@Beenalongwinter thank you

I don't suppose anyone has a discount code for Juniper I could use? Apologies if this isn't the place to ask

OrderOfTheKookaburra · 14/04/2023 08:50

I have a wedding in June and am hoping for 10 kg (1 1/2 stone) - but then I am 101 kg so very much in the obese category.

polopolopolopoo · 14/04/2023 08:56

@Myfridgeisnoisy sent you a pm 😀

I’m hoping for around the same for a trip in the summer and I’m starting at 105kg, a lot to lose although I do carry it well - even at my slimmest I’m still at the very top end of BMI

DrMadelineMaxwell · 14/04/2023 10:18

I've a wedding in the end of may to attend. Then an abroad holiday with my dc in end of July (they are 18 and 22 so adults only -yay), then another short abroad break with friends at the end of aug.

Hoping to have made an inroad on the 3.5 stone I want to eventually lose.

That will take me to just in my healthy weight range at 11st, but I'm a size 12 at that weight (not that I've seen that for 20 years and only then briefly after a good stint with ww!)

LemonPledge555 · 14/04/2023 10:18

@Fortheloveofus I’ve woken up hungry today, after odd dreams about eating and fun fairs and my mum loading a dishwasher and cutting a cake 😂 I’m just sat down at my desk now eating a hot cross bun and having a coffee and not sure if I’m feeling full or if it’s in my head. Just before bed I had a few big gulps of peppermint tea and wondered if I might feel full/a bit sicky but I’m probably hyper aware at the moment. We’ll see how it goes! Logging on MFP for now too and desperately hoping to stop myself from weighing in again before next Thursday/Friday!

MiniCooperLover · 14/04/2023 11:08

I find I wake up hungry, have a good breakfast, then a smaller lunch and even smaller dinner. Seems to work

@Beenalongwinter why will juniper not prescribe the 1mg. I'm with them and on all the printed leaflets it has month four onwards 1mg. Have they given you a clinical reason why not. I'd be very disappointed if they wouldn't prescribe it to me after following the months of titration and sticking with juniper x

Could it be they don’t have the stock and are not prescribing?

MedievalMadness · 14/04/2023 11:21

Mine was supposed to come this morning but flipping DPD didn’t even ring the bell and it’s now going to be delivered to a pick up location I haven’t even listed . Pathetic . I knew there would be problems as soon as I found out DPD were the courier. It was dispatched 3 days ago. Will it be ok?

MedievalMadness · 14/04/2023 11:22

Forgot to say it’ll be sent to pick up location tomorrow sometime.

I am ordering month 3 . That may well be the reason .
Thanks that's helpful.

I phoned DPD when this happened to me and the courier came back with the parcel. I had to spend an hour on the phone and insist on speaking to a supervisor.

MedievalMadness · 14/04/2023 11:50

thanks Movinghouse. I phoned and got redirected to local depot which was closed. I’ll try again.

magnic · 14/04/2023 11:54

My package from manual will be delivered today. However I will be out. I have not told anyone I am starting this. My question is will it say ozempic on outside? Is it easily identifiable? My husband will he here and is used to me ordering stuff and will not question it unless it is clearly obvious what it is. He is annoyingly able to cut down and maintain his weight so doesn't understand my need to try other ways.

Yes - there is a big sticker on it saying to refrigerate on arrival.

Rosie219 · 14/04/2023 12:05

Hi all, I've had my 5th dose of 0.25 out of my first pen. Definitely found appetite suppression isn't as strong as the first couple of weeks but I suppose that's to be expected. I'm still eating healthy and sticking to 1200 calories, so for me it's definitely helping.
I ordered my second pen with QuickMeds on Tuesday night, they've said it should be out for delivery today or Monday. I got the 0.5 pen with it being my second month.

Rosie219 · 14/04/2023 12:07

@magnic
It doesn't mention Ozempic but it does have refrigerate stickers on

Sameiam · 14/04/2023 12:12

Dpd just messed my delivery up too, had a notification it would be delivered Monday instead but online chat sorted it for redelivery today.

MedievalMadness · 14/04/2023 12:17

DPD are hopeless. I also went on the online chat sameiam and apparently they’re sending it to pick up shop today. Will believe it when I get a notification. Hope you get yours ok.

I can’t get Manual cheaper than £159 - am I doing something wrong?

ElinorDashwood68 · 14/04/2023 13:28

Just received an email confirming my order has been dispatched. I was going to start next week but after speaking with my Dr today I need to go in for an annual check up so will wait until after. He wants to up my blood pressure tablets as on a very low dose.

Glad I bought garlic in a tube so I can hide in the box in the fridge without anyone knowing. Whoever r suggested, thanks for the tip!

I think they have increased the price but they will likely despatch same day & you may receive it tomorrow . I am on day 3 with juniper still waiting for approval .
