I really need to sort myself out. I look and feel a mess, hardly any of my clothes fit me.

I've had enough of feeling this way so have decided to do something about it.

Just hit my 50's and want to get back into doing my hair and make up and looking after myself.

A couple of stones need to be lost, I am about to get on the scales. It's been a long time coming 😁

Evening Friday. Girl's lunch - cheese and ham toastie. Chunky chips. JD and diet coke .ANOTHER carb fest. I need to keep out of the pub don't I? Chicken salad this evening. I will try harder tomorrow and hope to minimise the damage as much as possible over the weekend. I've got lovely baby girl knitting to do and online Christmas shopping so hope those 2 things will serve as a distraction. Please note NO exercise is happening over here. At least the rest of you will be doing better than me. I'll just get back on the wagon yet again and tie myself on this time. Despite the above I am feeling upbeat.

Not too awful of a weekend here. Lots if treats but my less than my usual pigging out. Busy week coming up at work this week so hopefully I'll not be snacking all week....

Ok so I'm ready now. Had my period and flu jab this weekend so now that's over with I'm ready. Just going to do mfp and 10000 steps a day and see how I go. Aim is to get to the end of the week successfully. I'm not even looking at the scales.

Ha! Ha! @DaisyNGO well done that's at least half a pound more than me.... I can't even bring myself to get on the scales and it's my weight day again tomorrow. Gulp.
I seriously need to get my act together. There is far too much "life getting in the way" going on over here.

reckless well, you don't know till you check, it might be fine

I just feel as if eating normally shouldn't take up headspace, if that makes sense

when you say about life getting in the way, I completely see what you mean, but then I find myself wondering why eating less should be so problematic

we are trying to move and I have lost weight in stressful situations before but it just comes back on, it's all stress hormones. Usually stressful situations, for me, means a lot of chocolate bars but stress burns it all up, I think.

I’m here! I’ve done well on the exercise front, have been for a walk, run or bike ride every day. The fresh air and exercise makes me really hungry and I find it difficult not to eat loads! I haven’t lost any weight at all but I feel a lot better and that’s the main thing I was aiming for.

Well done! I didn't do so well on food, we were away looking at properties yesterday but there was a lot of walking involved. I've been to the gym today and food has been okay.

I pinched a bit of DC cake icing yesterday and didn't like it. If my sweet tooth is going, that will be really helpful. Normally I love cake icing i.e. concentrated sugar!!

Re exercise, I once tried weight training with heavier weights, for a challenge. I really enjoyed it but was crazy hungry all the time. It's a shame because I found it really therapeutic. But it actually got irritating to be that hungry and have to eat a load of chicken or whatever.

I am doing HIIT at the mo and that doesn't make me hungry which is good.

I'm doing okay food wise and even made a curry/veg soup today.

I've quickly adapted to no carbs or crap and no longer crave for them. If anything I should be eating more but unless I've had a drink the night before I'm rarely getting hungry.

Exercise is another matter entirely. I'm doing 0.

I ate less than usual again yesterday but really got to stick with that 7 days a week. Gah.

After losing 1lb last week, this week I'm due on and have lost 0 pounds.

But started a more structured plan today with less carbs. That's going to be interesting...

I’m with you DaisyNGO just been only reading but felt you could do with some support! I’ve been healthy eating since 1st Sept, doesn’t
sound as depressing as dieting, lost 18lb, through sheer bloody digging deep every day, huge support from family, I’ve been a lardarse far too long and health wise can only be a bonus as I’m getting on a bit😀

Still trying but not getting anywhere! I haven’t lost a single pound although I feel as though I’ve drastically cut down on eating rubbish and do more exercise. I think I need Myfitness pal or similar.

@NoraLuka I got seriously demoralised because I started exercising, cut my calories down to 1000 and drastically reduced carbs and plateaued for 2 weeks then put on 1/2lb. I was about to give up then lost 3lbs overnight. I guess it's not going to be linear.
