@66babe oh ok. When you are sending a message there should be a little paper clip symbol. Press on it and you can add photos from either your camera roll or just take a new photo. You don't have to be premium member.

I managed to get the steps in as I took the dog for a walk which was just over 4000 steps and took 29 minutes.

73kittycat73 · 03/07/2021 19:59

@Tynks

Brace yourself!
Yay, well done! Star I've managed to do 5079 steps today. Went on quite a big walk earlier. Well done on your 6K plus 66babe! Star Have started packing...Grin
Tynks · 03/07/2021 20:15

Well done @73kittycat73 ⭐️

Whiteinsteadofcream · 04/07/2021 11:44

This thread is fun. Can I join?

muddledmidget · 04/07/2021 11:56

Hi, I'd love to join you too, if you don't mind. I've just come back from a week away with my sisters, and I was definitely the largest out of us, and it had a full length mirror, which I don't have at home. Not sure when my bum got as big as it has!

I've set a goal of losing 3st by next May, to get me back down to 9st7, although at the moment I'd settle for just having a BMI that wasn't obese!

I'm setting myself mini goals, with rewards, the first goal is 12st, which will be highlights in my hair. 10st7 gets me to healthy BMI, and that will be the Dyson hairdryer that I've been coveting, but can't justify spending £300 on....

Would love to join a fit it challenge, although it's currently on my wrist, it's gone flat, and I can't be bothered to walk upstairs and charge it! Weight loss always work better if I'm achieving 10k steps a day.

73kittycat73 · 04/07/2021 12:03

Thank you Tynks. Smile
Hi Whiteinsteadofcream. Smile Hi muddledmidget. I like the sound of you treats, that's a really good idea and incentive. Star
You OK today 66babe?

Tynks · 04/07/2021 12:09

Hello @muddledmidget and @Whiteinsteadofcream

How's everyone doing today?

66babe · 04/07/2021 13:56

Everyone welcome here

No food porn please any more news on the orange Cadbury's previously mentioned ?

Well I have given myself a real good talking to this weekend
Need to stop being the joker all the time and work this out
Yesterday I bought a nice long shirt and some of those Mom jeans in the sale in New Look , I bought the size that fit me rather than the size I want to buy and hope that one day I can wear them

Today I have cleaned all my house , been to Tesco and bought a weeks worth of proper food with one packet of biscuits

I'm now having a coffee and chicken sandwich with salad one one pack of crisps

If it stays dry I'm going out to cut the grass and tidy the garden which will get my steps up a bit more - on about 6000 just now

Going to try what @73kittycat73 said .. I'm not on a diet , perhaps if I'm not failing at anything ill stop sabotaging myself because I feel so crap

My real aim for the week is not to jump in the car and drive to the nearest coop buying rubbish

Hope everyone is well and having a nice Sunday ! 💐

66babe · 04/07/2021 14:13

Oh and forgot to say .. I've weighed again this morning and will keep to a Sunday weigh in from now on

Love the sound of the treats .. would definitely love one of those Dyson hairdryers ! 😀.

Maybe that's a good way forward for us all .. @Tynks you get yours first as already 4 lbs down ? And Kitty I think you've lost a lot so far ?

I'm going to say ... if I have any loss next Sunday I'm going to treat myself to a pedicure

OP posts:
Tynks · 04/07/2021 15:48

@66babe loving the positive new you.

muddledmidget · 04/07/2021 16:32

@66babe glad you like the idea of rewards, and I'm going to include a manicure as one of mine, can't bear people (including myself) touching my feet, so a pedicure is out. In fact, if I actually braved filing all the calluses off my hooves I could probably lose enough to reach my highlight reward level!

Food is going OK today, but exercise is dire, only made it as far as Morrisons, but no orange buttons there (or any mushrooms, aubergines or potatoes, so that's my meal plan out the window). Trying to decide whether to book a session at the gym tomorrow, but that would mean sorting all my stuff out and the lazy me can't be bothered. Maybe I'll see which session is looking the quietest when I get up in the morning

73kittycat73 · 04/07/2021 19:17

Wow 66babe, that's so positive! Star You must have had a good word with yourself as that turnaround is incredible. Smile Well done you! I'm proud of you. I hope you are proud of yourself?!
I'm, going to weigh myself not this Monday but next. I'll have to think of a non food treat to treat myself too.

66babe · 04/07/2021 19:20

Thank you 🙏

First time I've got over 10,000 in a while
Spent far too many hours lay on the couch feeling sorry for myself stuffing my face
Need to do this more often

Tynks · 04/07/2021 19:28

@66babe that is fantastic. Really proud of my twin.

When I woke up this morning my Fitbit strap had managed to break during the night. I've ordered a new strap and it will be here tomorrow.

I walked the dog and went food shopping so I've done a fair few steps.

66babe · 04/07/2021 19:32

That's great @Tynks hope you're still feeling motivated moving into a new week ... so jealous of your 4lbs ! 🤭🤭🤭
Happy for you though ...
Hope it's catching !

Tynks · 04/07/2021 20:00

@66babe yes I am still motivated and sticking to the plan

73kittycat73 · 04/07/2021 20:30

Yay, go you 66babe! Star 10K plus is amazing! You're doing so well. Smile
Well done on your steps too Tynks. Star
I've done my exercises for today but didn't go for a walk. Felt a bit tired. Yoga tomorrow night though.
TMI ALERT: Got to wait in for a handy man tomorrow. I'm really annoyed about it actually. I phoned the landlords office Saturday morning to say that mine, and my mums loo, was backing up when flushed and the drains needed looking at. Waited all day, no one came and no one would pick up the phone to the landlords. Woke up this morning and the bowl is full of tissue and mess. It's lucky my mum lives next door or I wouldn't have a loo to use! It's so annoying as it could have been fixed yesterday and avoided all this. [mad]

66babe · 04/07/2021 21:03

Oh no Kitty 🤨 how frustrating ! Yuck ...
here we go .. a fresh new week .. bring it on 🤞🏻
