Has anyone had the following, I was sitting watching TV when I started sweating profusely, went a bit strange like I wasn’t in the room, kind of vacant, shaking, and starving to the point of nausea.

I had a glass of fresh orange juice and a slice of toast it lasted about 20 minutes and I’m fine now.

I’ve had 4 weeks of 0.25 and start 0.5 tomorrow. I’ve not really had many side effects

My Ozempic is being prescribed by my GP. I've also got to do my blood sugar levels twice a day even though I'm not diabetic. I've been told if my blood sugar dips below 5 to eat 2 X Jelly Babies and get myself some food. Maybe your blood glucose dropped too low. Even if you are not hungry at all you still have to eat regular little meals with high protein and low carbs.

Just had my third dose but am finding the nausea fairly crippling, has anyone found anything to help with this?

Not sure that I can keep going if I feel like this which is a shame as I’m 5lbs down which is great.

Molly I find I feel a bit nauseous when I have not eaten for 4-5 hours. I bought some of those mini bananas and had one when I felt a bit nauseous and it passed. Try not time your meals so you don't go too long without something in your stomach. Just something small helps.

Ekk I bit the bullet and ordered last night through Juniper!

I've been researching for months but have always put it off for various reasons, a wedding, a night out, a weekend away. But yesterday my husband took some photos of me and my daughter and I realised I have absolutely no photos I want to frame. I hate them all so something needs to change.

I was just wondering if anyone takes any supplements/ vitamin whilst taking Omezpic. I currently take a standard multivitamin, Vit D and a hormone balance. I've seen Fibrogel mentioned, anything else?

Twilightstarbright · 16/04/2023 07:40

@LemonPledge555 I’ve not been either! If I don’t go today I’ll get some fybogel or similar.

I’ve completely lost the desire to eat since I took it on weds. Been having a lot of soups which I find I can have almost like a drink.

I can’t remember who asked but my energy levels are fine in the day but very tired come 7pm. I’ve been exercising as normal though. I suspect that it’s an adjustment to not filling myself up on sweets and chocolate.

AuntieSoap · 16/04/2023 07:43

Can I ask if anybody on Ozempic is also hypothyroid and takes Levothyroxine? I can't find anything online to say that they're incompatible but does anyone know differently?

babysoupdragon2 · 16/04/2023 07:55

If I was to switch suppliers (currently manual but want to use juniper code) would they be able to send a 0.5mg pen straight off or would i have to have another 0.25?

I remember this post from when i first went looking for Ozempic related threads. I'm not sure if the poster is still around but it looks like she started to see results?

Juniper agreed to send me a .5 pen but would not send me a 1ml pen.
.25 and .5 are basically the same pen but different doses so it doesn't really matter.

I have sent you a code for £50 of you need a few needles just PM your address.

Yes I take the vitamin d tablets from manual and the hair vitamins which have actually made my nails really strong they look longer and healthier than they have ever been. I can't see Much difference with my hair, still I am delighted my nails are looking fab.
I also take the Glucomannan on days 5,6 and 7 . As long as you drink lots of water you should not need the fybogel.

The vitamins are all half price with the Manual code and Manual approved the vitamins to take with Ozempic , my Glucomannan seemed to be half price as long as I ordered vitamins at the same time with the code.

Another kilo/2.2 lbs lost this week! Happy with that considering no side effects and I had a takeaway during the week and brunch out yesterday.

my bmi is now 26.8 so I’m worried it’s going to make it harder to swap between providers for cheaper pens.

That's a great loss.
I am Moving a bag of sugar or flour every time i loose 2 or 3 llb.
I don't think you will have a problem moving suppliers especially if you have high cholesterol or pre diabetes .

Why do Junioer send 0.5 for 2 months - did I read that correctly?

Yes, I was told the same when I joined. I think it's due to the supply issues.

Do they delay you in moving up to 1mg by a month?

Beenalongwinter · 16/04/2023 10:16

Juniper use a chat function a bit like Microsoft teams called Slack , can anyone explain more, will juniper add me on slack or will I need to add Juniper ?

They send you a link to join. I've downloaded it but not used it. Found this thread more helpful and informative and I'm not massively interested in what other people have lost or are eating!

Good morning everyone, quick update. Took 1st injection Friday. Not felt hungry since (but I am prone to suggestion so maybe me not the injection as guessing that's rather quick).

Tried to message you regarding spare needles but can't seem to figure out how to do it. Couldn't get into messages to get codes either. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

mumwheresmyribena · 16/04/2023 10:55

But remember, the official dosing protocol is only ever to go to 1mg if it's needed for additional control. For some reason people seem to think that everyone should be taking 1mg on the 9th week, this isn't so. Building to a steady-state is more important at that stage than each the amount of each individually dose.

Hmm…I think it’s more of people trying to eeek their pens out or those who don’t get on with it tbh - who are advised to medically stay on titration for longer. Everywhere I can see says 8 weeks of titration. In fact, the juniper UK website even says 0.5 for 4 weeks and them move up.
