I know you're exaggerating on the 10,000 cals life, but I just thought imagine eating that...oh wow I'd bloody love that. I'm sitting here fantasising about chocolate/crisps/Chinese and ehhh...Champagne! All the C's.
Sorry about the stress & tiredness, hope it lifts and you've your holiday coming up, fingers x'ed you can switch off. Two sleeps to go til mine.

Exiting not. Yes I’m exaggerating as it was not too bad,
Usual healthy breakfast, bacon sandwiche, enchilada and. Packet of mini eggs, quavers and a apple.

Both dc home today and I’ve lost the plot frankly

Gensola · 07/04/2022 08:05

life that doesn’t sound too bad! I love mini eggs, will have to treat myself to a bag sometime soon. I got DH some peanut butter filled dark choc mini eggs as he prefers dark to milk choc, for his Easter morning surprise 😁
Going into town today for DH dentist appt, I’m going with so I can wander the shops and have a nice coffee while he’s in being tortured.
Trying to drink more water - I’m good at work as I keep a chillys bottle on my desk and sip at it all day, plus teaching makes your throat dry so I find it easy but in the hols sometimes I realise all I have had is a few sips at meals and all my other actual drinks are coffee or tea.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/04/2022 09:50

It’s not really tbh and I’m being kind to myself

Not2bObvious · 07/04/2022 18:04

Weigh in at doctor has me down 9lb since the visit in Jan - 10 weeks ago.
Celebrating with a Chinese and having a glass of wine a day early. Balance innit?

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/04/2022 18:17

That’s great not

Totally lost it here
Food chocolate food, all In my mouth

Not2bObvious · 07/04/2022 18:43

Thanks life, if I'd gone after the week away I doubt the news would have been as good. Only ate around half the Chinese as it wasn't that great & I wasn't wasting cals I could spend on a glass of wine with some lovely choc. I'm not weighing tomorrow, next time will be the 20th of April. I'm going to trust myself...regret may follow 😧

not that’s fantastic, you must be thrilled! I have also had wine - 2 small glasses, and dinner was a delicious but stodgy gnocchi, bacon, mushroom and spinach bake with cheese over it. I think I’ve not quite gotten out of holiday mode!!
life if I had had any chocolate it would have been munched. Almost sent DH to shop for mini eggs 😅 but he’s been painting and other DIY all day so had mercy on him. Saved by my own sloth as too lazy to go myself 😅😅.

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2022 07:37

Decided to do a weight check as I had stayed on calories and steps all week. Even taking into account 2 x small wines & Chinese/chocolate last night.
Down .6, so now under my Christmas weights and 162.4 - absolutely thrilled. 4.4 down since being in the zone, it's been around 5 weeks. Averaging 1700-1750 cals, averaging between 11,000-13,000 steps a day. No booze, no excessive takeaways, but outside of that pretty doable. Travel day today which is always a challenge, something about airports & flying make me hungry. I'll do my best to make good choices, I've plenty of days ahead to indulge - save my appetite for the good stuff, not airport fare!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/04/2022 17:49

Great work not

Not2bObvious · 09/04/2022 07:07

Thanks very much guys. Long day of travel, early to airport coupled with delayed flight meant from home to holiday destination took 10 hours. I've only managed around 5 hours sleep but not fighting it, up with a cuppa with sun coming up. Bit of a junk day yesterday but looking forward to nice holiday eats from here on in. It'll soon be time for a walk with the bigger child and then stock up on a few essentials at the shops. Happy Saturday all😬

15k steps

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/04/2022 07:11

And pizza

Right 5 days on track

Gensola · 11/04/2022 07:20

I’ve been over on cals both Sat and Sun - I don’t think wildly but defo not in course for a loss. We had neighbours over for dinner on Sat and then Sun it was lunch with old friends, it’s hard tbh as I want to enjoy life and not be a bore sitting there on water while everyone else has wine! But I’m only about 8 pounds from goal and I need to keep my eyes on the prize. It will be easier once I’m back at work the week after Easter, in term time I get into a much better routine.
life we can do this!

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/04/2022 07:30

Me to gen about 5 would do me.
Yes let’s do it

Happierwithouthim · 11/04/2022 16:35

Happy Holidays not
gen if indulging with your friends just delays reaching target by a week or two I'd enjoy it.

life don't beat yourself up about it, being home with dc is hard going sometimes Wink

I got that fitbit rash so didn't wear it from Thurs night until this morning. Friday I did my local walk which is 4.1 miles with the dog. Sat I stayed in bed for way longer than I should but did a 2 hour walk on the beach and bypassed breakfast and lunch so I think that should boost me.

Yesterday I was home with dc, food was a bit scattered.

Today at work I'm bored, I've attacked my colleague's stash and had a pack of salt and vinegar hunky dorys and a treat size twirl plus the small remnant of rocky road that was in the fridge, I prefer my choc room temp so it was wasted on me to be honest.

Good to be back on the thread

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/04/2022 17:50

I’m ok today day off work , much needed and nearly 18k steps and a body pump. Will back track food but should be on point

Gensola · 14/04/2022 08:52

Stuck in today waiting for BT engineer with the ridiculous 7am-1pm window 🙄 DH is going to MILs as she has a hospital appt so he is gone most of the day. It’s his birthday tomorrow - tapas restaurant booked and I’m making a cake today so that’s more calories I don’t need! Term can’t start again soon enough tbh.
Hoping to get a body pump class and a spin in while waiting for BT man.
We have started booking (re booking!) our honeymoon which we have cancelled twice due to covid lol - Greece here we come! Two weeks, bookended in Athens with 10ish days on an island. Flights and Athens accommodation booked so just need to find accommodation on the island then book ferry.
It’s a horrible grey day here - where is the spring?
