Lazy pig seeks other lazy pigs to lose 1lb a week.

Ok, this starts on Monday, as I have a steak pie and mash and yorkies to eat tomorrow. Will also heroically finish the Christmas chocolate so it’s out of the house. Once that’s all achieved, I’m good to go.

I need and must lose at least one pound a week until April. That’s about a stone.

Shouldn’t be too hard, right? Wrong. I’m basically fucking lazy, I hate exercise, hate going out in bad weather and am a total gluttonous food guzzling pig. And probably peri menopausal. And I sit at a desk all day. And a million other pathetic excuses why I’ve not shifted this weight in 2022 like I said I would.

I can’t be the only one who’s got sod all willpower, so who’s up to being fully accountable to this thread?

Lazy pigs like me especially welcome. Weigh in Monday morning.

Plateaued at 10.5.4 for the last few days but haven’t exactly been good. Out for lunch later, will it be salad?

Plateauing on the overall downward slope is fine Mañanarama, and you have been doing so well!

I am In Clover this morning! I weigh in Kgs and the big number has gone down. True, crossed to the .9 of the Kg below but down, down, down! Seeing the smaller number Gives me the encouragement to carry on!

But goodness piggies, even 3 years ago I lost weight more quickly on this exact same eating pattern than I am doing now. So it’s good you young piglets are doing this now!

Mañanarama I definitely need to be accountable.

Was doing well this week then last night HelloFresh DID NOT DELIVER AGAIN so it was fish and chips, and then book group happened - cupcakes, olives, maltesers, cheeses......it was a complete car crash.

Will try to rein it back in today........

Weigh-in better for me on a Friday morning so I can relax (stuff my face) at the weekend.

Smugberry smoothie for breakfast today, which I’m combining with three chocolate cookies because, um…it makes me not sad?

Flare up seems to be flaring down a bit so I’m hoping I will be back to smug calorie counting soon 😊

Well done everyone who has lost. Downwards and onwards to the others, the occasional plateau (fateau) is fine, overall we are decreasing in heft.

@vicaragechristmas glad the flare up seems to be on its way out, hope you're feeling better soon.

Sad piggy here as put on 0.5lb when I weighed this morning but it was expected as there were chocolates and cookies at work the last two days. I was doing so well but then caved and ate quite a few! Back on it today, had 4 coffees though but only a belvita and chicken and veg soup eaten so should be ok for jacket potatoes at dinner tonight.

Feeling a bit demotivated this week - weigh in day today and despite being in a calorie deficit every day this week and exercising every day this week, I've somehow put on 3lb, making me 2lb higher than my starting weight at the beginning of January. Most miffed. Fitbit is now being a total sarcy dick and telling me I have 9lb left to lose of my 7lb target 😭

@SuzyQ12 don't feel bad, it's all part of the rollercoaster of this weight loss lark.

I've had COVID this week, hardly eaten (but also hardly moved) and still showing a gain this week. It's depressing but just a blip ( I'm telling myself it's heavy COVID germs causing it 😉).

You made me laugh about the Fitbit. I have a Garmin and if you don't hit your step target it automatically adjusts them for the following day, like it's saying, " try this easier target you lazy pig"

Morning porkers. Ugh, Suzy and Inch, that sounds frustrating. I was on a porky rampage yesterday, full on speed-eating of sweet carbs. Period is due, so I’m going to stay off the scales until I’m out the other side.

I’m definitely blipping. I’ve barely lost anything in over a week. Leads me to think that first half a stone needed shifting quickly and easily, but the next half is going to require some… exercise.

It's all going in the wrong direction ..... too much rooting around in my sty I feel. Possibly connected to a difficult work situation which wore down my not very much resistance to eating.

On a happier note, I've now worked out precisely where to put my trotters on my scale for a consistent reading each time.

I'm finding this thread very helpful .I too have rooted about too much but knowing that my fellow piggies are in the same ark gives me strength not to just trough away my despair at my lack of will power .
And I'm never buying that heavenly pop corn from the market again .You should see what it did to my right hand.Completely took control of it ,it did.

Unsurprising, due to HelloFresh (work of the devil) undelivery, subsequent fish and chips then subsequent book group troughing. I blame it all on HelloFresh.
