Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

Yes 12 is the maximum that you can have in the bank, and they also recommend that you don't go over your points on any one day by more than 8 points, although I have on a couple of occasions (I really enjoyed the 43 point day ).

You can choose whether or not to bank points on any day though, and I tend bank all my left-over ponts and half my bonus points. If I'm having a hungry day and eat all my points and half my bonus points then I don't bank the other half of bonus points. It just seems to work better for me then either ignoring all my bonus points or eating all my bonus points.

Did you enjoy the wine and crisps?

Experimented today with filo mince parcels in a quest to not go to over the top at christmas and they are superb, better than pastry made mince pies and at only 1 1/2 points a go you can have two!!

can i join this thread? i put on over 4 stone with my baby (now 11 weeks) and have started on the weight watchers diet. i did it once before a few years ago and lost weight, but very slowly, about 1/2 point each week. i cant afford to go to the classes, so im doing it myself, and have still got the calculator and shopping guide from 2002. I seem to remember last time that i got told off by my leader for not eating the full amount of points each day she said i woudlnt lose weight unless i ate all the points, is that right? i have been doing it for 3 weeks and lost 5lbs so far. have been combinig it with going to the gym every other day, but i am really unfit, and dont do much, so not sure how much it counts - is anyone else doing exercise as well, or can you lose without too much exercise?! sorry for all the questions!!!!

I lost 4lb

this means that I now have 16lb to loose in 11 weeks rather than 20lb in 12 weeks

Not quite a 'kayleiugh' but I am still very very pleased

how is everyone else?

lilibet well done. That's fantastic. You clever girl .

littlemel, welcome. I don't exercise at all apart from the odd walk around the shops. Hate it. Might start swimming once the weight loss slows down. Am not expecting to lose this week as my period is due so would be happy to stay the same.

Hi cariboo. I don't think it matters how slowly you lose it as long as it's coming off !

I also put on weight when my period is due. I'm due on today and going to get weighed tomorrow and just know i will have gained. I also know it will come off next week - but it is always a huge downer to put on/stay the same when you know you have been good. And for me I always find it hugely de-motivating.

lilibet, was talking to Marina on another thread just 5 mins ago saying I would probably email her this afternoon for some one to one support as i am due on today and have the most awful sugar cravings. If someone walked past me right now with a bar of chocolate in their hands I would wrestle them to the floor.

Have got some lychees in the fridge but i just know they aint gonna do it for me.

hi all fellow weightwatchers..
am doin ww too and after weigh in today i've lost a total of 11 lbs in 4 weeks so i am well pleased with myself!! have 16lbs more to go to target but its looking more and more possible as the weeks go on..
always find i crave sugar too when i've monthlies,
dont do much excercise as i cant seem to find the time with work and 2 kids.. really could do with starting some tho as i really could do with some serious toning up!! DS is now 9.5 mths and i STILL have "baby bag" on tummy
Does it ever go????
and the stretch marks? do they have life span or are they eternally mine???
Now i've managed to depress myself and i started out in great form!!

bran -
sorry to butt in but I think it was furball's suggestion for a festive name for you!

I have finally reached the 50 pound mark - I've lost 51 pounds since I started WW 14 months ago.
One stone to go!
