought for a second about eating a lonesome chocolate brazil . . . .

Off the floor!!!!

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 23/09/2023 13:12

hey @Willowview totally relatable, lol. I mean it's just tidying up right?

I went to the gym this morning so feel like I need a gold star sticker on the chart I don't actually have.

Willowview · 23/09/2023 13:33

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk I got the free version of myfitnesspal, you can log all your food as calories, by just choosing the food, and all exercise too. I was actually short on calories yesterday, and had 4 cream crackers with two light cheese triangles, who knew crackers actually taste nice without lashings of butter!!!

Well done on your workout, I can only imagine it feels good 🤣, off to see a bicycle in a bit, I'll buy it if it's ok, then I have a chance of feeling the benefit of exercise at least.

Hoping to be under 17st by Monday, if I am, it will be the first time since COVID began.

Have a good weekend

WV x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 23/09/2023 13:50

ooh big round numbers are always super satisfying. I hope the bicycle is what you're looking for.

Bumblebeebum23 · 23/09/2023 14:02

@Willowview 🤣 So so relatable! I have to admit that yesterday, I was eating the tiny morsels of pepperoni that came off the knife as I sliced my children's delicious smelling pizza! And inhaling the cheesiness 🤤 However, I am feeling back on track this week, which is good. Did a sneaky weigh in this morning and was back to 13st 12lbs (1st 11lb lost) so hoping to keep going over the weekend. My mum arrives from Australia (where she lives) mid-October, and I would love to be over my two stone lost by then.

Well done on the workout @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk sounds great. I haven't hugely upped my exercise but I am trying to walk everyday rather than sitting on my arse!

Willowview · 23/09/2023 14:55

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk Bicycle was a goer!! Good to go, when I have some energy x

Ha ha, I love it @Bumblebeebum23 , lil bits of heaven off the knife 🤣🤣🤣 Are you looking forward to your Mum coming? x
