@SunshineCake that's my 5th load running now and then I'm pretty much caught up. Wet laundry piled up (as I said getting stuff dry is the tricky part as I just have the airer)
Until it piles up again no I need to stop letting it! It's just not a chore I enjoy!
Hope you get your whoosh!
Interesting re almonds getting a delivery tomorrow so may add them to the list
2 days of my new method and I haven't been super good but trying to eat like a slim person would (I've still had pizza, chocolate and crisps) and...
2 lbs down!
I've not gone mad I think is the key and I am eating meals/dishes/items that I would eat if cal counting so know they're low cal
Thin crust pizza (and kept the rest of the day sensible and light)
Curly wurly and Jaffa cake bars were the choc
Twiglets and frazzles were the crisps
I think being busy doing laundry and other chores also helped! Partly as distraction, partly as physical activity.
Hoping to head out for a swim today once that laundry cycle is finished
@TheRealHousewife thank you hoping I can keep this up!
@Gakatsbsk well done on managing period without succumbing to carb cravings that's tough!
@ginsparkles weight is only one factor in our size. Body shape and muscle tone also make a difference. I once had an aerobics teacher (yep long time ago!) who (with their permission) had 5 of the class who were the same height (roughly) and weight on scales come out the front and they looked very different sizes depending on how fit/toned they were
Different clothes make a difference too of course. I know now what styles and shapes suit me. Unfortunately current fashions are the total opposite of what flatters me! (Whatever size/weight I am I am always an apple shape!) make me look bloody pregnant!
I suit fitted tailored styles best - wrap dresses and skirts, a line cuts, fitted waist tops/shirts/blouses, slim fit trousers and jeans - certainly not baggy frills and flounces and smocking which is everywhere at the moment!
Dress sizes not being standardised really doesn't help matters! Drives me nuts! Plus with being short trouser lengths are often too long for me. I wish they measured womens clothes like mens in cm or inches be much easier to know if something will likely fit
