Are you going to skip, Fedda?
I reckon we can lose a kilo (2.2lbs) by next weeks weigh in if we stick to healthy eating.
3 meals a day. dinner to have limited carbs and loads of veg.
2 snacks. Try to stick to fruit.
lots of water.
some exercise.
How's that for a plan? Is it do-able?

Mine · 21/02/2008 17:40

hi ladies
i have now officially joined WW. I've got 35lbs to lose by end of may... is this possible????

Anyway, i've been very militant about points etc. and very creative with cooking. DH is also doing it 'from home' which means he will not be attending meetings, just copying what i'm doing and eating lots of snacks to make up the points!

today i ahd
BF - scrambled egg on 2 toast
lunch - seafood raman
dinner - beef steak casserole + butternut squash mash

what i really want is a whole double layer choc cake alllllll to myself.

I'm actually scared about my first weight in... what if i have put on weight, or stayed the same...

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 17:44

jahan that is completely do-able
i'm with you every step off the way

Another crap day here eating rubbish Only managed 15 mins on the CT too, just having a blip of a few days, need to get my arse into gear now though if I have any chance of losing this week. Must make some proper food instead of reaching for cakes and biscuits

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:14

15 mins is better than nothing mrsfish.put today behind you and start afresh in the morning

Well done for joining ww, Mine. You can lose the weight you want but I think you're going to have to be very focussed and really stick to it. Don't worry, we'll help you!

food diary;
muesli, yoghurt, coffee
soup, 2 pieces garlic bread, 2 slices pizza, choc cookie (oops - was with a friend)
small portion dahl and rice

just back from the gym. did 10mins bike and 20 cross trainer.

I've got a list of rewards for each 7lb weiht loss.
I've got my hair makeover this week for my 7lb (though I've lost 10)
got a facial for the next 7lb
some new sexy underwear for the next
new wardrobe for the next

pollywobbledoodle · 21/02/2008 21:23

evening all

mine....well done getting dh on board...mine is a skinny minnie who is 6'2'' and weighs less than me....not that i ever tell him that ...we have separate things at brekkie and lunch and different proportions of things for dinner....more veg for me, more quiche and pud for him (....but i want to be slim more than i want more quiche/pud etc)

good day katy, you lean mean excercising machine (to be)

good plan jahan!

well, AF is here with a vengeance....went to playgroup today and within half an hour had soaked thru my tampon, pad and jeans ....luckily dark jeans and a plastic chair! dh was collecting us so spent the next hour sidling backwards to and from the loo with half a loo roll rustling in my pants...all very embarrassing but no-one else seemed to notice when i gave my seat a bit of a wipe at the end

otherwise pretty humdrum!

brekkie...muesli
lunch.....curried carrot and potato soup, 2 slices bread
afternoon..crumpet and marmite
eve........quiche, mash, veg, crispy cake (quality control and all that!), satsuma

and have restarted my stomach excercises and hand jiving( born to hand jive baby...oh yeah...)

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:25

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:28

sorry try this

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 21:31

hmm I like your slogan, Polly, but can I change mine to "must get my arse into gear if I want my arse to fit into new size 10 gear"?

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:32

polly pmsl

thanks for keeping me sane by the way

OP posts:
katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:34

shall we have a mini goal/aim for easter?
i want to lose another 8lbs by easter so i will be under 10 stone.
how long is it until easter?

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 21/02/2008 21:35

jahan, feel free to adapt as needed

katy, i do standard core abdominal excercises from the physio...can look them out if anyone wants but they are very basic

fedda · 21/02/2008 21:37

Jahan, can I have tea and coffee with sugar?

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:38

basic sounds good polly.i'm afraid after 3 c-sections my stomach muscles are shot

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 21:40

Thanks Polly
Mini goal is an excellent idea. I'm up for that.
I'm actually quite daunted by the amount of weight I need to lose so mini goals are the way to go.

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:41

anyone got an idea when easter is? i know it's really early this year

OP posts:
MrsFish · 21/02/2008 21:44

Good Friday is the 21st March

fedda · 21/02/2008 21:45

Good Friday - 21/03, Easter Day - 23/03,Easter Monday - 24/03

katylessbumpy · 21/02/2008 21:47

thanks mrsfish

so am i right in thinking thats 4 weigh ins until easter?

8 lbs should be a doddle

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/02/2008 21:47

Yes Fedda. But no more than 2 a day
One level teaspoon of sugar has 16 cals so if you had 2 a day, thats 32cals. Over a week thats 224. Not that bad I guess. [anorak alert]
