5st to loose, 26 weeks, 1:1 diet

Hallo everyone,

Jumping on here as I have set a target to loose as much weight as possible before Christmas.

Starting stats
16st 2lbs
5ft 6
Age 39
Size 18

Due to other health issues I need a healthy BMI to qualify for a breast reduction and life insurance, both of which I'd like to have by 2024.

Target weight is 11st. Going to start on 1:1 when I'm back from working away next week so I can get my delivery, see how that goes for a couple of months.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Xx

That's a strong and consistent trend you've got going there @HippyChickMama well done you're clearly doing all the right things! So exciting when the stone boundary rolls around.

Bumblebeebum23 · 12/09/2023 13:09

Thank you @Willowview. They have removed a huge salivary gland stone! (one of the biggest the dr had ever seen!) Feel so much better already. So in a backwards sort of way, a good birthday gift!

Hurryupharry · 12/09/2023 13:27

Happy birthday @Bumblebeebum23 so happy to read that you’re already feeling a bit of relief having had the salivary stone removed. What a way to spend your day! Relax and recover now 🤞🏼

Bumblebeebum23 · 12/09/2023 13:43

Bumblebeebum23 · 12/09/2023 14:03

Haha @Willowview, vodka is a great plan! I've just eaten a bowl of shreddies!! So happy 😁 instant relief and actual food!

Willowview · 12/09/2023 14:23

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 12/09/2023 16:43

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 12/09/2023 16:44

Bumblebeebum23 · 12/09/2023 19:04

Thank you @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk. Apparently it is quite rare. Just so relieved to be out of pain

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 12/09/2023 19:59

"Apparently it is quite rare." Well I'd expect nothing less from you than to get a high class exclusive sort of agonising condition.

So glad you're out of pain. Did you get your vodka yet ?

Bumblebeebum23 · 12/09/2023 20:02

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk I had some birthday prosecco and cake 🎂 🥂

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 13/09/2023 09:33

Awesome, I'm really pleased your birthday turned out as well as it did.

Willowview · 15/09/2023 08:02

Morning ladies, happy Friday!! Weigh in for me,

SW 17.7
CW 17.1 1/2

3.5lbs off this week.

Time to break out the orlistat, I've been reticent to use it as i was still binging, but I feel strong enough to give it a bash now. 1 tablet a day with my evening meal.

Thanks again ladies, I couldn't do it without you.

X

Bumblebeebum23 · 15/09/2023 11:50

Wow, great loss @Willowview. Have you used orlisat before? I've never dared go down that route but would be interested to hear your experience.

I'm out for a birthday meal on Sunday and haven't been following my usual fasting schedule this week due to antibiotics/recovering so I'm not hopeful for a loss on Monday. However, going to reset and start again next week, feeling more re-energised

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 15/09/2023 12:22

wow well done @Willowview that's terrific news keep us posted about how to find the olistat like @Bumblebeebum23 I'd be interested to hear your experiences.

That makes sense @Bumblebeebum23 it's just about getting yourself back on an even keel and feeling ok this week for sure.

Willowview · 15/09/2023 12:28

@Bumblebeebum23 , glad to hear you're celebrating this weekend, enjoy, and quite right IMO for the focus of your week to be recovering and having a shindig!!!

Orlistat works extremely well for me, if I eat well, and definitely boosts my weight loss. Worst case scenario with orlistat is that I get pissed, eat fatty food and suffer a poorly tummy and other undesirable outcomes.

1 tablet just before or after a meal, up to 3 a day.

I don't plan to be on it long-term just until I'm more comfortable exercising x

Willowview · 15/09/2023 12:31

How rude of me!!

Thanks ladies 🌻 x

Bumblebeebum23 · 15/09/2023 14:17

Thanks both, it's been a very tough week or so, but I'm glad to be coming out the other side 😊

@Willowview do you pay for it privately or is it prescribed by the gp?

Willowview · 15/09/2023 14:46

The first time I had it, the GP prescribed it, I darent ask again, so I buy it now from "Simply Meds"

GENERIC XENICAL 120MG Caps-42 Capsules (14 days)

I always find a voucher discount code which makes them under £20.

You have to fil out a health questionnaire.

Bumblebeebum23 · 16/09/2023 08:34

Thanks, @Willowview, something to keep in mind. Good luck with it x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 16/09/2023 13:09

Thanks for the info @Willowview it is something I'd considered but I wasn't too sure about. Good luck with them.
