Is anyone else doing this? I started on Saturday (a little later than my planned 1st Jan start as I was skiing). So today I completed my first day of the 14 day phase 2.

I took the salts on Saturday but they didn't kick in until the evening so kids bedtime was fun.

I ate vegetables all weekend, drank black tea and coffee.

Today I have had:
B - Blueberries and Greek yogurt
L - Spicy mince with mushrooms, peppers and salad with ACV
D - 2 egg omelette with mushrooms and peppers and some cucumber and dessert was steamed apple sprinkled with cinnamon.

I have been sipping on fruit tea through the day (which I think is allowed).

I weighed in this morning and have lost 4 1/2 pounds so far - 148.8lbs starting weight and now am 144.5. So we will see how the weigh ins go...

Honestly I don't feel hungry, if I was to snack now it would be because of boredom rather than hunger which is why I'm planning to take myself to bed soon.

I'm really hoping to keep this up and complete all the phases but I would love to have a buddy? Is anyone else on the HBD wagon?

Another week of no change - but as expected. Lots of nsvs- am having a big sort out of my wardrobe and I can fit into everything!! Interestingly I’m not as drawn to keeping bigger things ‘just in case’ - really feel eating like this is how it will be going forward

Hi all,
Im hoping to start the diet tomorrow but haven’t got the recipe book yet, if anyone has any recipes for phase 1 and 2 please, will be highly appreciated. Trying to read through the posts on instagram but most are for other phases.

Also, if anyone has the book, the first recipe Phase 1 Recipe Butternut Squash states recipe is for 6 servings but the vegetables are only 700g. I thought you can eat up to 500g of vegetables per meal in Phase 1? Or did she mean this is 6 servings for Phase 2 and upwards? It’s confused me a bit.

Your vegetable portions in Phase 1 are unlimited as you thought - though she does suggest around 500g per meal as a guideline.

Phase 1 - I liked Tomato and avocado salad. I think I had that twice. Everything else I tried to make (though I didn’t have the recipe book at the time) ended up a bit blah! I am thinking of doing another round of the diet as I’ve put in about 8lbs since I got to goal and this time I will go for some of the veg soups from the recipe book I think.

Not sure if this is the recipe you’re talking about, this makes 4 portions, I had it for lunch and dinner on the first 2 days, I’m on week 8 of phase 3, I’m just back from holiday and about to go on another one so hoping to get back at it once I’m home again, I found the whole experience fantastic, it’s hard work being organised but so worth it. Good luck

I haven’t started the diet yet as I couldn’t find any Epsom salts in the pharmacy or my nearest supermarket… I’ve had to order online so will be starting this weekend fingers crossed 🤞🏼

The recipe book isn’t due until October. It’s out of stock even on the HBD website.
