Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

i just thought about my last post and i hope i didnt offend you by saying that, i meant it in a good way, as obvioulsy i know everyone who is on this thread wouldnt be if they didnt feel that way - and i know its not about how much we weigh but how we feel about ourselves.

a few years ago weighed the same as i do now, and i did look vetter for it, i think the weight has distributed itself in very different places!

if you have the willpower to go (which i think you do dior) i can highly recommend the gym. last time i lost weight iwas going on a regular basis, and wasnt really weighing myself or being to strict on weight watchrs and it made an absoluteyl amazing difference. i think its really good for people who have got to the end of their diets and need that extr kick to tone up etc. good luck!!

ps i am starting a new thread becaus ei am too impatient to wiat for this long one!! please join me!! xx

shall we start a new thread as a continuation of this one - i am finding it takes ages to load up and ages when you click on add message now there are so many messages, or is this just my computer?

i havent trie switch, but i dont think its for me to be honest. i know weight watchers works, but i get bored really easliy and i am wondering if i need a change.

dior - i remember you saying that you were about 9stone? well you are certainly not fat in my opinion (i was really shocked when i read that and my initial reactionwas What are you doing on this thread?!)- that is my goal, and i wsa meant to hav reached it by 1st april, but at the moment i weigh 10st 2lbs. Hmm.....!! xx

wozzle - well done!

I have to admit I have to do full points I just can't go without treats It does encourage my bad eating 'binge then eat nothing else' pattern though

I do like being able to eat what I want, but just have a little bit though.

Weigh in today - lost 1 lb Rather happy with this, as I haven't been for 4 weeks due to ds being ill (they made me pay for them all though grr!)

In total I've lost 10lb since I joined in January... only 4 more till goal...

Well, at least I'm not the only human weight-watcher around! I've been going every week since last August and have only lost about 10lbs. I lose a few, gain a few back, lose a few, gain a few back... WW must be raking in the cash! What I would REALLY like is one of those point trackers that you can only get in the UK. I belong to WeightWatchers.co.uk (an excellent site, BTW) but you can only pay for things by using a UK based credit card. Wah! If someone would buy one for me, I could send them a cheque... Natwest, dh's bank account but our home address is in Switzerland.

sansouci, I am having a "break" at the moment as just cannot seem to get it together. Start every day with good intentions but as soon as any temptation comes my way ....I'm done for

I love the idea of WW; the balanced food plans, reasonable consumption of ANYTHING YOU FANCY but it doesn't work without counting the points. I start my week full of good intentions & then gradually stop keeping track. I know I HAVE to keep track but how to be so self-diciplined? BTW, I'm having a real problem with self-dicipline ATM... see "how much is too much" thread. I know unlimited quantities of wine is not going to help me lose weight or keep track of my points. If I drink, I eat. Please, is their someone out there doing WW who has trouble or are you all perfect?

Thanks!

I have a massive cold at the moment... can't taste a thing! Good opportunity to eat less and hopefully lose another pound or two!

Don't know about anyone else but I found sticking to my points so much easier today with a bit of warmth and sunshine to inspire me. I still haven't shifted that Xmas "put back on" weight and was feeling really despondent about it and on the point of burning all my WW stuff. And I went to Pizza Express last night and ate loads. I need Spring to have truly sprung - I'm sure that will help get me back on track.

Oh and WELL DONE Emkana...hooray!!!

Hello everyone...Lost 4lbs this week, even though I demolished 8, yes 8 jam tarts at ds2 1st birthday party.

Taking it very easy for the next week just in case those jams tarts come back to haunt me! I walked 2 miles today and another 2 tomorrow...

If im not a runner bean this time next year then Iam giving up hope.
