Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

hi wozzle1

lost 2pound this week and no i never even went to the loo before hand so it could be more....

eidsvold · 10/03/2005 23:16

well done everyone who lost... any loss is a good loss.....

DH just reminded me that I had been doing ww in the UK before I fell pregnant with dd2 and had lost 2 stone then so it works out that I have lost three stone in total... some doubling up with the bit I put on when pregnant.....

Can't believe it.

Dior that is brilliant - silver 7's are fab... our leader in the Uk also gave us a small polished stone for each one we lost!!!

SecondhandRose · 11/03/2005 11:30

Just been weighed in, have lost 1lb. Am now 12 stone exactly but was desperate to get to 11 stone 13lb. Am still really positive and have lost 17lb since beginning of Dec.

Keep going everyone.

I haven't been for 3 weeks due to illness (going to owe them a small fortune I don't have...)

My goal is 8st 12 and I was 9st 13 when I joined. I was 9st 4 at last weighin, although went down to 8st 10 thanks to gastro - but I don't look any skinnier than when I was 10st 8 just before joining WW (although how I lost 9lb in like 2 days I'll never know I wasn't dieting!)

I still somedays look just as big, and with big wobbly thighs (and huge boobs - argh a friend promised they would get smaller and they didn't!) I do worry I'll get down to my target weight and still not be happy - but I really do not look skinny I am still really flabby! It confuses me I don't want to end up with an eating disorder or anything but I don't see how these 6lb I need to lose, which I did last week and was still flabby - which would put me at a BMI of maybe 22? is the right weight?

No idea. Just want no fat but don't think it will happen!

lunavix · 13/03/2005 21:02

I'm sorry that was such a ramble wasn't it!

Dior - I know how you feel hun. Spose we just need to keep on with it.

lucykatie · 13/03/2005 21:31

LUNAVUIX AND DIOR.........come on ladies dont give up.

TODAY I HAD A FAT DAY AND HATE MYSELF AND MY BODY, YESTERDAY WAS A THIN DAY AND I FELT GREAT.

ITS NORMAL TO HAVE GOOD DAYS AND BAD, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE DO NOT GIVE IN, I BET YOU BOTH LOOK GREEEEEAAAATTTTTT.

IF YOU GIVE IN I WILL BE CROSS AS I AM ON WW AND DOING OK, ITS COMING OFF SLOWLY BUT I AM DETERMINED TO GET ON A BEACH THIS SUMMER IN A BLOODY BIKINI.

I know I couldn't do no count... it's not so much I that I wouldn't stop when I feel full, but I couldn't restrict myself from a few naughty snacks here and there.

Having said that I haven't counted my points since my last weigh in am not looking forward to Wednesday.

lucykatie · 14/03/2005 12:57

not looked at the concept behind no count, but i gather that you eat what you like untill full......no good for me then as i would talk myself into feeling hungry all the time....i would NEED that mars bar.

points system ok for me as it makes me look at what i am eating and it gives me a guilt trip if i go over the points.

fairycakes · 14/03/2005 15:07

lunavix and dior, dont give up! of course all your hard work is worth it, look at some phots of yourselves before you started WW and I bet you will notice a HUGE difference!!

Just before i got pregnant with DD i lost quite a lot on WW and when i look at photos before i lost i am amazed how fat i was, then when i now look at photos of before i got pregnant i am amazed how thin i am, yet i still actually thought i was about the same size!

i looked in the mirror today and thought i can believe how disgusting my body is - fat, wobbly, stretch marks, yuk! - and i felt like giving up. but then i looked at some photos and thought i want to look like that again, and i will do!!

(although i must admit to a terrible sin i commited last night - i woke up at 3am went donstairs to get a drink, and ended up eating 2 marsbar icecreams!! how bad is that?!!)

Diro you have done soooo well - and you are sooo close - it can seem like a real drag when you have taken so long to lose and have a lot to lose ( says she who has tonnes to lose!!!)

Look at some before pics and health wise you have done an amazing thing for yourself, your body and your children!! I am sure one of the WW books tells you what health benefits come with weight loss - just can't find it at the moment.

You are my inspiration!!!!

eidsvold · 14/03/2005 22:43

who is diro ( note to self preview woman!!)

lunavix - you too have done so well. It sometimes takes a while for our head to see exactly what is there - we get so used to seeing our oldbodies that it takes a while for our mental picture to change. As someone else said - get out some before pics and you will see the difference. That worked for me when I could not see a change after losing 2 stone - I got out some pics and I could see the difference.

Keep going - you too are sooo close.

fairycakes · 15/03/2005 18:38

id agree with eidsvold Dior, you are inspirational to me too as you always keep everyone motivated and do so well, the last 7lbs will seem hard to lose but it'll be worth it in the end!!

After 18 months I have finally done it =
I've reached my WW target weight and I'm now a gold member! Yeah!
I've lost 62 1/2 pounds altogether. I'm so THRILLED! I'm still quite heavy, i.e. at the top of the allowed healthy weight range, and hopefully I'll lose a few more pounds. But for now I'm very pleased and very proud!

In fact I'm so pleased with myself that I'll also start a separate thread
