Hallo everyone,

Jumping on here as I have set a target to loose as much weight as possible before Christmas.

Starting stats
16st 2lbs
5ft 6
Age 39
Size 18

Due to other health issues I need a healthy BMI to qualify for a breast reduction and life insurance, both of which I'd like to have by 2024.

Target weight is 11st. Going to start on 1:1 when I'm back from working away next week so I can get my delivery, see how that goes for a couple of months.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Xx

End of the month and back to work tomorrow 😪 bit of a gain this morning 🙄 weighed in at 14st 4lbs. Really wanted to get to 14st 2lb and my 1.5 stone this month, but reminding myself that a 5lbs loss over the summer holidays is definitely a success. Back to routine tomorrow and hoping for a slim September 😊

Original start weight: 15st 9lbs

June loss: 5.5lbs
July loss: 8.5lbs
Aug loss: 5lbs

Total loss to date: 1st 5lbs.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 31/08/2023 12:14

consistency and perseverance are the important things to focus on @Bumblebeebum23 you've lost 19lbs in the last three months, you're doing the right things. Weight fluctuates even when fat burning is consistent.

Good luck on going back to work after your break (are you a teacher?)

Bumblebeebum23 · 31/08/2023 13:58

Thank you @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk 😊 wise words 😊 Yes, back to school after the summer holidays. I work as a school ELSA, and I am also a counsellor

howdoesatoastermaketoast · 31/08/2023 18:45

We're in back to school mode here too bumble, my afternoon was spent sewing hems [it's all glamour all the time with us].

Willowview · 01/09/2023 09:09

Congratulations @Bumblebeebum23 definitely a win!

SW 17.7

CW 17st 1/2lb,

6.5lbs off in one week, this is because I was almost in competition with myself to eat as much as possible before joining this group. Total self destruct.

Thank you ladies, I needed this x

My teen lad is so not bothered about getting a haircut even for going back to school!! So relaxed, and this is his GCSE year!! Some work to be done on mindset.

X

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 02/09/2023 14:03

Crikey willow you were up early! I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

Kind regards to you all, thinking of you.

Willowview · 02/09/2023 21:52

It's been super busy for me, rock show last night. Work this morning then a Bollywood afternoon party. Tonight, I helped make a buffet at the village hall.

I won't be up early tomorrow@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk 🤣🤣🤣

Shitty food choices today.

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend x

howdoesatoastermaketoast · 02/09/2023 22:24

buffets are the worst for trying to keep track of precisely how much you've eaten! Enjoy your lie in tomorrow's a new day ;-D

Willowview · 03/09/2023 09:33

@howdoesatoastermaketoast absolutely, cheers x

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 03/09/2023 11:49

starting weight 150 kg
new low 137.4 kg
target weight 60kg

most recent milestone 142.5kg =5% weight reduction
next milestone 135 kg =10% weight reduction

Hurryupharry · 03/09/2023 11:52

I’m not sure I have posted this week. Going through a strange phase in my life where nothing feels quite right. Plodding on generally and being pretty consistent in my eating habits. My low of last Saturday immediately bounced back up by a lb and stayed there until Friday more or less.Back down to 16st 1lb this morning so happy enough with that.
well done to everyone, keep on keeping on 💪🏻

Hurryupharry · 03/09/2023 11:55

@stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk that’s a great achievement, you’re so close to the 10% reduction, you will hit that very soon I’m sure 👌

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 03/09/2023 12:47

thanks @Hurryupharry yeah it's good to focus on the next milestone rather than getting too bogged down in how far I still have to go.

kudos to you for plodding on, establishing and maintaining healthier eating patterns / habits is the important bit imho, eat the right amount of the right stuff and the weight loss will inevitably follow. It's just a question of perseverance, (and some trial and error to figure out how much the right amount is).

Bumblebeebum23 · 03/09/2023 22:35

Amazing progress, both 👏 well done xx

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 03/09/2023 23:22

thanks @Bumblebeebum23
