Hi @UsernameFail - I think for me it was quantity really that made the most difference. I had had a really bad relationship with diets etc over the years and had ended up feeling quite bad about it all mentally so I didn’t want to go back to a place of counting calories etc so I just ate normally but my appetite was much less. If I bought a sandwich I was happy with half of it and I’d have the rest for another meal. My evening meal could probably be served on a side plate and even then I might not finish it. As I knew I was eating so much less I did try to make sure it was healthy and balanced with protein and lots of veg and some fruit. To be honest I’ve drunk wine throughout. I love a biscuit with a cup of tea after lunch and I still have that most days.
with regard to feeling the appetite suppression I felt it straight away really but I started on 0.5 as that was what the supplier I used recommended at the time for weight loss. My side effects were and still are mainly constipation. Occasionally sulphur burps and heartburn. Slight queasiness if I need to eat.
I haven’t done any exercise. Although I have just signed up to a 60 day strength training programme - and then got injured in week one so that’s on hold!
Hope that helps. Have you listened to the Zoe podcast? It’s definitely worth a listen. Or you can read the transcript of it.
