Feel fat bloated sweaty ugly unfit and just bloody awful
Have been trying forever to become motivated and do better .. but I can't seem to get into the right frame of mind
I know exactly how to eat healthy
I know exactly how to move more
Just need a massive kick up theatre to get me going ...
I've hit rock bottom so just finished off 4 cookies to make me feel better 😩😩😩
If it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny

@66babe it sounds like you NEEDED to write all that. Hugs, it sounds like you need them. And kindness. But most of all you need to be kind to yourself.
Sounds like you’ve given your all to everyone else recently; if everyone is taking from you and your strength and patience, you need to keep you topped up with the things that bring you peace and comfort. I get it xxx

I've got a cold, had a massive headache all day yesterday and today am sneezing and snotty and feel delicate. I've not had a cold for five or so years. On the plus side I don't feel hungry at all.

Oh no, MX55! Sorry to hear about your cold. I hope your headache clears up soon, and your cold goes asap.
I'm quite proud of myself this morning. When I woke at 3am I was starving, but, I have stuck to my fast and have only drunk water and eaten nothing. I'm quite amazed actually. Grin

Well, I've well and truly fallen off the wagon today, the day before weigh in! I felt really bad earlier, really bad hot flushes that left me drenched, then cold and shivers and was freezing. Felt weak and light headed and dizzy too. Thought it might be blood sugar so crammed in about 1000 calories of chocolate and sweet food. It made a bit of a difference but not much. Went for a lie down and feel a little better but still ill. Wondering whether or not to cancel tomorrows yoga. (You have to give at least 24 hours notice.)
You OK 66babe? You've gone quiet. I hope you feel OK? I know before when I've shared how I feel I feel a bit weird about it afterwards. I hope that's not the case for you. Flowers Do come back and chat, it's OK to have shared what you did, it took guts. Star

You may be ok for weigh in if it was a one off ...
You doing so well in general would be a shame to let one episode spoil that so you just get yourself into that downward dog or tortoise or whatever it is you yoga people do and carry on

Just keep an eye on that blood sugar lovely , are you type 2 ?
Wouldn't it be fab if you could reverse that with your continued weight loss ? It's very possible and would be a great result for you

Sorry @73kittycat73 that you are feeling rough. I would cancel yoga and just concentrate on feeling well. You don't want to be worrying about yoga, it will still be there when you are feeling better.

How are you feeling now?

Thank you both. Smile I have cancelled yoga. I'm feeling a lot better than earlier, thanks. I won't let it put me off 66babe, and thank you for the kind words. Flowers I am a type 2 but I don't think it was a blood sugar crash, I think I might have picked up a bug from somewhere. Thanks also MX55 (It feels weird to call you that. Grin ) I think I will go to bed early again tonight (And hopefully not wake up at 3am again!) . Judging by the noise I heard last time England won the football match, I will know if we've won or lost. Smile

I am regularly up at 3/4am due to my twatty daughter, though she's been up since 2 today with a temp and sore tummy so I'll let her off..she's now on the sofa farting and singing a song about being bold.

My problem is I use it as my excuse to scoff and because I'm so tired it feels justifiable. I've thrown away most of last week but today is weigh day and I just have to learn to get through it and go to bed earlier til she's through the phase( she starts school in sept so I'm putting all my hopes on that sorting her out coz she will be knackered)

I've decided I'm not allowed excuses anymore. Who cares if I'm tired that's no reason to eat a cheesecake. (I haven't this time but it has been known) From now on I will give myself 1 day off a month and if I'm craving I will have to get a grip and wait til that day- it's going to be the day I start my period as we all deserve a break on that day!

I'm calling it my 'A day' A for allowance so it's not falling off the wagon or breaking diet or anything to send me off for the rest of the week.

@ChinnyMcChinnerson that sounds hard. Sleep deprivation is torture. I have a DD that starts school in September too - little madams at this age aren’t they?! Hope she feels better soon
A day plan sounds fab! As does a cheesecake. But that’s another matter 😋😄

I’ve done some food prep this morning - made a chilli with turkey mince and loads of veg for tomorrow evening - then I have no excuses for when I get home from work - just have to heat it and throw some rice or a jacket spud on.
Made the next two days lunches - chicken, broccoli and almond salad, and chopped loads of peppers, onions and courgette to roast for tea with some lamb kebabs. Have Wednesday off work so can regroup then but at least the next couple of days being planned and prepped ahead should mean I have less excuse to eat anything too stupid!!

Cancelled yoga, feel better than yesterday but still under the weather , thanks.
Binged last night....Two small tubs of Haagen Dazs, a double chocolate muffin and quite a few Celebrations chocolates. Sad
Weighed in today. I don't know if last nights binge had any impact on it but...I lost 2lb. I hope I don't sound sound insulting to anyone but I'm disappointed in that. Hardly a slither of chocolate has passed my lips these last two weeks and I exercised every day. Makes my goal weight (10st) seem so far away...I might weigh myself again tomorrow after being 'on plan' today and see if that makes a difference? Now the stats, BMI of 25.2 (So close!) under bust stayed the same, 36", hips an inch off now 41", and waste 2.5 inches off down to 36" and now within NHS guidelines.

I'm not sure if you can really lose more than 2lbs in a week properly though. As in you can lose more but it's just water from your liver and would go back on.

Thank you both. Smile It was a loss for two weeks though! Still on it though, I'm not giving up. I am going to cut down on exercising though. I wasn't listening to my body when it was tiered but I am now. I'll still do my two classes of yoga a week but only work out at home for three days a week, give myself the weekend off. Onwards and downwards as they say! Smile
How are you today 66babe? Don't worry if you haven't lost anything, I/we still want to hear from you, make sure you are OK. You've been really brave on this thread. Smile

Last time I did it *@73kittycat73* I put a pan of really hot water in the empty freezer and just soaked up the water regularly , swapping the pan a couple of times for hot water again and again .. keep a towel underneath to save your new carpet and maybe only do it in the Am when you are around all day ? I'm going to do mine the weekend now , you've got me in the mood Kitty lol
66babe That's far too dangerous. You need to do what I do, hairdryer on hot setting and teach RIGHT inside. X
