Feel fat bloated sweaty ugly unfit and just bloody awful
Have been trying forever to become motivated and do better .. but I can't seem to get into the right frame of mind
I know exactly how to eat healthy
I know exactly how to move more
Just need a massive kick up theatre to get me going ...
I've hit rock bottom so just finished off 4 cookies to make me feel better 😩😩😩
If it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny

I don't have a box of things that don't fit me ... It's more like I could fill a carrier bag with things that do .. the rest of it is .. well ... think Michelin man in 3 sizes too small

My biggest problem is not being able to draw a line under a bad few days and getting back on the waggon -

The urge to say it’s been a shit week so may as well keep being shit and stuff my face with all the food tonight is strong but i know I need to be better than that and nip it in the bud and not keep prolonging the problem or I’ll just get fatter not thinner!!

Don't beat yourself up for 'falling off the wagon,' just draw a line under that extra food and carry on as you would like to. One bad day/meal doesn't have to mean ruining a whole day/week! The sooner you get back on it the better you will feel. Smile

Ah Chinny ... I've not been great either
Although , have to admit haven't even enjoyed what I've eaten today
Weigh in and then food shopping tomorrow .. will go for another week of proper food and being banned from the Coop
Think I've saved about £30 this week so may treat myself tomorrow to some nice PJ's if I see any I like in Tesco

Hi @66babe I was unable to keep my old name when I rejoined.

I think my good weight loss was because on teeth whitening day I only ate one apricot before I went. I hadn't considered that I couldn't eat for a few hours after, and then it was bedtime. I just weighed today and I'm half a pound heavier than yesterday.

Well .. drum roll please
I have failed miserably and lost a grand total of 0 lbs
Stayed the same 🤭
I'm blaming the fact that I did not file my nails , shave my legs , blow my nose , try harder to have a poo
get a haircut remove my tiny pinky ring and I may have actually still be wearing my Fitbit ! What a school boy error

To be honest, I'm not surprised
I was seeing this week as a victory as I've eaten proper food every day
( not always the case )
That food has included cheese butter etc so not the most diet friendly but a step in the right direction ?

I just have to keep going
And also admit I had a mild relapse Friday and again Saturday
😩

@66babe I’m sorry the scales haven’t budged but honestly, I agree you’ve made some really important changes that are healthy even if that doesn’t translate to weight loss at this stage. It’s bloody hard to ditch the convenience food and lovely treats in favour of home cooking but I’m sure you’ll feel the rewards from it xx

Crap but not unexpectedly so at my end. Gained almost a pound. But considering my lack of exercise, stodge fest and takeaway I can’t really say I’m surprised at all. I deserved that. Hoping next week will be better and I will weigh considerably less than 12 stone 10.8lbs!

Oh yeah, forgot to say, I did go to bed and asleep...But I woke at just gone 3am and have been awake since. Confused (I had been watching Australia's Biggest Loser on my tablet but it died. It's now charging up, hence why I'm on here so early.)

I've not been food shopping yet , planned yesterday but had an unannounced visitor she brought pizza and cake

So today will keep to the I am not on a diet mantra but will shop more mindfully for this week .. increase the salady stuff and hope for any kind of loss next week

Do you allow yourself treats? I always buy seven small chocolate bars around the 100 ish calorie mark - flake, crunchie, Cadbury’s little bar etc and have one every evening with a cuppa whilst DD is in bed and I’m watching something I like on TV. It helps keep me on the straight and narrow each day because I know where my next treat is coming from 🤣 it means when I get the 3pm munchies I can resist the urge to stuff my face because I know I’m going to enjoy my half an hour of peace with my cuppa and choc later on? It just helps psychologically helps I think as I know I have something to look forward to and I need to be patient. Because it’s something I enjoy I know that if I go to soon and cave mid afternoon I won’t have that nice opportunity later as I’ll have eaten that days chocolate already and that helps me to make a sensible choice. Appreciate it doesn’t work for everyone but it really helps me so thought I’d share just incase it’s something that could work for you. Obviously feel free to ignore, but it seems to fit well with the “I’m not on a diet” mindset

I can pretty much tell exactly how much I weight just by looking at my face .. I was also awake around 4 some fox or similar animal was screeching outside and because it was almost light I struggled to get back off.. until about 6 🙄

I've done something a bit like you Hartleyhare1206. I have my Sainsbury's order arriving today and I had a 'little' treat in it. A double chocolate muffin. Grin It's for tomorrow, after I've weighed myself. I haven't had anything like it for two weeks so I think it's allowed and I'm looking forward to it anyway. Grin

Hi @Hartleyhare1206 no that would definitely not work for me as I would scoff the lot in one sitting ! Have done on many occasions
I remember buying a box of after eights and putting them in the fridge planning to have 2 each night after dinner ... oh no .. they became my starter
Really wish I could be one of those people who could have ONE biscuit or ONE chocolate

Maybe one day 🤞🏻

At the risk of outing myself ... well who would care I am who I am
I've had a really crap time since the very beginning of Covid
My 1st cat died
My daughter got pregnant again to her vile boyfriend who I detest the feeling is mutual
Work became absolutely manic , I'm a nurse
My 2nd cat was run over
My one and only friend really let me down and we are now NC
I got Covid and spent 3 weeks in ITU
I've been on steroids since January because of scarring on my lungs
I've felt down , lonely , gutted to lose my fur babies I use to hate it but how I would love to hear that wailing noise they make as they drag some poor mole through the cat flap
Work is still busy and I had no AL for 11 months , the only time off I've had I spent in hospital
Like most of the key workers in all professions it's been hard to accommodate the care with restrictions, PPE and the attitude of some patients/ relatives and colleagues

Now don't get me wrong I was fat before all this but it hasn't helped
Can't believe I wrote that ..

Aww 66babe, you've had a really, really bad time of it haven't you? I can understand turning to something for comfort, in this case food. I'm so sorry about your cats. Sad I so sorry you've suffered anything you listed. Flowers You are obviously one strong woman to go through all that, and come out the other side. You are brave, you are strong, you are resilient, never forget that.
