thanks @mumwheresmyribena that's pretty clear on there isnt it. Do you know if I'd just do 2 shots of the 0.25 from my existing pen when I up it to the 0.5 this week then?

Fortheloveofus · 10/04/2023 12:47

First lot ordered. I've ordered through Manual with a 35% discount, costing £129.
Can I ask, can you use a discount code every month or is it only if you start with a new supplier each month?
Also, they can't be specific in when they are going to deliver so I'm not even sure I'm going to be home from work - does it need to go into fridge immediately?

First price with manual is £129
Normal price reverts to £199 or if you cancel your subscription you are immediately offered £179 to stay . If you cancel and ring customer services you may be able to negotiate down to £150. Most of us cancel and use a cheaper supplier but worry about that in a couple of weeks.
Orders appear to be approved over the bank holiday, guessing you might receive Wednesday your parcel will be in the middle of an ice pack and seem to keep cold for 48 hrs it will be ok in this weather .

@Beenalongwinter thank you for information. Approval message came through with a warning there's some delays but doesn't clarify whether that was because of bank Holiday or supplies. Good luck everyone 💐

mumwheresmyribena · 10/04/2023 13:21

@pisspants I would. AFAIK, there would be very little difference to your body, it's all going in subcutaneously, it should all just be absorbed in the same way.

MiniCooperLover · 10/04/2023 14:21

When people say the effect has worn off completely, are you sure? I've gotten to the day before my injection and forced myself to have a smaller meal, but then realised oh that was ok, it was enough etc. have you tried to intake less and it's def not ok or what happens?

Twilightstarbright · 10/04/2023 14:46

@Fortheloveofus that's interesting, I ordered with Manual and got approved yesterday but no mention of delays. I’m hoping it’s dispatched tomorrow and will arrive weds.

Fortheloveofus · 10/04/2023 14:49

Maybe it's just standard wording on automated emails?

I had that message. I got it within 2 days.

Fortheloveofus · 10/04/2023 15:13

Thank you @Lostinalibrary I'm excited to get started now I've made the decision to go ahead.
Can I also ask, for those of you who didn't have that much to lose - I'm hoping for about 20lb at most - did it take longer at beginning. I know from past experience that being bigger, you initially lose quite big when first starting to diet. I originally a lot of weight 10 years ago and always managed to keep it off but have put about 20lb on over last 2 years or so and finding it impossible to lose even though I calorie count and exercise - I'm thinking maybe menopause related?

Barelyable · 10/04/2023 15:26

Hi! Joining as expecting my first Juniper delivery this week.
For those talking about BMI, mine is only 26.6 and I didn't think I'd be approved but thought it was best to be honest. I had to send in measurements and photos as they needed to assess my 'metabolic type' apparently. I sent them in and was approved. I carry my weight around my stomach and I think that's what they were checking. Ive 1.5 stone to lose so hoping to do that in a couple of months...good for the bank balance 🤞

Barelyable · 10/04/2023 15:28

@Fortheloveofus mine coincided with starting HRT and just won't shift. I'm starting this as a last resort!

That's what I did. Just did two separate 0.25 doses one after the other with different needles as I wasn't sure if the 0.25 pen would click round enough for a 0.5 dose or how many clicks I would need to do.

I managed to do that 2 weeks in a row and still have a bit left although probably not enough for a third week.

Prettybubblesintheair · 10/04/2023 15:49

Could someone give me a juniper code please?

polopolopolopoo · 10/04/2023 16:08

@Prettybubblesintheair will pm you now 😀

Lostinalibrary · 10/04/2023 16:09

Do you stay with manual/juniper or move on

Prettybubblesintheair · 10/04/2023 18:28

Thanks for the code! I’ve been on ozempic for a while, at 1mg for a month now so I’ve contacted juniper to see if I can get the 1mg pen. Has anyone had any experience of ordering 1mg from them?

SarahC50 · 10/04/2023 19:17

I'm just about to take my third Jag of 0.25mg. I've lost 8lbs which I'm delighted with but have had some side effects nausea and headaches

Do people shop around or stay with initial supplier? I've been quite happy with juniper and the support from pharmacy, the slack forum and my health coach so was planning on just sucking up the cost for continuity of care.

If anyone wants a my juniper code for £50 taking their order from £200 to £150 please pm me. X

Gonegrey31 · 10/04/2023 20:28

With Juniper, do you need to submit credit card details and set up account before outcome of eligibility? I’m not sure I’ll qualify although have two medical conditions that mean I need to keep weight down . Just a little wary of submitting financial details at this stage . Would welcome any guidance from others thank you .

Fortheloveofus · 10/04/2023 20:31

I ordered first time today and got told outcome before they asked for payment.

Gonegrey31 · 10/04/2023 20:42

Thank you fortheloveofus

MedievalMadness · 10/04/2023 22:36

I was asked for payment from juniper before approval. They said if not approved there’d be a full refund. Woke up to a message asking what my medication was for and later got another saying that as some could affect kidney function could I send kidney and liver function results from my last blood test. Out of all the ones I’ve had over the years the only one that comes in a bit low is creatinine so I hope that doesn’t mean they won’t approve me. I was surprised to get messages on a bank holiday.

Fortheloveofus · 10/04/2023 22:48

@MedievalMadness I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe it was because of some of the answers you gave to medical questions? I ordered and got approved this afternoon all within 30 minutes and never got asked any follow up questions except to upload photograph and ID

MedievalMadness · 10/04/2023 23:26

Fortheloveofus. Thanks. I’m glad you’re so rigorous but really hope they don’t turn me down. I’m not overly hopeful.

Sameiam · 11/04/2023 11:10

Was preparing myself for a weight gain this week due to eating two takeaways last week plus half a big Easter egg, but somehow managed to drop another kg. Bmi now into the 26.x! My 0.5 pen has just shipped as well so will be interesting to see the difference in doses, I’ve had absolutely no side effects (ate an entire kebab and chips for dinner one night with no nausea or stomach issues) so I’m guessing the 0.25 doesn’t effect me that strongly. I have had the appetite suppression though for most of the week following the injection and the chocolate didn’t taste as good as I’d hoped. 😔 still bad habits to break though as I still finished it anyway!

expecting the weight loss to slow down soon as I always seem to move weight quickly between a bmi of about 26 and 28, but below or above that takes a lot more work.
