Two week kick-start

Hi, I've been messing around lately, and not lost anything, have even put on. I have around 3st to go, already lost 3st.

I have an event in two weeks, and am going to try to get back in the zone and lose some bloat to try to feel good in my outfit. I'll keep it going past the two week mark too.

Anyone want to join me?

Starting weight 182lbs
Goal weight 133lbs

My weekend wasn't good, it was a bit of a pity party but I'm ready to get back on track. Wallowing and eating crap won't change anything so i need to get over it. I thought my ankle was better but when I put shoes on, I still can't walk properly so no gym for me again this week. The Dr even told me I can't swim, nothing with arms she said, because of the tennis elbow.

It's hard with emotional eating isn't it. Mine seems to be eating happy and sad emotions so not good.

Also frustrating if you're used to being active and are restricted on what you can do. Would a walk be too much?

Hope you've been able to put the weekend behind you and go again.

I'm 160lb today so would like to see 2lb off by the weekend. Think low carbs and lots of veg will be the way to go.

Trying to keep drinking water but more difficult when it's cold weather.

I thought it was better but I didn't go out all weekend and when it came to wearing shoes on Monday, I still couldn't walk properly in them. It's getting better gradually each day so I'm hoping to be back to the gym on monday. I'll have started my different hours by then too so will have loads of time in the morning to go. I'm going to go to the gym rather than my bootcamp class because I can't lift, my elbows are still going to take a bit longer.

It's hard with the eating because I feel like there's not much point. Hrt is the death knell for any hope of ttc, despite what my dh says, it would mean egg donation, the gynaecologist told me that at the scan. So it's hard not to feel like there's no point trying to get in tip top condition, even though I know that's ridiculous.

I've had chicken cesar salad for dinner, today and yesterday, but I'm going to switch to lots of soups, its getting too cold here in the evenings for salad now.

Sorry to hear that. It's rubbish. I appreciate the battle you must have to wonder what's the point.

Your personal health remains important and hopefully that will be enough to keep going.

Definitely entitled to a wobble though based on what your going through.

Thank you. I know this. I know I will feel/think better once I stop eating rubbish. Sugar is a vicious cycle. But tomorrow is a new day so I'm going to make better choices.

I'm in a better frame of mind, yo do this, today.

I've left my other job and am working full time from home now (since yesterday). I've also got every Friday afternoon off until the end of the year. And I'll start at 10 each day, so from monday morning I'm going to get back to the gym. That gives me a few days to drop out the carbs and get my energy back.

So far today I've had a small bit of dark chocolate and an omelette with:

2 eggs
Spinach
Onion
Garlic
A couple of cherry tomatoes
A couple of mushrooms
A couple of slices of ham
A cheese slice
Salt, pepper and chilli flakes.

I'm on my second cup of tea and will eventually drop that out for green tea.

I've had a litre of water already and will try for at least 1 more.

I've got some lamb steaks, a cesar salad, an aubergine, mushrooms, padron peppers, mediterranean veg mix so I've got decent things in for dinner.

So yesterday after that omelette I had a few olives and a couple of slices of chorizo. Then lamb steaks, med veg mix, mushrooms and padron peppers. Then a greek yoghurt and a tiny bit of honey. Had 2l water.

This morning I was 191.1lbs.

Semi made it through another day. Not perfect but better than a few days ago.

Tea and 2 biscuits (26 cal, 3 carbs each).
Omelette as yesterday.
Cesar salad without the crutons and some homemade roast chicken. The chicken from the salad tub and the crutons will go in the dogs dinner tomorrow.
Greek yoghurt and a smidgeon of honey.

Another tea and 2l water.

190.6 lbs this morning. Today I've had:

Tea, 2 dust biscuits 😂 they are actually alright once you get used to them and forget what normal biscuits taste like.

A little bit of cheese, a tiny bit of chorizo, olives, ham, gherkin.

Tea and an exante product, with egg and baking powder, made into a cake.

Chicken, coleslaw, homemade jalepeno sauce.

20g dark chocolate with cocoa nibs in.

Nearly 2l water.
Another tea.

No exercise. I was planning on going to the gym in the morning but need to carry on with a bit of a deep clean at home, before work.

Great progress well done. Can you feel that you're getting lighter?

I'm 160.3 today so the usual post weekend spike.

No real plans to lose weight this week. Just want to not gain so levelling around 160lb give or take is the plan.

Having a bit of diet fatigue I think so want to ease off a little without undoing the work.

I can relate to diet fatique!

I'm feeling less bloated and my energy is coming back, and inflammation is going down. I've only noticed my ankle troubling me today when I was getting down on the floor cleaning, although I haven't been out and worn shoes since saturday morning. But I reckon I might be able to go back to the gym by the end of the week.

I was awake til 4 or 5 o'clock this morning but feel ok so maybe I'm getting back into ketosis.

Yesterday I had some smoked sausage for breakfast.
Tea
cheese, chorizo, olives for lunch.
a tiny biscuit that they give you in cafes with a cup of tea.
chicken, salad, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, crispy onions, coleslaw for dinner.
greek yoghurt and honey.

2l water.

Star week started yesterday though, so with the HRT fuck knows what is going on there. But I'm putting the 2.2 lb rise down to that.

I'm getting fed up of this now but my ankle is finally better, I can walk properly in trainers now so I might go to the gym tomorrow. I did want to go swimming and in the sauna tomorrow afternoon as I'm finishing at lunchtime. TMI alert:
I might crack out the mooncup and go anyway.

Yesterday's food:

Tea and a small donut, literally 3-4 cm across.
Homemade chicken, veg, sweetcorn soup. Have half left for today.
Tea and a couple of dust biscuits.
Pork steak, courgette, mushrooms, all cooked in the same pan in the oven, the mushrooms were delicious 😋
Greek yoghurt and honey.

1.5l water.

Do you know why your weight is creeping up? Are you getting enough water?

Mine is back up to 160.8 purely because I've been over indulging.

Actually feeling bloated with it too so want to drinks loads this week.

Probably lack of movement and rubbish kreeping back, I'm going to have to get back in to a gym routine asap now I'm working from home. I did my shopping on Friday and haven't been out since. I've been sat on the sofa eating crap, watching tv all weekend.

196.6 lbs this morning.

I'm not going to fast again but I'm going to do a week of shakes/products. There's 28 days until christmas, and I need to get some weight off and my energy back so I can get back to the gym.

I tried with some weights the other day and I can lift if I raise my arms out to the side, but not if they are out in front of me so the tennis elbow is still putting a no go on any arm weights.

Just looked back and we started this thread three months ago. As you say just 28 days until Christmas 🎄

Would be great to do a bit more by then.

I think I'm just going to have to be quite strict on 'normal' days. No treats.
