The pooing can be helped with sugar free jelly sweets and Thorntons diabetic toffee. But please don't have tooo many or you wont be sleeping easy tonight.

pollywobbledoodle · 20/02/2008 21:09

just af i think katy ....if you had my pelvic floor you wouldn't want to be weeing all day!.....and i thought of your gain as a disguised loss

pollywobbledoodle · 20/02/2008 21:13

BTW, stayed the same (but by tommorrow will have lost half a stone of fluid...yeah, right!) wasn't surprised really.....i think i'm going to get a friend to weigh me each week to keep me focussed...

LoveMyGirls · 20/02/2008 21:32

I had a tiny bite of dd2's choc chip cookie but apart from that i've been really good and i did walk for about an hour whilst pushing a double buggy!!

i havent weighed myself today (i normally do it every morning but i slept in so didnt have time)

I'm going to give it another big push tomorrow and friday!

fedda · 20/02/2008 21:35

pollywobbledoodle, oh, it would be a great suggestion but if i allow myself 3 sweets i'll end up having six! I'm not taugh to myself. I wish I was because I'd be slim for ever and ever. i just moan at myself and the next day follow the same stupid 9sorry, couldn't help it0 idea. I overeat so all my efforts to cook home made wholesome food are totally waisted, my portions are huge. Even my mum who used to overfeed me when I was a teen, finds it too much, probably schocking. On Sunday we had roast chicken and piled up my plate as usual and when we finished and i went to the kitchen to save some for curry guess what was I doing? Yes, you're right, I was eating pieces of chicken. Am I tough to myself? Doesn't sound like it, does it? And it makes it even worse because I know what i do wrong, i know what i need to change and all I do is sitting on the net and reading MN and getting fatter. Okay, I wouldn't write that I'm a stupid cow, it's obvious anyway.

fedda, have you ever thought of having hypnotherapy to help?.....caught a bit of a programme last night where a cynical woman went to see one and it seemed to manage to help her to control her eating in a way she couldn't....te paul mckenna thinghelps me when i do it regularly...and i slip off the rails when i don't make the time for the cd or i just think stuff it!

pollywobbledoodle · 20/02/2008 21:46

have emailed you katy

fedda · 20/02/2008 21:52

It's an interesting suggestion, Polly. I watched Paul Mckenna on TV and i listened very attentively to his ideas. i have to say each time i ended up folling asleep in the middle of his programme but as they were repeating them I managed to watch a lot and many times. Unfortunately i disagree with his idea. You see, in princip it's really good. Of course, eat as much as you want and stop when you are full, eat when hungry and don't eat when not hungry. Simple and it works - on paper. Try to do it when you have a family and you don't eat when everybody does and half an hour later when they all finish, you decide you're hungry or you don't eat when it's a lunch breal and when everyone is back in the office your appitite starts getting you. I don't know how people manage the system unless they either live on their own or do it as a family. Well, in mh family if we follow this rule every single person will have a different time and the whole thing will became a nightmare. Anyway, I don't really like relying on hypnosis. I just need to be stronger. Come on, Fedda!

pollywobbledoodle · 20/02/2008 21:54

fair enough!

pollywobbledoodle · 20/02/2008 22:46

I've got another good incentive now, my friend persuaded me to register for the race for life in Derby on May 11th, so I need to get in shape for a 5k run

fedda · 21/02/2008 09:46

Good luck, MrsFish.
I resisted coffee yesterday night and I had tangerine and lot's of grapes instead

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 10:10

pollywobbledoodle · 21/02/2008 10:35

re pregnant bloat....i told dh that gynae had asked if i could be pregnant.....dh said did i tell them only if you can catch it from a toilet seat?.....note to self....make time for sex

fedda · 21/02/2008 12:38

Have fun, Polly.

fedda · 21/02/2008 13:21

i had soooooo much excersise today! First I was unloading my dishwasher - bending and moving towards my cupboards and then I picked up my letters (more bending)

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 14:02

not exactly calorie burning though is it

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 16:13

Right!
I'm going to stop eating rubbish as of now and try to join Katy in a v. big loss.
(have eaten about 5 homemade cookies since yesterday and ate crisps and lots of bread and butter)

Come on Fedda, join me. Don't undo the good work you've done. We're going to say no, and, repeat after me;
I am going to be slim!

Great incentive MrsFish. I used to do a similar one every year through work. Its always been good for getting me back in the gym.

fedda · 21/02/2008 16:37

I'll join you, Jahan, thank you
My DS2 has just brought me his skipping rope, bless him
