Feel fat bloated sweaty ugly unfit and just bloody awful
Have been trying forever to become motivated and do better .. but I can't seem to get into the right frame of mind
I know exactly how to eat healthy
I know exactly how to move more
Just need a massive kick up theatre to get me going ...
I've hit rock bottom so just finished off 4 cookies to make me feel better 😩😩😩
If it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny

Hi, no kick up the theater here. Grin I would try and not be so hard on yourself. Also, try not to think, 'I'm on a diet.' Maybe try, 'I'm healthy eating instead.' Or, 'I enjoy moving my body,' or, 'I like the feeling I get after exercising.'
Maybe set yourself a min goal? First 3lb lost, then 7lb, ect?

So I'm going back to SW at 11 tomorrow and hope to get my arse into gear or I may not fit in a theatre seat soon

Does the 66 in your name refer to your birth year OP? If so, you're the same age as me and I hear you! I'm finding the weight impossible to shift post menopause. However I cut out bread ( and butter) and have been eating loads of healthy food. I haven't lost anything but I'll definitely feel less bloated and much better. I'm no longer mainlining gaviscon.

Yes ... a 66 girl .. heading in a couple of weeks to the big 55 ... which will make me closer to 60 than 50 😩

10st 7 is my goal weight too!

I have two stone which I lose every few years and then put back on again. I'm currently at the top end so 13'10 ish. Really need to be 10'10 to be " healthy weight". That's not likely to happen barring amputation.

I've been calorie counting, about 1200 a day. I kept binging at night (MY danger time, specially if I couldn't sleep.) but have moved 99% of the sweet stuff out my flat and haven't binged for about a week. Have had mad cravings though! So this has been my first 'clean' (Ie, binge free) week for about a month. I want to see how much I lose that way. I am due to weigh on Monday. I was doing it monthly but need the incentive of a (Hopefully) downward trend every week.

I will join in but I'm not promising much as I'm on leave after next week. I've just had a salad while the rest of family had pizza though! Unfortunately (or fortunately) I had my kids late so I've still got teenagers in the house so we have to be fully stocked up at all times!

Have 2 wardrobes full of gorgeous clothes never been worn

I got from 11st 6 to 10 st in 2019 doing intermittent fasting eat between 12-8 only and cardio most mornings food on smaller plates. Have to live like this forever now but still have wine crisps etc but maintaining my 10st. Am 5 ft 6 and 46. Good luck

I might try to lose some weight although from an email yesterday it sounds like our July holiday may not be happening (not certain yet) so that removes a bit of an incentive.

I’m 40 and I’ve gone down a dress size in 6 weeks by eating only one protein at each meal and filling my plate with salad/veg.
No potatoes, pasta, bread etc.
I’ve given myself a few meals off whenever I’ve fancied it, so not strict and I’ve found my appetite has reduced as I’m not getting the sugar highs and lows.
I don’t tend to drink and I don’t eat takeaway here really.
The meals I’ve had have been really tasty - lots of salmon, goats cheese etc and I’ve used different vinaigrette’s to liven up the salad. Also, drink lots of water - it fills you up.

It’s not been hard and I was very surprised when at the dress fitting, my wedding dress needed no alterations.
If you think you’re on a diet a d stress about not eating you’ll eat even more.

Good point although it is cancelled I will get a refund. I could then book to go somewhere on my own on a last minute thing later in the summer or with one of the student children (I have not had a night away from home since summer 2019 - last summer's family holiday was cancelled too)

Intermittent fasting is the easiest way I’ve found to shift weight. I just don’t eat most mornings.

Hello everyone. I have egg on my face this morning. Me saying I haven't binged for a week. Last night I remembered the ice cream in the freezer. 181 cals per half pot (Asda's). I ate the lot. Blush However, if I cut down lunch today and tomorrow I should manage to level out for the week.
I forgot to say, I'm also trying 16:8 too. I have about 100-150g of crabs a day. What method are you going to use?

@Slimmingstar when is your wedding ? I'm similar in that I don't drink alcohol and live in the middle of nowhere so no take away can be delivered here thank god or I'd be even fatter

So I went to Fat Club and was 12st 13 lbs so I'm grateful for that 1 lb that kept me under the 13 .. thank god I'd had a wee
I've been shopping and went to Iceland too and got some of my favourite pea and ham soup .. free !
Onwards and downwards for us all !
Who else was going to weigh today I can't remember?
