Greece sounds lovely. When you thinking?

Gensola · 14/04/2022 10:31

life we are going in early July as soon as DH gets off work, it’s actually before our wedding reception which isn’t til August but as we are already actually married we thought we might as well take advantage of cheaper prices in July!
Broadband man has just arrived so hopefully I’ll be out of jail soon!

Mrsmadevans · 14/04/2022 14:23

Not2bObvious · 16/04/2022 15:19

Hello from away! Holiday home scales has me at 167-168 over the course of the week. I didn't weigh until around Tuesday and I'd shot up to 167.8 then.
I'm counting yesterday's 167 as my Friday weigh in so a gain of 4.6 on doing an average of 14,500 steps daily and a hundred million cals... actually around 3,000 a day (😩) I'm not quite in 600lb life territory but I'm at the races. Any-who, today's the last day so come next Friday I'll be less than that.
The first world problem of the year, next holiday in 6 weeks....send help & ice cubes as that's my diet going forward😉
p.s Had a lovely time & regret nothing😬

Hahaha not enjoy every minute!! I had a massive calorie load at DH birthday dinner - tapas, much booze. Suspect was close to 3000 for the day. PT is not amused 😂

Mrsmadevans · 16/04/2022 15:48

Good afternoon everyone 😊
Hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend and having a day off the diet and enjoying them selves. ☺️
Not a lot willbefluid retention you know , just wait and see 🤗
Glad to hear from you lovely 😊

Not2bObvious · 16/04/2022 17:29

Thanks gen & mrs, my fluid retention is strangely uniform, hit abroad = immediate 5lb gain! By maths I should have gained 1-2lb, which would mean back to base 162.4 by....March 2023. All negativism aside, l'll head home tomorrow, eat all the eggs and be back on target come Monday - despite BH

Hello.

Me again. Ha!

Signed up for mfp premium for the year. Am going to get this weight down. I don’t have a huge amount to lose. But it’s difficult. Snacking is my key thing. And booze. So.

Starting tomorrow morning. Going for a run.

Gensola · 18/04/2022 00:12

Hi em Smile how have you been? I’ve fallen off the other thread 😱
Back in NI visiting the folks for a few days but hoping to stay at least at maintenance. So much chocolate everywhere though, argh!

ememem84 · 18/04/2022 08:30

All good thanks. Back home now after building work finished. The last 9 weeks have been stressful. I lost weight then plopped it back on - hen do in dublin parties and now chocolate and not much exercise.

So. Been for a run this morning. Currently on 4309 steps.

Not2bObvious · 18/04/2022 13:14

Nice to see you back em.
Did my first bodypump in 2 weeks, I'd say that I'll be achy come tomorrow. Did a 9,000 step walk after it so that'll do me (and I'm showered and PJ'ed so unlikely to go out again) Post holiday weigh in coming in at 168 - so considering I was 167 on Friday first thing and I had 2 days indulgence plus travel day yesterday that's ok. Anyway next Friday is my official weigh day so today's just a check in.
Hope you're enjoying being home gen, oh I know soo much chocolate! Too easy to keep popping in the gob

Nice to see you back Em & Not 😊
You will soon get the weight off Not have a lovely relaxing day today 😊
Gen have a lovely time with the fam ☺️
We are all starting anew here today so ham salad tonight it is! 😊

Not2bObvious · 19/04/2022 09:42

Good for you having ham salad mrs, I had a really nice chicken dish which was diet cals but full of flavour.
Started the day with a brisk walk, had to wrap up warm - but lovely & sunny giving me over 6,500 as a starting point for step. As I'll be chained to the desk for the day, it was needed! Food planned and staying on track despite too much Easter egg last night. Only a little left, should finish it off tonight. The sacrifices I make 😂

Mrsmadevans · 19/04/2022 09:44

Thank you Not it's a beautiful day glad your choc nearly gone 🤗 well done on the steps. 👏
Hope everyone is doing well 👍

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/04/2022 17:15

Mixed steps here. Food mwah ha ha

Mrsmadevans · 19/04/2022 17:23

It will come Life it's just a small blip called Easter Easter Smile

Not2bObvious · 19/04/2022 19:30

I thought you were on holidays life?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 19/04/2022 22:45

Sorry didn't finish my post! Surely holiday cals don't count? I pretty much lost count daily😂 If you are away, hope you're having fun.
Got another walk in after dinner so 15,000'ish steps and left around 160 cals behind, even left a bit of egg for tomorrow. Due a Wednesday weight check - fingers x'ed a bit of the bloat is dissipating

ememem84 · 20/04/2022 07:16

minimal steps yesterday. As the kids had helpfully passed on a tummy bug. Added bonus of weight loss….

working from home today as don’t quite feel well enough to sit in the office. But will try and do a walk at lunchtime.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/04/2022 10:20

Yes I am on holiday and the food is mmmmmm. Lots of delicious pasta yesterday, pain Au chocolate for breakfast, fresh bread for lunch

Not2bObvious · 20/04/2022 16:03

I adore the holiday carbs, something special about them.
Having a really off humour day. Dragged myself for a walk, forced myself through a dumbbell workout and while I regret neither, they didn't bring me any joy. Just one of them days! Nothing specific wrong, more a plethora of micro irritations. I suspect my hormones are awry. I've fought the urge to eat excessively but it's tempting
