www.pponline.co.uk/encyc/0701.htm
is the same kind of thing.... don't be fazed by the physio bits, the description of the actual excercises is good

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:53

thanks polly i'll start it tomorrow.

so whats your mini-goal polly?

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 21/02/2008 21:53

must go and talk to dh ladies, see you all tomorrow...

fedda · 21/02/2008 21:54

I have 1 spoon with tea and 2 with coffee and I noticed that a small bar of chocolate has 7 spoons so may be i'm just having this amount of sugar in a day. It's probably bad and my teeth aren't good but i hate artificial sweeteners and i can't stand tea or coffee without sugar and something to munch on and only water is sooooo boring and I don't like it boiled and it's cold in this time of year. There, I had my moan.

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:55

night polly x

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 21/02/2008 21:55

a lb a week and one for the pot (belly)....so is that 5....that should be do-able and any extra would be a huge bonus!

Jahan · 21/02/2008 21:57

Seriously, Fedda, don't worry too much about your tea/coffee. We all have to have some pleasure in life. I don't think its too bad.

fedda · 21/02/2008 22:08

Thank you, Jahan. I promise to do my best and so far today:]
B- poridge with semi, honey and grapes
L- cheese and grapes sandwich (on white bread I'm afraid with thin butter)with tea with 1 sugar
Coffee with 2 sugars and muesli and granola cereal dry to munch on something
D - 2 small lamb chops but with the fat and 3 pieces of roast pots with ketchup followed by grapes. I'm going to have a tangerine and more grapes now. How am i doing?

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 22:13

jahan what is your mini goal?

fedda are you joining in?

polly i can see you losing 5 pounds easily

OP posts:
fedda · 21/02/2008 22:20

Katy, I'm joining Jahan as i'm rubbish (don't be cross as yes i put myself down here because it's the way things are with any excersise) at excersise. All my excersise is slow - moderate walking, tidying up, putting things away, etc. Jahan plan seems realistic to me and she eve said i could have my teas and coffees

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 22:21

fedda once again you have confused me but hay ho

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 22:21

Good going Fedda. Impressive.

Mini goal is 7lbs by Easter then.

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 22:25

you can do it jahan.smaller goals seem less daunting some how

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 22:50

Yes, you're right Katy.
Its also easy to forget that you see an improvement with each lb you lose rather than thinking 'I've got 2 stone to lose' and thinking you're only going to look good when you get there.
Dh just said to me yesterday that I was looking reall good and that the difference was amazing and I've only lost 10lbs so far!

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 22:53

jahan your dh is alovely, lovely man
a compliment like that is worth its weight in gold

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 23:04

Yes, its quite encouraging too.
He'll be ecstatic come Easter

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 23:10

it's great when your man supports you.mine has been fab but then again he knew how fed up i was last summer when none of my summer clothes would fit.

i'm off to bed now.

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 23:24

Thats the worst feeling - Summer and clothes don't fit.
Not this year!
Goodnight. I'm off to bed too.

fedda · 21/02/2008 23:54

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 22/02/2008 08:04

Morning good to hear you all so positive its helping me stay on track, i've got my weigh in tonight and am hoping to have lost something! I'm just having all bran and banana and i'm going to walk to school and back, one last push for this week then tonight I will relax with something nice!

Fedda- Do you use normal sugar or half sugar? I used to have 2 normal sugars in my tea and im now down to having just over half a spoon of half sugar, maybe you could give that a try?

Mine · 22/02/2008 08:49
