We started on 9th January (ish) after we’d very heroically finished off the Christmas chocolate. We discussed our half-arsed plans to shift a bit of timber as we wafted our pudgy trotters vaguely towards the fruit bowl. No one really wanted to exercise properly because it’s too cold/wet/exercisey. We all love biscuits more than being thin yet we vowed to cut down on digestives. We promised, with our fingers crossed just in case. We owned our weaknesses, piggies, we owned them loud and proud and we were as determined as porky trough munchers can be, to aim for around 1lb a week weight loss.

And lo! Lazy Pig Club was born, hooray, and now we need a new thread. Let me know you’re here and how you’re doing, and new pigs are definitely more than welcome!!

Always remember our only rule and the LPC motto: “slowly, slowly - don’t make yourself sad”

Happy Mother's Day piggies!

I've finally got into the next stone bracket down ( only just but thank for that!).

Hope you're all have a nice Sunday. I've had a funny one so far, the other half bought mothers day cards from the youngest and strangely from the cat and dog too ( weirdo). He was mindful of the diet and avoided chocolate though. My eldest made me laugh, came to me all sheepish "mum, I got you a card........ But I left it in my drawer at work 😆).

Lovely roast on the menu today. I've got to cook it ( as I don't want to die), but can't have everything!

Morning fellow piggies! I've returned to the sty after an abysmal start.

However now back on track and down to 10.10 after hitting 11.0 after i started (!)
Trying low carb, or at least cutting out bread, and it seems to have had an almost immediate effect on my appetite and tummy!!

Time will tell. Good luck all x

Morning all. Seriously miffed here this morning - I have put on 4lbs since Friday. FOUR BIG FAT GREEDY FUCKER POUNDS.

Not happy and will be making myself a bit sad this week to get back on track.

Do I need to quit as Chief Pig?!

Oh @Mañanarama, what a load of bollocks. Any chance it's hormonal/an unlevel floor tile under the scales? Very dispiriting for you, but your drove believe in you and you will triumph.

I ate my own weight in Mothers' Day goodies yesterday, it was delightful and I am not even a teeny bit remorseful.

This upward spike is almost certainly water retention due to lots of lovely salty food per the weekend, a good Mother Pig Sunday, possibly hormonal and possibly a cold front of heavy air approaching from the west.

Drunk water, go easy for a couple of days and I bet the 4lbs will vanish quickly.

I am not going near the scales until a few days after the weekend I have just enjoyed.

I’m trying to get back on track this week. Am addicted to my Velvetiser and when I clocked the calories per sachet I nearly fainted! But oh so delicious.

I have decided to reduce the amount of sugar in my life. If it makes me sad I shall stop. Mostly it's making me grumpy.

Awww thank you all, I feel boosted by your comments! Today I’ve been good and am not feeling too sad so I’ll take that as a positive. Must resist polishing off the Mother’s Day chocolates though.

I was 10.5.6 this morning so let’s see what tomorrow brings!

The weekend was EPIC though. The Sunday Lunch venue gave all

It’s just shit though that ONE weekend of fun sets us back. I mean, I had a big meal and lots of drinks on Saturday but didn’t expect to put on 4lbs, and I’ve eaten fuck all of anything fun since, bar a few chocs, and I’m still back where I was at the end of January. Shit shit shitey shit.

This cutting (back) sugar thing is no fun. I'm grumpy and slept super crappily the last two nights. It may not be sugar-related but it kicked in 24hr after a day of no sugary snacks so...

whatusername that definitely sounds like a withdrawal symptom. I had the same when I tried (but failed miserably) to go sugar-free. And the most mahoosive headaches.
I can’t live happily without sugar.

Are we all getting Sty-fever? Fed up with the rain and cold and the whole winter longness? This weekend if the sun pokes through lets get our trotters out trotting, well away from the fridge and nowhere near the Lindt shop. Oh no, nowhere near the Lindt shop.

Arghh, tough weekend ahead. Other half's birthday on Saturday so out for dinner and cocktails tomorrow. Then I'm baking him a cake ( pistachios and lemon, I love baking 🥳). Plus a lovely birthday breakfast planned for him. Two weeks later and it's the eldest 18th.

Someone wire my snout shut..... Save me from myself! I do not want to make good crackling 🐽🐷
